    I have the Minimax as well and I also picked up the EasyTilt attachment. It makes a world of difference in your shot selection when using a gimbal ring.

    Thanks for this video! I have a S1H rigged out with V-Mount, Follow Focus and everything, weighs a little over 7kg (15lbs). Could be 8Kg when I attach a Mattebox to it.
    Do you think the Minimax will handle it? I'm interested in the Minimax Stabil Light

      @@JustinPhillip Thanks buddy, gives me more confidence to throw down cash for something I was only half considering before. (Still somewhat considering going shoulder mount, but... you're like... stuck at that height, whereas with the easyrig, you can switch from high to low pretty easily. Good stuff.)

    What kind of Ready Rig version is that?
    I own the Ready Rig GS and the VEGA version. Looks different with me. Even the short bungee cord looks way too short.

    Just ordered a minimax. I realised it was only a few hundred pounds more than the fly cam. I was fed up with everything I own being some sort of Chinese derivative and fancied a nice bit of gear that should last and not go out of date. I’ve learnt the hard way - buy cheap, buy twice. Also realised hanging my 10k 7kg camera off a bit of string attached to a knock off might not be the wisest move.

    Which is the one that has the quick release hook ? It's sold out on b and h . Is that the same as the easy rig quick release that's $150

      @@creativegreats6924 all EasyRigs come stock with the normal hook release system, which can be referred to as a Quick Release. But what i'm talking about is this: bhpho.to/36AiTFX

    In my honest opinion, the gimbal is waaaay overused these days. I’m a handheld kinda guy myself. Keep up the great content bro!

      Agreed. Almost all my shots are on sticks and when I do need a moving shot I do dollies or handheld and sometimes steadicam.

      Hate gimbals, handheld is the way to go alongside of tripods for some shots

      @@BransenPass Would a steadicam work with like a big ol' 13-15 pound rig with a looong zoom lens? And I wonder if somehow an easyrig could be used in conjunction with the a steadicam... hmm... probably not I guess, but maybe?

    I think you need to put more weight on your easyrig Komodo Rig. It has a bunch of micro jitters. The reason that handheld Alexa footage looks so good is because it's heavy. Love your videos!!

      It was used but compared to my minimax, not at all the same qulity

      @@damiensantillan6125 Thanks a lot! Every opinion really helps me make my decision. I may try to score an easy rigged used or at a discount, but I think it'll be worth it for me at around $1,000 maybe.
