One of the key things that makes IndyCar so good to watch and i think gives it an edge over F1 that a lot of people don't really appreciate is the cars are the same so it comes down to driver skill and strategy, I love F1 I've watched it since 1999 but I find IndyCar a far more enjoyable series to watch because of how close it is between everyone, you never know who's gonna win the next race

The problem with IndyCar is the lack of outreach. I only know about it because of word of mouth. Outside of the Indy 500, basically nobody around me knows what it is. Maybe it needs a good video game to put it on the map. Something to the quality of the F1 games or the Dirt Rally games.

      .....Graham Rahal Stats
      Races. 276
      Poles. 5
      Wins. 6
      Podiums. 33
      Champ. 0 (4th place)
      Indy 500s. 0 (3rd place twice)
      Avg Start. 12.8
      Avg Finish. 12.0
.....Graham also won a race in 2011 the 24 hours of Daytona too.
      Marco Andretti Stats
      Races. 251
      Poles. 6
      Wins. 2
      Podiums. 20
      Champ. 0 (5th place)
      Indy 500s. 0 (2nd place)
      Avg Start. 12.5
      Avg Finish.12.3
.....Marco Andretti also won the 2022 SRX Championship too.
.....My opinion is this.... Neither one of them would of extended their careers past the 8th year without their daddys help. So yes they would still be in Indycar, but Marco Andretti would be more like Carlos Munoz. He only raced full time for 4 years, and part time for 2 years. Graham Rahal would be more like Oriol Servia in his Cart years. Anyway have a great day, and God bless.

I’m an Pato fan, but not going to make excuses for why he did so poorly. I just want to say one thing, he did exactly what Herta did and Pato got a drive through, they didn’t even look at Herta.
This isn’t F1, whatever you do to one you really should do to the other. I would say the only difference in the replay is 5 at least attempted to avoid contact, but 26 just lifted him and kept pushing.

Pato didn't get a drive through, he gave up 5 places. And him ramming Rossi on what's basically a straight with a kink was much more black and white, whereas Herta was on the edge of what could be considered racing incident in the tightest of tight spots on the calendar.
