It is a genuine shame that this sport isn’t bigger in the US…I mean what’s not to love; big fast trucks, wild accidents and keep on racing, big smoky burnouts, jumps, etc.
I watched these races as a kid, loved seeing them come back. My favorite track is still the LA Coliseum, hopefully that track makes the schedule again. Always an amazing show.
I mean, someone loves them. SST has a huge following in Australia, and with that alone, SST will be around for awhile. Not to mention, it's still growing. Nationally and internationally.
Why I love this new series! Robby Gordon is a genius creating it! Best racing I’ve seen in a while! Those trucks are double tough! The reaction of Robby at the end was priceless! What a class act! A true racer and gentleman!!!
That was an entertaining 3 minutes. From the leaders racing, ignoring the yellows, racing to the incident, 2nd place crossing the line on 2 wheels, and then the truck pin balling off the fence 👍
Helps to have the grandstands stationed a little further back, too. But yeah, it’s amazing how those fences can be that strong despite not being permanent fixtures.
@@johnpeterman9469 yeah what they did is pretty stupid and dangerous. Has this been any other racing series they would probably have been suspended for racing under yellow
@@cademckee7276 ? They weren't racing when they went passed the flipped truck? They stopped racing where that incident happened. No need to stop racing 2 miles before where the wreck happened.
This is hands down the most entertaining racing I know of today, crossed up, hanging it all out, smoking the tires, to hell with the lap times real estate racing.... quality entertainment. I was an ARCA Truck Series owner and 2015 Champion owner.....we put on a good show but it wasn't this much fun to watch!
I love when these pop up in my feed. It really feels like yes it is a race and they all want to win but at the end of the day they are all performers and want to make it an experience for the viewers. Great final lap with multiple overtakes, 2nd place on 2 wheels, 1st and 2nd doing doughnuts over the line. big crash where the driver looked fine afterwards. what is not to like about this?!?! much more enjoyable than F1 imo.
Proper racing and a bit of showboating at the end because of the caution. This series deserves far more recognition.I found it on lockdown and it helped getting through those days inside👍👏👏👏😍🏴
What a battle! And doing some showing off with the stricken car in the background, haha! Glad O'Keefe is okay but what a crazy sport! Love every moment of it!
Man, Robby does it for the fans. You can tell in the set up of the races, and his donuts and 2 wheeling for the crowd. Fun for them, a blast for the fans. Definitely needs more of a market in the US than it's getting.
Idk why, but i have a really good sense of speed when watching this series. Idk if its just because its a really tight road course or the trucks are massive enough to show speed compared to sleek race cars
Ahhh you freaked me out with this new video hearing Long Beach. I was like wait it already happened, dammit thought it was in September this year (then I checked schedule) been taking my kid to the LB Grand Prix for years 🤘
This is what Motorsport is supposed to be, these people are having fun and you can see it, as a rally driver watching large trucks like this take turns on asphalt and almost fall over is incredibly entertaining and terrifying to watch
I'm a touch confused here. From 0:53 all the way up to the end of the final lap there are double yellow flags very clearly being displayed, indicating a full course yellow. In just about every road racing series I know of, that means drivers are required to slow down, and are not allowed to overtake, for safety reasons obviously. Yet the leaders continued to duke it out all the way to the final corner, at which point they finally slowed down right before the accident. To me that seems incredibly stupid, seeing as how if the wreck was at any of the blind corners on the circuit, they could have driven straight into it at full speed. Do Stadium Super Truck races not have those rules of no passing under yellows? Or did they really just blatantly disregard basic safety protocols? I saw a couple of people mentioning that this was apparently an exhibition race, but exhibition or not, I find it borderline impossible to imagine any kind of race where it's ok to ignore yellow flags, despite there being a clear danger on the track. Somebody able to elaborate on what the heck went down?
I was thinking that worse still they both came into the final corner almost on top of each other. I was surprised they didn't just go straight to red flags a declare a result one lap early.
That was a HELLUVA wicked last pass Creed put on Robby...and it DEFINITELY showed just what kind of class act and a clean racer Robby Gordon is! A LOT of racers out there would of immediately bumped (and spun) Creed immediately after he put that inside move/pass on them before going into the next corner! The good ol bump (and spin) and run right on up to the checkered flag could and would have been an easy option for Robby but he didn't do it...Just checked up and filed in behind him for a 2nd place spot on the podium! Wow what great racing! America! Eff ya!
2:50 Tyler was on it - He hit the brakes as soon as he seen that truck get it wrong. This racing is so crazy, like they took it from a video game & said lets make this real life
These guys remind me of motorcycle racers, putting on a show for the crowd even if you’re in second place and then they’re giving each other 5 and laughing about their battle! What a concept! No bitching and name calling
It is a genuine shame that this sport isn’t bigger in the US…I mean what’s not to love; big fast trucks, wild accidents and keep on racing, big smoky burnouts, jumps, etc.
Literally the most American racing
We are winning them over one race at a time.

this and rally cross are the best type of racing.
Thats like a promotional video for this race series 🤘
You are soooo right, awesome skilful driving, jumps and wild crashes that the drivers walk away from, what’s not to love 😍👍🏻
No it's not

I wouldn't call it "new".. It's been around for a decade.
This is the only good kind of racing robbie Gordon is good at. He sucked in nascar
QUÊ caminhões são estes? Qual é o modelo?

Jeez that catchfence is incredibly strong. The truck just bounced off it. Also great racing. I gotta check this series out
They learned something from the NASCAR tragedy.
Helps to have the grandstands stationed a little further back, too. But yeah, it’s amazing how those fences can be that strong despite not being permanent fixtures.
I love that Robby and Sheldon raced all the way to the last corner even on a yellow. This series is about racing and I love it.
Can´t be. If there is yellow, YOU SLOW DOWN AND DO NOT OVERTAKE. Simple as that.
@@micha0001 I suggest you watch the video and pay attention, they continued to race hard until the last turn before the crash.

I love how Gordon casually puts the truck on 2 wheels to the finish line lol

So creed still race that series
Loved the in car camera! Driver was just chillin as the world was spinning.
Let's hear it for roll cages👍
And 5 point harnesses
He was real smart about keeping the wheel straight after the point of no recovery. These are professional drivers like any other.
These races always leave a smile on my face and my kids think they are the coolest things ever!
Wonderful demonstration of modern safety tech. I love that this series knows how to put on a show.
Imagine seeing a truck up ahead going into the catch fence & almost have it land on your truck. Good job by that driver to slow down in time.
no one else gonna appretiate that creed ended his race the way mfs always do in forza?
It's not just Forza lol
@@RennieAsh what, u want him to cite every single racing game ever created?
2:52 the only damage is a very bent break pedal
I love how safe these trucks are. I've seen some HUGE wrecks and it never looks dangerous. These trucks are solid.
I watch these all the time, this sport should be massive, even the finish was hilarious.
Funny enough, despite supposed to be design for much rougher races, this battle is cleaner than Max vs Lewis ever did.
Until creed tried to stuff the other truck in the fence

Love how all the cars are sponsored by RC car brands

My mouth is wide open with just astonishment every time I watch SST. Wild af
2 NASCAR drivers in stadium trucks, what a show
Wait but that ending 2 wheeler was actually insane???
If this was GTA SA, he would've gotten some bonus cash.
guys finishing like its a video game i love it
I've watched many racing series at Long Beach but this one was by far the most entertaining.
I have respect for the drivers not only cause I love this stuff but that they get in bad accidents and stay calm tuff and know what they are doing
Came for the crash, stayed for the racing.
Best racing series on the planet!
THE BEST RACING SERIES EVER!!!
im first time watching this - and i gotta say, man this is the real deal! awesome! F1 season doesnt have so much action thru the whole season!
Just testing the catch fence. 😁
Did its job.
I love how they were battling each other but then put on a show for us at the last bit. Absolute awesomeness

Creed vs Gordon AWESOME battles ☝🏼😎🤙🏼

I think it's partially because the suspensions are so soft, you see them violently tilt and flail around from the sheer g-forces. It's great to watch!
All super truck drivers , every single one of them , they are amazing
Formular 1 can learn alot from these guys. More exitment in this clip than in a whole season of F1
This is the most exciting motorsports racing on TV
Ahhh you freaked me out with this new video hearing Long Beach. I was like wait it already happened, dammit thought it was in September this year (then I checked schedule) been taking my kid to the LB Grand Prix for years 🤘
Never knew such a race existed. This is some crazy stuff
Wow.... I love this. SST.
Again.....so awesome to watch!
Forget ALL other motor sports! This is where its at!!! 🤘 😎
This is Awesome!!!
Do they still do the Indy Car Racing in Long Beach?
This sport needs to grow EARTH WIDE!!!
best racing series 🔥
Why did I never seen this sport before? This is fantastic!
I love watching these trucks race.
big props to the safety design, and damn this looks entertaining as hell !!!
Wish we had this in the UK, awesome!!

This is a very cool sport, trucks built to race on race tracks, like NASCAR truck series. Absolutely love it.
Wow. That’s like a straight up video game move. I’m gonna go sideways off this ramp and see what happens.
I love this series!
I can do those finish line antics with my Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer. I love that truck!
best motorsport ever created
Nice finish !! mutular respect and both showing off :) :) Sick video ty for sharing
Most epic finish from 1&2 ever 😂

Aw man! I remember that one.
Nasty crash, and a great battle.
Awesome racing!! 😍
Great sportsmanship! Awesome turnout for both.
The fact that the driver is completely fine after that accident is crazy.
that was such a sick final lap!!!
The drivers are very Epic, would cheer again.
Love that even the one who got second place was still celebrating instead of pouting about it
This freaking was amazing 😎😎😎.
Those trucks are anazing. I want one!
That looks like a lot of fun!!👍👍
When is the next race on?
They yellow is out but they are ignoring it and continued to race?
they knew yellow was on the front-stretch.
Did you not see them slowdown on the frontstretch?
It's a yellow not a red
Oh, that's gonna leave a mark!
Crash aside, that was some great racing!!
Wish you guys got the clearance to race the newcastle 500

What a last lap!!
How is this sport not massive all over the world?
Beautiful bug slide

Best small popularity sport in the world
Unbelievable that that fence took 6000lbs flying into it like that
When will this be available in America?
Already is...
That 2 wheeling finish and the 360 are fucking awesome haha
this shit looks sick, wish it was more popular so i could more easily watch it
