    Great video! For those who haven't tried Minimax I just want to add that the standard version is wonderful for taking off weight (I use it all the time, never get tired in my back or arms) but it actually enhances the up/down bumps when you walk. You'll get a much smoother result if you walk without it. I'll probably get a Stabil light to address this. Oh, and we absolutely do NOT say "Schtabil" in Sweden! :) (that would be in Germany perhaps)

    Very insightful, thanks! Already have the standard MINIMAX but now I'm seriously considering to upgrade the arm because of this video. Only gripe seems to be that the camera/gimbal hangs very low... But I understand it's b/c of the long gimbal grip and not the Easyrig. Short PSA: Every standard MINIMAX with a serial number upwards from MM8179 can be upgraded with the STABIL LIGHT arm! *yay*

      Hey Frank :) I've never tried the Serene arm, but I would presume that the native Easy Rig Stabil would be a little better. Hi awesome video, I just received my easyrig mini max with stabil light arm, I understand that the top arm needs to be in the “middle” balance holding the gimble+camera, but what about the back knob that controls the rope tension, what is the proper amount of tension of the rope? Are you supposed to let the rope be loose enough so the camera drops slightly? Or super tight? please help and thank you

    • @HeyAdamGrasso

      Hey :) it should be tight enough that you can let go of your camera rig and the rope doesn’t extend or retract.

    • @HeyAdamGrasso
      @HeyAdamGrasso  2 года назад

      Hey man. So the grip is called the DJI RS2 & RSC2 Twist Grip Dual Handle To connect the gimbal to the Easy Rig, the easy rig comes with quick-release connectors that you simply screw into the bottom of the gimbal. It's the same hole that you screw the DJI's stand into. Hope this helps :)

    Hi,this is very informative video! However, as someone never use any kind of easyrig, I'm wondering is this going to put all the weight to your back or waist or legs. Because the easy rig seems syill works like a backpack. Which means the weight is still on back and waist. That's not what the operator want, we want the weight on hip and legs as much as possible, so I'm consider easy rig and tilts float. Because the float seems weight free from waist and above. But the down side is you will need dji rs2 or 3 for it's most potential.

    • @HeyAdamGrasso
      @HeyAdamGrasso  Год назад

      Hey Leon. Thanks :) The weight is all distributed to the waist/hips/thighs, not your back. So your upper and lower back + your shoulder get a lot of the strain and weight taken off them.

    • @HeyAdamGrasso
      @HeyAdamGrasso  2 года назад +1

      Hey Tayo. It's reliable. You just have to watch out for the quick release that you attach on the gimbal, cause if you don't tighten it up properly, as you use the gimbal it will slowly get looser and looser. Meaning that it can eventually unscrew itself from the gimbal. So just make sure that you tighten it to the RS2 properly, ideally with a wrench/spanner so it's as tight as possible before use.
