  • When disaster strikes and tragedy seems certain, there is only one hope - Critical Rescue - highly trained teams of paramedics, rescuers and doctors. Their jobs are dangerous, their rescues dramatic. But for the victims of a disaster, these courageous men and women are all that stand between life and death.

The title says "747" instead of "737".

To all the people who don't think of their safety and risk all to help others, God bless you. Words can never do justice or express how grateful the victim's (and us) are. Thank You!

Lenny Skutnik is a hero. Arland Williams was a hero. He sacrificed his life so that others could be saved.

Gary England is Oklahoma's hero. He has been very missed since his retirement, but we will never forget how many lives he has saved over the span of his career. In every major tornado to hit Moore, OK (1999, 2003, 2010 and 2013 especially) he was there, saving countless lives. We miss you, Gary, but also hope you are enjoying the retirement that you so well deserve! Thank you for everything you've done for us! ❤

God bless the hospital doctors and nurses and everyone working in emergency rooms.

That man who dove into the river is beyond a hero and the man who kept giving up his possession to save others was a God sent hero. He died but earned a chair right on God's side. A true HERO and my love and prayers go out to that man. He was a man they just don't make anymore. Today's average man simply won't sacrifice his life for another. Real men are gone.

I've seen a few videos of this plane crash. And I still can't believe any flights were allowed to take off in such terrible, blizzard-like weather conditions. It would have been better to err on the side of caution and ground the planes til at least the next day. Sure, the passangers would've been ticked off. But they would've all been alive had they not taken off. How those few people survived truly is a miracle, and Lenny truly is a hero.

Thank you Bystanders! Getting some kind of help to them poor passengers ❤️ people

  • @AccidentallyOnPurpose

While I can understand the woman's anger that they were not being rescued by the bystanders, there is not much those looking on could do. That water was below freezing, a lot of even healthy people could go into shock just jumping into it to save someone. And someone drowning attempting to save someone just takes away the rescuers time when they do arrive.

humanity is wonderful when we work together.. to help others

  • @nickinurse118

As a healthcare provider, RN, I am very proud of how quickly the hospital went into disaster mode and how efficiently they managed this emergency

  • @armasplaygrounds6355

The heroic effort from every last one of those people, even if their contribution was small, is something awe inspiring. Arland who died while saving the others especially

Our schools were closed that day, I was in 10th grade that year, I was watching TV and news cut in, the first shots showed cars on the bridge with no roof and one even had an arm on the armrest but no other body, it was live footage so gruesome, then they covered over the side of the bridge and trying to get the stewardess on a ring from the helicopter but she was too frozen and kept falling off. 2 years later I drove with my friends to 14th street which was at the time a red light district, on the way home the 14th street bridge had an open space where the plane went in, no barricades even, I guess they knew nobody would drive in and I don't remember hearing anyone ever did. This was terrible, it made an impact even just seeing the live footage.

  • @ptownzfinest12345

Y'all dumbfounded about the type of plane claiming clickbait obviously a mistake. Regardless 737 or 747 is still a plane with passengers!!

  • @benjaminfranklinkivettiv9433

Good lord what an amazing helicopter crew!!

  • @allisonb8912

I just drove over this bridge about an hour ago, and I got home and opened youtube and this was the first video that came up. Crazy that I live about 3 minutes from two super high profile plane crashes (this one and Flight 77).

  • @kelcritcarroll

Wow, that was a terrifying accident…..kudos to the brave people that saved the few survivors

  • @JWUniverse

Arland D. Williams was an Angel. It was time to return home for him. Angels have missions to do even if one doesn’t think or believe. They are here around us everyday! Just to say hey it’s not your time yet… Rest well 🕊️

  • @BigEightiesNewWave

More examples of how bad piloting, or bad mechanics kill people. The great majority of deaths I have seen are due to that, NOT the plane itself. All he had to do was throw that switch and wait for the probe to warm up so the engines would make full power.
