I remember the first time my oldest son slept for a 6 hour stretch, when I woke up I realized how long it had been & I ran to his crib & jerked him up & scared him to death.. I lost it & started bawling my eyes out & just sat down in the floor with him & held him close to me as he fell back to sleep in my arms. It scared me to death! He's now 20 years old & my youngest is 15 years old & I still go lay my hand on both of their backs throughout the night to make sure they're breathing.
