Mates, this is what USA NASCAR needs!!! Ramps. two and three wheeling turns and bumper-cars. More fun that a barrel of kookaburras...now if they'd just add a mud bog and a figure 8 in there somewhere...it would have it all.

Agreed. politics is the main reason we don't see many races here in the US. Stadium Truck racing is definitely leagues better than Nascar racing.
Because its trucks ..they aren't fast ..lifting off one wheel means your slowing down..its a truck..on asphalt ..

That's "Enforcer", he's not there to race, but instead trails the main pack to "Enforce" the rules whilst also carrying emergency fire and medical supplies for quick delivery. It's necessary in such a dangerous event.
These trucks are always entertaining to watch , And would like to point out the sportsmanship of the legendary Enforcer he stops mid race to make sure the driver was okay while everyone else just drove on that says a lot about Russell's character been watching this driver for years . 👌✌️
Exactly. I also remember the time he made sure Mark Skaife was ok on the side of the track. A bloody legend.
Why is this not popular in the US? It combines everything Americans love. Lifted trucks, accidents, v8's, track racing.

SST is great, sprint races in really safe vehicles allow seasoned pros to push it just as hard as younger drivers who have Zero fears. So many opportunities to pass as the braking is so difficult in the big rigs. It'll be great to get the other international drivers back in the races too! Fantastic racing!

This series needs to comeback to being pre and post race events to NASCAR / IndyCar races here in the States. Was awesome watching these monsters at Texas Motor Speedway a couple of years back!

There are few people on earth that know how to enjoy life like the Australians. I had the pleasure of cooking a dinner for a Australian Air Force crew visiting Canada back in my military days. One of the best times of my life.
WHY HAVE I LIVED OVER 50 YEARS AND NEVER HEARD OF THIS SPORT!!?? BRING THIS TO THE USA ASAP
The SST has been in the US since it was formed in 2013. In the 80s and early 90s you also had MTEG with grand national trucks racing on dirt tracks in stadiums and arenas.

I find it hilarious that they took forever to update each of his overtakes. He was 8th and the leaderboard showed him still in 10th for a while!

KUDOS TO YOU GUYS FOR PACKAGING OFF ROAD TRUCKS FOR MASS CONSUMPTION. YOU WOULDN'T THINK THAT OFF ROAD TRUCKS ON A ROAD COURSE WOULD WORK BUT IT WORKS NICELY. I JUST HOPE THAT YOU HAVE A MEASURE OF DIRT RACING TO OFFSET THE ROAD COURSE STUFF. IT IS CERTAINLY FUCKING COOL TO HAVE THAT MUCH POWER AND SUSPENSION.
