I have a different model (P55W-B5224) of Toshiba where I am thinking to apply your technique. However, I do not know whether the same cable outputs to the LCD as well as the touch screen. Thanks for closeups of opening the outer shell to access the cables. Overall it was an excellent video. If you make a video replacing the screens, there may be more viewers. Great video. I have this exact machine. I recently replaced the touch screen/digitizer. It would have been helpful to see that portion of the repair. Also, for anyone else doing this, you need a heat gun ( i used my wife's old hair dryer) to separate the screen from the mount. One other note, when I purchased the replacement touch screen, it didn't come with new adhesive.
Can you please help me with the screen replacement...i have a huge dead pixel spot on this machine model. I can't seem to find the tutorial for it...the touchscreen is working fine.
