This is the third "NBC" highlight video I've watched and I had to check and see if it's still an American owned company. A majority of the announcers at different events all sound as if they've developed British accents for some reason. 😂🤣

Herta finishing 6th despite getting spun into last lap one and having a broken diffuser is incredible. The amount of bad luck he's had this season is crazy
A lot of it is him. He gets too greedy and pushes too hard when he doesn’t need to. Indy 500 his fault. Detroit his fault. Many other times in his career where he crashed when he could have had a podium or even a win. I like Colton, and think he’s a great driver but he needs to learn to keep his composure, and stop making dumb mistakes that cost him dearly.

Colton is amazing. He makes the stupidest mistakes, some of it is bad luck, but he's got potential. He's giddy right now, he's trying to make up last week's race (and the week before). Dude is a very good and solid driver, he just is letting his excitement get to him.
I love both styles, you can't tell me that street circuits like long beach, st Pete and Toronto aren't all exciting and usually are good races for indycar, as much as I love permanent road courses like road America and barber

You can have side-by-side, wheel-to-wheel racing and not literally Sting Ray Rob people on every corner. There is a middle ground there.

IndyCar needs to run a majority of their races in the Midwest. Keep a majority of their races close to Indianapolis. Build a solid regional base like NASCAR did in the Southeast.

Three cars hit the car in front of them into turn 1, spinning the car in front. Two got penalties, one did not. Newgarden punted Herta and ruined his race, but no oenalty. A "racing incident" for sure, but so were the other two. Thought Herta did a great job recovering to finish 6th. Congratulations Will Power! On another note: Hate the aero screens. Would much rather see a halo instead. Miss being able to see the drivers as they race.
Newgarden should have been penalized. Play it back at half-speed and decide for yourself. He was pulling away Power and Rossi. He can claim there was an opening on the outside between Scottymac and Herta, but he was straight ahead. Even at half-speed the closing rate was incredible. If that is the excuse for giving him a pass, that he was already on the gas, it is really weak. Hench and Bell chickened out on calling it since it doesn't fit into the narrative of repairing his reputation. Quietly implicit is the notion that Josef is so good he wouldn't make that mistake. What I would like to see is the stewards pulling the telemetry as part of the decision process.
Herta has been better than all of the Penske drivers, but Penske gets every break there way and Herta couldn’t have any more go wrong short of his car spontaneously combusting. Dude has been on it all year and just can’t catch a break. He will be an Indy car champion in the very near future, and it will be with Andretti Autosport

Talking about the juncos drama while newgarden was catching McLaughlin and almost missed the pass, And going to commercial after the penskes last stop and missing newgarden trying to pass power. I gotta say, this race was spectacular. If indycar would avoid ovals completely, they could very well be better than formula 1. In f1 is garbage strategies and playing it safe and doing anything but racing. Here we have entertainment, pilot going out left and right, shoving each other, full contact racing.
A year they get caught cheating and Penske sweeps front row at Indy with speeds that are way ahead of other 30 drivers in field and Newgarden wins race. Now a week after all three struggle in Detroit, they finish one, two, three at Road America and fourth place car is way back, pleeaaaassee. Power hadn't won for two years, big deal, some of these guys never win. Newgarden nailed somebody early in race with no penalty. It is like the Penske drivers are owed wins, sickens me. Plus Formula 1 one guys wins about all the time, how is that fun to watch.
These are adults driving go karts and hitting people like they are still driving karts at age 6. To call even half the grid professional would be stretch.
An interesting display of high speed bumper cars. An uneducated observer might think there is a lack of respect between the drivers, a lack of overall talent in the series, or with everyone being in spec race cars with the same handling and horsepower, you have to be overly aggressive just to make things happen.
What world class racing, go about punting off rivals, to further your progress...if not, punch or fight rivals afterwards like the superstar Ferucci did last race!!

Logan Sargeant went off twice before crashing. Checo crashed alone. Sainz spun off and collected Albon. Russell make two mistakes which cost him the victory. This is the best which f1 has to offer?

Watched the F1 race, then the Indy Car race today. Supposedly the best drivers in the World. Saw too many stupid mistakes and stupid moves for me to call them that. Seems to be worst this year than I've seen for awhile. Too many buy a ride wankers in both series.

The liveries change depending on how many races the sponsors are sponsoring the car. Some don’t change at all and some for example the 28 car changes liveries because different sponsors come in to sponsor the car during different races
So, was the cheating scandal to open the season revealed, and the individuals punished, nothing more than a smokescreen to cover the rest of the season? How in the world were the three Penske cars over 15 seconds ahead of 3rd, in a spec series? No way Penske spends that much more money than Ganassi or McLaren.
I think i counted 1 on track pass for a top 3 position that didn't involve a restart. Sorry i dont call that a great race. Too much parading.....just my opinion

An interesting display of high speed bumper cars. An uneducated observer might think there is a lack of respect between the drivers, a lack of overall talent in the series, or with everyone being in spec race cars with the same handling and horsepower, you have to be overly aggressive just to make things happen.

Logan Sargeant went off twice before crashing. Checo crashed alone. Sainz spun off and collected Albon. Russell make two mistakes which cost him the victory.

And, Logan Sargeant is a pay driver. Checo is a pay driver. Stroll is a pay driver. Those guys are literally paying tens of millions for their seats, of course they suck. They aren't there for their skill (Checo somewhat excluded). They're there because they have sponsors.

Watched the F1 race, then the Indy Car race today. Supposedly the best drivers in the World. Saw too many stupid mistakes and stupid moves for me to call them that. Seems to be worst this year than I've seen for awhile. Too many buy a ride wankers in both series.

The liveries change depending on how many races the sponsors are sponsoring the car. Some don’t change at all and some for example the 28 car changes liveries because different sponsors come in to sponsor the car during different races
So, was the cheating scandal to open the season revealed, and the individuals punished, nothing more than a smokescreen to cover the rest of the season? How in the world were the three Penske cars over 15 seconds ahead of 3rd, in a spec series? No way Penske spends that much more money than Ganassi or McLaren.
I think i counted 1 on track pass for a top 3 position that didn't involve a restart. Sorry i dont call that a great race. Too much parading.....just my opinion
