@@sadikurrahman4833 Hold it right there. Don't you dare compare the lower class Indycar to Formula One. Plenty of washed F1 drivers don't even know how to dominate in Indycar, showing you how low tier the series is. Even a driver like Ericsson excels. I"m a huge Dixon fan but you cannot compare him with a great F1 driver until he's actually done a run in F1, which i'm afraid he won't do.
It’s one thing to save fuel. Will Power did it. But to be able to save that amount of fuel, pass him, and beat him by nearly 16 seconds is mind boggling. If it were the old days of racing you’d think he had an extra gallon stowed away. The rest of team Ganassi should spend all week and the rest of the season studying the telemetry on how he did it.
Willy p didn’t have another set of greens to run like Dixon did. Sure, Dixons were used, but still. Also, powers gap he created with the greens was erased with the caution. I’m a big Dixon fan and yeah he’s better at saving fuel compared to power but power did kinda get screwed a little
Yet another impressive win for this guy.. I think this ranks 2nd to his Nashville win a few years ago where he literally made 1 set off tires last 2/3 of the race. Still, if anyone can win with fuel savings.. it's Mr. Dixon.
This was my first Long Beach GP I attended in person and what an absolute classic race to witness! If anyone here is thinking about going to this event, DO IT. I can now see why it's second only to the Indy 500 on the schedule; it had an event atmosphere that was absolutely comparable to the 500, but California-style. I will be back!
NASCARS stages, ridiculous points system, and the absolute insane amount of ads during the broadcast kill any appeal the series has. It's like they want no one to watch
You can watch many of the races from the past here in this channel, recommendations : Fontana 2002, 2004, 2013, 2015 Texas 2003, 2011, 2016, 2017, 2022, 2023 Road america 1996 Indy 500 Sao Paolo 2013 Chicagoland, just to say a few races
NTT Indycar series thanks for the extended highlights, much appreciated. Don't know what it is, do these New Zealanders have extra fibre in their diet.
I want to see him dominate though, not just win a couple races, but just DESTROY the field with many poles and easy victories, just like Max does in F1.
He was at his WEC race with Team Jota this weekend. Pourchaire is on deck for Barber this weekend since he's already there, and if Malukas can't get medical clearance, Illot will probably be back for the Indy 500 since he has oval experience.
How Herta didn't get a penalty for hitting Newgarden when Pato got one earlier in the race for the same thing is beyond me. Stewards are inconsistent at best or have favoritism at worst.
Best guess is that Pato caused actual damage against his teammate resulting in a pit stop while Newgarden was able to get going again. If it had knocked him out of the race, then there would be no excuse for a penalty.
Once again, the camera work is TERRIBLE. It's worse than F1 really. Plenty of action upfront but they keep cutting to shots of the city or some backmarker being by himself. The fights and overtakes of Dixon in the beginning all missed, every time they showed replays while they could've easily stuck with the action of drivers who were actually close and far up the field....... but no....... we watch some useless rookie onboard doing slow laptimes. Thanks.... useless camera people. Fantastic race, but not enjoyable due to the the absolute inconsistent cutting away from interesting battles.... I can't believe I managed to continue but seeing the legend Scott Dixon pulling off some magic made me stick to it. His pace was incredible on the first stint! For a moment i feared that Ganassi had screwed up with the next stint's strategy due to the formidable speed of Newgarden and Scott having used tyres, but he made them last! He's the GOAT. What a driver. I won't support anyone else, ever.
Scott Dixon and Fernando Alonso are never going to retire are they? Amazing how good they still are despite being in their 40s.
dixon can still win in a spec series. Alonso is a tier below him he's washed

Huge props for 30 minutes of highlights
Try the F1 highlights from the last GP (China) - that was 8mins!!!! TBH even that was mostly a dull watch.
these extended highlights are done so well
Love a bit of action at Long Beach!
Hats off to Theo Pourchaire too! 11th in his first ever Indycar race!
Indycar is a series with great racing!
man these 30 min highlights are great, wish other racing series would take a note.
Very impressed by Theo! Lots of future still there!
Scott Dixon... HOW DO YOU DO IT? What a bloody legend he is. Only he can make it work like that.
the art of going fast without going fast, the force is strong in this one.
These extended highlights are great
Love me some Indycar racing, was a huge F1 fan but I have come over to the Indy side
Exactly who wants to watch best of the rest and same guy win every week. And no wheel to wheel action! Indy is where its at for open wheel these days.
also F2, F3, formula regional, super formula, formula E
Same here!!! Dropped F1 for Indycar 6-7 years ago
@@mb123tdt I actually have a chance to go to spa this summer to the race but I don't know if it's even worth it

I was at this race holy cow that was a fun day. These cars flying down the front stretch by the bars was crazy cool

If that’s the case, in a hypothetical reality he should come over to stock cars and jump in a late model 😏✍️
Wish there were a full coverage replay. These highlights were great!
What a race 💪🏻 30min of highlights for a race that doesn’t even last 2 hours says a a lot about Indy Car.
wow this is getting very interesting i will watch the rest of the season for sure!!!

Would love to see Max Verstappen switch to indycar some day. Haven't watched indycar in ages but that was great to watch. So competitive.
More exciting than all the F1 races I've seen this year tbh
More exciting than most every F1 race ever. They're so delicate, you literally get penalties for "movement under braking" 😂
Dude... There is movement under braking penalty in IndyCar too, stop making us look imbecile.
Thank you for posting 👍👍
just remember, when F1 9 times out of 10 had a letdown day for obvious reasons, just know Indycar and NASCAR could 9 times out of 10 makeup for that.

Scott Dixon old fox, is the Alonso of Indy
No, he's the Schumacher of Indy, Alonso = crasher O'ward
He would be, if Alonso won 4 more drivers titles.

He seems like the obvious choice, yeah. Its gonna be him vs Palou again I believe.
And an indy 500!?🤞
Anything is possible with scott dixon and ganassi. I hope does, like the way he goes about his racing, true champion.

Scott Dixon is the goat of open-wheel racing, 20 years running.
GOAT of Indycar, not of open-wheel racing. He's not done F1.

Herta touched Newgarden like Stroll on Tsunoda in Shangai yesterday. 😮😮😮😮
I think newgarden should’ve gotten 2nd back that was a horrible call
It was a total NASCAR move. You could tell Herta was upset about it after the race.
Unlike Herta, Stroll blamed Danny Ric.
