Gm's been making the best handling, best driving, & most rewarding driver's cars. Like the 3800-4100lb CT4v/5v Blackwings. My absolute dream cars. Which are both incredible track sedans, pulling 1.02-1.05g of skidpad grip.. (more than a Ferrari 458), offered with manuals, & great engines, great interiors etc. Not to mention the performance of Camaro's Z/28/1LE's, old ATS/CTSv's, Chevy SS & C6,C7,C8 Vettes 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸👍 Too bad the economy's made them all currently unobtainable for me😅

There is a statement learning about an automotive company funding a racing team to advertise their vehicular technology. Cadillac, regardless of winning or losing podiums, showcase that. Normally, auto racing is all about the winners, but seeing a struggling team trying to fight their way to the top was a fresh perspective.
I wish more companies would do documentaries like this, its nice to see some passion poured into media that conveys the same feelings of hardcore enjoyers yet puts the information in a basic fashion for those new to the sport.
If you just want to watch "company documentary films" look into industrial films. It was a whole subgenre complete with famous directors, a list actors, great inside jokes etc. the original turbo encabulator is one of those as well as Miss Guided Missile. A great look back at the Navy's China lake missile development and test facility.
I truly love the V-Series R, especially Sound wise GM/Caddy got told "Hybrid Hypercars" and went "Cross plane V8 got it" All the best to the teams at Le Mans
The coolest part about this is how nobody else shows how the car is actually made. They usually just put in some technical jargin and make it impossible to understand so they don't have to deal with such "complicated" matters. Seriously, it shows a lot about how much passion went into this brand, to make a documentary that actually shines a light on what it is really like to build something the world has never seen before.
I am so thrilled with this Cadillac hypercar. The kick over onto the ICE sends chills down my spine, every time. Can’t wait to see you on the top step of the podium!
Having driven several 24H races myself in GT cars, I cannot express enough how much respect we should all have for the mechanics and pit crew. Most people have no idea how hard these people work and deliver during a raceweek. Best of luck next year!

The Peugeot 9x8 is an LMH that can be heard switching to its combustion but even then it does it while pretty much inside the pit box and doesn’t really drive off on electric only either. There’s also a difference between LMH and LMDh cars as well.

I was at Le Mans last year at the 100th race and it was great not only to see the current cars, but they also flew out some museum cars from the Collier collection in Naples Fl. Awesome to see and hear them blazing down the track!!!! Can't wait till this year!!!
@anthony.van11 Nobody has to win it in the same year. Go take a look at the past Endurance Triple Crown winners. The most recent won it in 2010 was Timo Bernhard he won The Daytona 24hrs in 2003, 12hrs of Sebring in 2008 and 24hrs of Le Man in 2010 and 2017. He completed the cycle in 2010.

To finish 7th at Le Mans is a massive result. To even finish at Le Mans is a huge achievement for any team. Teams need data and experience to even enter this grueling race.

I just watched the 2023 Le Mans 24 Hours two weeks ago, so the story of the race is very fresh in my memory. Cadillac overcame tremendous adversity in their first year. I felt as I watched, that the 3rd and 4th were probably the most well earned positions in the standings. Obviously the winner always has the strongest position, and Ferrari did an astounding job. The professionalism and enthusiasm of their team was a joy to watch. Cadillac has much to be proud of.
First of all. Lets fucking go Cadillac!!! Second, Me and my endurance team run the Cadillac Hyper Car in iRacing in a special league. It's such an exciting car to drive I never get tired even after 4 hours. That cabin engine noise ❤
I'm a lifelong drag racer be and rarely "stray" from the straight strip but I decided to see what an American manufactured car could do internationally so I grabbed a beer and dropped into my hammock and can actually say I 100%am impressed with what team caddy made happen in such a small timeframe and then win the championship (s) year one. Congratulations from a GM lifer and wish continued success.🏆🏁🇺🇸
It's very good, but I think Truth in 24 & Truth in 24 v. 2 about Audi at Le Mans in 2008 and 2011 are THE films about a team at Le Mans. Done by NFL films and narrated by Jason Statham and capturing two classic versions of the race.
10:49 Ahh, memories. GM built the Performance & Racing Center addition to the GM Powertrain Center when I was working there in 2015. When they completed the addition, they had an event where the other employees at the Powertrain Center could tour the facility. They have some badass equipment there.
It's nice to see US manufactures racing. I can't help but wish it was a full in-house effort though. Both Ford and GM outsource a lot of their racing and I think that's a missed opportunity for them both to grow that internal talent. I hope that Cadillac will take that next step and do both the engine and chassis in house and then transition what they learn to their street cars.

Garage 56 would have done a lot better than that if they didn't have problems at the end
Garage 56 had to start between LMP2 and GTPro cause it was faster than GT’s and they didn’t want it coming up through the field.
