Sumerian gods were scary AF. If you ever get a chance to learn to read cuneiform then read some of the descriptions in the original text. It’ll give you nightmares lol
And, on top of it all, after being recumbent for a thousand years, this ancient god returns in 1984 as the Destructor... ...only to take on the hilariously terrifying form of a giant, smiling marshmallow man?!

He had a better comeuppance than Jack Hardemeyer on GB2 There was a deleted scene where he tried to enter the museum and disappeared when he walked into the slime.
I love the Murray & Aykroyd exchange at 8:50. You get the feeling Peter & Ray have known each other forever and this could be it for 2 close friends. I wish the two actors did more movies together too - great chemistry from SNL to the big screen.
I love how a big load of marshmallow falls right on Walter Peck and it makes you think, in Frozen Empire he's the mayor, is he holding a grudge because of the marshmallow incident?
I love how epic the scene is, damn, the jokes always makes me laugh and everything. Even Egon being paralyzed because he's scare is so relatable (RIP for Harold Ramis 🙌🏼). I love Ghostbusters ❤❤❤❤❤, I'm so excited for the new movie too

It makes no sense. All the ghosts they caught were on the loose after Pecker shut off the containment unit plus who honestly would think the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man would be part of some trick? That’s one thing about II that doesn’t make sense
@@GarrettBriles-sq9ih i have no issues how this played out, so what if ghosts became loose, they're not some lions let loose into the public, ghosts are part of the cycle and you cannot get rid of them, its just one big cycle, as for mr staypuff, i don't what you're confused here, apparently the powers that be allowed humanity the way it wants them to go out, but doors shut and everything from that dimension stops coming through which also destroy mr staypuff, just enjoy the ride of the film
@dekayedwolf That's true where they all had to go their separate ways (Peter having his own television show, Egon working in a Science lab, Ray being a bookstore owner, and Winston being an entertainer with Ray assisting) but, luckily the judge let them join together as Ghostbusters again and they became heroes at the end of the second film for destroying Vigo getting rid of the slime around New York City.
It was just great seeing Peck get drenched in marshmallow residue like that. He finally got what he had coming to him. I can only imagine how much his suit cost.

I am glad to see that the Ghostbusters Afterlife 2 is currently in the pipeline with a release date of later on in 2023. They are returning to New York but with the 6 new cast members who are: Phoebe, Trevor, Callie, Podcast, Lucky and Gary. Winston is going to remain as he's bankrolling things now. Ray & Venkman will be involved, however it remains unclear whether it's as they are or they're getting killed and becoming like Egon. But either way I think it's fair to say that Ray & Venkman are both going to take much more of a backseat. From what I am led to believe the intention for Ghostbusters Afterlife 2 is to bring back Viggo the Carpathian again, which is a shame because they could really do with coming out with some new villians.
Yeah a reboot of this movie is pointless. Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray, and Sigourney Weaver....how does anyone think that level of casting and storyline would be worth attempting to replicate is beyond irrationality
One thing I've recently noticed is that the horns on one of the terror dogs are longer than those of the other one. It's assumed that the one with the short horns is Zuul while the one with the long horns is Vince. In addition, this scene is very tense, especially when the four Ghostbusters are right at the edge of the building and could have fallen off at that moment.
The Ghostbusters couldn't even hit Gozer with the proton stream after it had absorbed the energy of the ghosts that escaped from the ecto-containment unit to become stronger and faster.
