The cars aren't terribly far apart performance wise. But this is Indy. It's not full of spoiled entitled drivers who think all bits of the track belong to them at any moment. Drivers are willing to take chances and make passes. The move to F1 at this point would be only for finical gain. The racing is awful and you're seeing more diehard F1 guys turn to other series. Indycar needs to stick with their formula to continue providing amazing races like all 3 have been thus far this season, and how many were last season.
These highlights are so hard to follow like does the editing team watch it before putting it out
Kirkwood, you’re so close to winngl
Helio need to just do indy oh and aj won 4 as always a full time driver
Dixon had mirrors as far as I could see
Lucky for Grojean Ericsson wasnt racing 😀
I think Grosjean forgot he had a passing button.
Had almost no fuel left, he couldn't afford to be on the push to pass. Just rough pit timing
Where is Sato?😢
I miss the 90s indy car those were the day of real speed ....
232mph!
Wow didn’t know that INDI cars can turn right.
Another year with the Dolphin Fountain intact…
*just
Lol
can of pinot?
so much carnage ..
Is this the 1st time that two former f1 drivers share the podium together?
Sato and Bourdais come to mind. It has happened in the CART days.
And to think O'Ward was being talked about going to F1 meanwhile he's doing his best impression of a WW2 Japanese pilot
O Ward is always an accident waiting to happen. Reckless
Accidents!
@@davesouthword1298 That wasn't an accident. In any form of the word. Imo
@@bradley-eblesisor - yes, you’re right.
Wow I haven't watched racing in a while, they pretty much have closed cockpits now... At this point just put a hatch at the top! The cars do look fricking cool though!
Why do they keep trying to pass through such a tight corner? I wouldn't even do it side by side because it would cost too much time and positions.
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
we got evil pato in this race
Great racing! My only complaint is how many laps us viewers lose with all the commercials! Do a split screen please! The entire race is an advertisement with billboards on the tracks and liveries on the cars. I get you need the revenue but fans need the racing!
