thank you. You have convinced me to replace my old faucet (which had the traditional drain lever) with a faucet and separate sink stopper! That will save some pain. I'm very impressed with your under the sink camera work too!!! thx for sharing!
I'm a guy with long hair and I feel your pain! I have a push button in the bathroom but mine screws out, it doesn't just lift. It does work better I think but the biggest gripe I have is if you fill the sink with water and then say use it for cleaning stuff and the water gets gunky, you have to put your hand in all the gunk to let the water out. It is super simple to install one like you showed!
I put the push button stopper when renovating my bathroom last year and its jammed now and doesnt move. Neither does the neck of the faucet as it use have the ability to swivel from side to side. When checking it out, it looks like the hard water we have here in TX caused everything to stick. No cleaning methods ive tried have been able to get it to unstick so I now have to install a whole new faucet and stopper all together.
A plastic drain? It looks ok but seems cheap in the long run, like a way for the manufacturer to insure that the consumer has to $$$ replace it every few years. Faucet is pretty though.
Do you think a push-button sink stopper would work for you?
