I can always count on you for fabulous instructions and beautiful patterns. I do no have an Addi. I have Sentro 22, 40, and 48 pin machines, so I really appreciate your adaptations.
I literally just unboxed my sentro 48 and was lucky to have your video towards the top of my search redults. Thank you for sharing your pattern with us.
What a beautiful pattern that you created. I just recently became interested in the Sentro 48 and knitting in general. Actually years ago I paid someone to teach me to knit for 15 minutes. I knitted a small square. That was it. But recently I started finger knitting a blanket and just like that became interested in knitting and crochet. Somehow I came across your channel and was very impressed by what you are able to make.
Just purchased all 3 sentro sizes. Can't wait to get started on that beautiful beanie... gotta start somewhere. Thanks for sharing and showing. Much appreciated.
@craftycaz I have been enjoying your site for a while, not just for the projects but listening to a familiar lilt in your voice. Now I just need to get busy on my machines(48 & 22). Cheers.
I’m almost done tin my beanie and I’ll post it and tag you in it! ❤thanks so very much again. Your an amazing teacher & your talent for these machines just blow me away!
Cute pattern. I found your channel a couple of weeks ago and decided after watching your diamond daisy pattern once, I could 'do it'.. so, well, I did but it turned out to be diamond towers instead lol I've got all 3 sentro sizes, my fav is the 40 tho. I started making baby beanies a few months ago, but the plain tube folded in half bored me, so I got creative and started trying to make them with a folded brim. My first was a mess, then I figured how to make it without having to sew it after it was finished. Now I get the brims made really quick with a double fold. I searched 'cable on circular knitting machine' and found a long winded tedious bunch of add-ons which I couldn't be bothered with.. then I stumbled across your channel.. an thought.. I can do that.. Well.. from the sentro 40, I've got the dragon scale, the towers, tumbling blocks, the swirl (found this one of yours tonight but mines a bit different), I have a daisy chain, a weird one I've called snakes n ladders.. Can't quite remember how I did that one, and a staircase.. how That happened I have No idea, but it looks kewl.. on the 22 needle I have dragon scale an Daisy's and a couple of rocket ships (kind of like towers but a peak in the center) on the 48, I like using your W-2 k-2. Usually with 30 rows for the brim, 30 rows of pattern and 6 plain to cast off. Your cast off is way different to mine.. after I've taken the stitches off with the needle, I miss the first stitch going back the way they came off, leaving a small loop and thread the yarn back through all the stitches then through the loop. Pulling the first part of the yarn to close the top, and pull the second thread tight. Once it's really tight, I just go through about 5 stitches again, through the center and along the other side. Then just snip the tail. I find it leaves like a nice flat flower pattern. I've never done a video for you-tube but maybe I have to give it a go:) Ty for your patterns, they're inspiring. Oh.. how can you speed on your machines without losing stiches.. as smooth as all 3 of mine are, they have a speed limit :)
Hey Caz, thank you so much for the tutorial. The close ups were really helpful, once I've had a go at my first one I will post a piccie in your fb group, fingers crossed it goes OK. I'm going to be teaching my partner how to do a plain beanie tomorrow so he can give it to our daughter for her birthday 😊😊
I am new to your channel. Ive been watching your videos all day and love them. Im from New Jersey USA. I just got my king size addi machine and cant wait to stat using it. Thank you for your tutorials. Donna 🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶
@@JannCorleyIf that option isn't available they are grayed-out. But she graciously replied that RUclips added caption availability. Otherwise I use that option all the time. Thanks darling.
This looks so cool! I'm big fan of reversable beanies on the sentro/addi, so I'm going to experiment and see whether I can make this pattern reversable - wish me luck!
Thanks for another great well explained tutorial ❤had several goes today but turns out I can't concentrate long enough to count to 6 or 7 or 8 😂 gave up & made a plain one, but at least after dismantling & re-assembling my machine earlier I now have a new fully working row counter 🎉 ( Temu ) will have another go later
Hi, I am new to Sentro knitting machine. I am in the UK. Can you suggest the best yarn to use that you can buy in the UK please? I got Aldi yarn last week, and it just keeps dropping stitches, so I am disappointed.
Curious as well! My Addi is coming in tomorrow and I’ve been watching all of Cazs gorgeous patterns! Adds a real art to the basic knitting machine that sets the products apart! ❤
I’ve lost count how many times I took 9-10 rows apart. I have the written instructions in front of me and the iPad I keep pausing and after even slowing down the video speed to .25 to follow slowly, I’m still getting 1 straight knit, a gap and 2 stitches together. Help anyone…what the devil am I doing wrong? 😵💫 I thought this gadget would be easier than my knitting needles on my arthritic fingers…
Am I binge watching your channel? Yes, yes I am
Fabulous
Fantastic pattern Thank you very very much, Your explanations are very clear and I learned plenty watching this video.

I'm a wee bit hearing impaired & also love captions if available. Thanks so much for your wonderful lessons!
Darlin there is a setting on your account you can set for closed captioning. Maybe you have someone to help you with it? 🤷🏻♀️
The captions were being done by RUclips I think so should be available now. The previous comment will help too, thank you

Wow don't have a machine yet, was looking to see if it's worth it, love the pattern thankyou for sharing it. I have now subscribed.
Thank you glad you enjoyed it
@craftycaz I did and just collected my first machine an Addi. Be a couple of days before I get to use it but excited.

You can do it I'm sure. Well done on the row counter fix
Found this. I only have the 40 stitch can I try this still
There's another video in my playlist which will give you the sequence you need for 40 pin. Have fun
This is easy on the 40, mine turned out with a much wider swirl. It was before I saw this video tho.
May I have the exact pattern of this swirl beanie please? I really love the design. Thanks for your beautiful works!
I've just taken a photo of your note pad.
lol cheeky
Hello, thanks for the tutorial, it's excellent! How many grams of wool have you used? thank you
Thanks for sharing ❤ I got a new counter for my sentro from Temu for less than £4 as I was also having problems 😮😢😂
Great idea. I think I may do the same
How much do these hats sell for? They r beautiful. Loved your tutorial. Ty.❤
Thank you for sharing. How many rows you did? Thanks
Usually I do 120 total 4 to start 36 pattern and 80 to finish 🙂

How do I adapt this for the Addi?
So, if you're using an Addi 46 needle, would you just "wrap 2, knit 1" all the way around?
Curious as well! My Addi is coming in tomorrow and I’ve been watching all of Cazs gorgeous patterns! Adds a real art to the basic knitting machine that sets the products apart! ❤
The next video is the same pattern for the Addi!
Would the pattern be the same for the XL addi?
there's one for the 46 in my playlist - slightly different
Does this pattern work for the addi? I don’t have my sentro anymore
There's an Addi version in my playlist enjoy
Would this pattern work on Sentro 40?
It will yes but check out the previous video for the sequence for that machine, it's in my playlist
😢takes forever😢
