The facets yarn by loops and threads my sentro 48 would not rven catch the yarn. So i tried doing waste yarn first then the machine took the facets yarn with no problems and i had the yarn in the tightest tension and the 2nd hole too. That helped a alot.
When I make my Pompoms with different colors, I put all three colors together and then wrap. I find that this will give a better distributions of the colors. I just figured that out this year.
Great video! Do you use surgical knots when binding the pom yarns together? They form very tight knots in gift wrapping with ribbon, so will probably work with yarn.
Just watching this again and listening to talk about making the pom poms reminded me the last time I made them, I was a lot younger and we used 2 circles of cardboard with a smaller circle in the middle 🙈🙊
Haha! It worked though, didn’t it? I just started a new FB group and would like to invite you to join. (If you haven’t done so already) I would love to have you as a part of that community. Here is the link …..😍 facebook.com/groups/899664008062522/?ref=share_group_link&exp=9594
They did work lol, I have joined your Facebook group, I will be adding pics soon of the 2 projects I've done so far. Thanks soo much for all your hard work doing these tutorials 💜💜 xx
Sorry for all the questions, I just thought of something I wanted to ask...... can you only use certain yarn thicknesses on the sentro machine? I live in the UK, so far I've only used dk yarn but I do have some aran and chunky yarn I want to use, will those work on it?
Koala Hello, good morning, I have a question for you, what brand of thread do you use? because I use thread 4 medium loops and I feel that the Sentros get heavy when I turn them over. I have the 22,40 and 48 needles, thanks in advance
Hi there. They can be made on the 48 but use a tighter tension. 40 needle is best for baby but 46 is also great. I’ve made many on the 46 needle. The 22 needle is so small.
Thank you so much. I have a Sentro and just purchased a Addi (from Amazon, great price right now 😊) my question is on the Addi would you still do 80 row’s since it it’s a 46 pin vs 48 or does that make any difference? I have many friends having grandkids right now and this is perfect. Ty in advanced ❤
I don't have an addie, just my Sentro 48 and need to make a baby beanie 6-9 and 9-12 month old...I have asked this questions on so many tutorials and have not received any answers..
You’ve never asked me in any tutorials cause I answer every question I get. 90 rows will give you a brimmed beanie that will fit both sizes. Use a tighter tension because the 48 really is a bit big for that age.
Thank you so much, I may have skipped asking you....hahahh I can't count how many times I have asked other people Now I am all set..lol@@koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet
Please check RUclips for child beanie tutorials. I don’t like to post row counts as a rule. It takes away from the hard work people have done to make a video. There are also many row count charts available on Google.
You can add rows and make a beanie for a toddler as well but for older kids and adults you need a wider circumference for the head. 46 or 48 needles. My go to is my 46 needle. You can make every size on it from newborn to adult.
6-12 months would be 90 rows for a brimmed hat. If you haven’t already joined my newly formed FB group, I’d like to invite you to. Here is the link… facebook.com/groups/899664008062522/?ref=share_group_link&exp=9594
Thanks for including instructions for the the pom-pom maker. I have a set but I always had trouble using it.
Your welcome!

That’s a great idea! Thank you so much! I love my senior crafters! 🥰
I just posted a video using the Jumbo Clover Pom Pom maker. I mention you in the video. Have a look! 😊
Very nice . Thank you for sharing 😊
My pleasure 😊
I got the needles that have a small bend at the point works so much better cause they can get under the stitches better😊
I have a lot of those as well. I like them too.

Glad you made it work. Sometimes a bit of tension is all it needs. 😊
This is do sweet and a wonderful gift,!

I have done the same. I like the different variations you get from wrapping different ways.
Enabler! LOL! Adding it to my list of must makes!
Bahahahahaha!

I have not tried that. Thank you for the suggestion.
Excellent video. How many rows in total did you do for the hats? Many thanks.
Thank you! I mention row totals in the video. I also have adult beanies on my channel and row counts are of course included.
🥰
If it is washed and dried how well does the Pom pom do? Beautiful hat
It washes very well.

I use mostly 4 weight. I mention all the yarn choices in each video.
What do i do if i only have the 48? Do i make a panel and then sew it together?
@@jennytran5869 just make it on the 48. Use a bit of tension.
Hi I'm new to the Sentro family and have a 48 needle version. So can a babies hat be made on that or do I need to purchase the 40 or 22 version
Hi there. They can be made on the 48 but use a tighter tension. 40 needle is best for baby but 46 is also great. I’ve made many on the 46 needle.
The 22 needle is so small.
@@koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet Thank you x
With the 48 how many rolls on this machine .

The number of needles only affects the head circumference. Total rows is the length so that stays the same. 🥰
Have you done a new born size Hat , my hospital needs newborn size . Any advice ?
I have them on my channel. Go to beanie playlist. You will love the bear beanie.
What needle are you using? Ty
They are metal wool needles. I get them on Amazon but you can also find them at Walmart.
Which size sentro for baby clothes please?
@@jasperl2038 I have not made any baby clothes. Sorry.
What kind of needle is that
@@fbkays it is a metal wool needle.

I want to make a child’s beanie with a brim on my addi 46. Could you tell me how many rows approximately would I knit? Thank you!

Is this the biggest size of hat that can be made on the sentro 40?? Hat is gorgeous btw 😍
