No, you need a blacklight for UV Paint.
@@UVBlackLights Yeah, I have one. I’m talking about once the light has shined off of the paint does it still show in the regular light for a couple minutes? I have UV powder and it does that and I don’t really like it
No, it doesn’t. Glow in the dark paint will do that though.
@@UVBlackLights What brand would you recommend? You seem like the expert. I learned not to use powder. On Amazon I just bought: Glow Authority UV Black Light Invisible Ink, Montana Cans Montana Effect 400 ml Color, Uv Transparent Spray Paint, SIX Color UV Reactive Fluorescent Invisible Neutral Acrylic Paint Set- 1/2oz pots.
The project is having a UV substance on something where you’re unable to tell that anything is there unless you take UV light towards it. The powder definitely didn’t work, but I’d you’re able to help out I’d greatly appreciate it. Love your videos bro! You have been a big help in my art. Seriously, videos like this are a big help as I'm always trying to push the boundaries of light and paint. Right now one of my biggest struggles is getting just the right light. I have a fairly Large garage space with limited outlets and need to find a way to brighten it up with the black light while painting and displaying. Any recommendations on something that won't make me cry when I look at the price tag?

@@UVBlackLights I would probably once I'm done dealing with my current situation, be willing and possibly able to invest a few hundred dollars. it just may be a little bit. I'm just trying to get pointers ahead of time period and yes, I would like to flood the garage with black light.
@@nothinglefttodobutpaintcha4244 Few hundred bucks can possibly get you a couple quality Wildfire fixtures, which should be enough to flood a standard 2 car garage. If you want to go the 400nm black light route then you can get quite a few black lights for your total budget.

I just have to deal with the current situation, overcome a few minor major obstacles, then once I got the money, I want to be able to make art like never before with lighting better than I ever had. I have a question, for part of my Christmas display, I have been tasked with creating a walk through area with plants and flowers made with lights. Now, I have the flower part figured out, but the GREEN stem part I'm struggling with. I do not want lights for the stem, but rather one solid green stem made from 1/4" steel round stock or maybe wood dowels that glows green and thick enough to been seen. I started looking into green paint that glows under black light, but I know NOTHING about this at all. My thought was to paint the stems green and have several low to the ground black lights aimed at the stems to create the glowing effect. There will be around 300 to 400 stems spaced around 12 to 18 inches apart. Any suggestions or pointing me in a general direction for paint and lights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and keep up the great work.
For any serious projects, I would always recommend Wildfire Lighting. They are the industry leader in black light paint and blacklights.
Hello can you make a video on how to make the color Nike uses on the sole and can only see the purplish color in black light. Or do you know where I can get that color ?
I’m not sure what the color of Nike is. The purplish color on the blacklight is a 400nm blacklight.

Can I use it for outdoors?
I don’t recommend it, it won’t last very long cause of the UV from the sun will beat on it too hard.

@@matrixmom3300 You can yes, but you'll definitely need the Sheen Leveler to cover the clear white. Otherwise you'll see the glossy look of the clear white paint.
Thoughts re best UV reactive “rattle can” brand?
Unfortunately, I haven't really played around with those.
@@UVBlackLights many sadnesses, seems no one (on RUclips) has really. Next Halloween I’m planning on recreating Oogie Boogie’s lair on the front lawn; can’t be wasting time with small batches of paint. Would love to find gallons I can send through an HVLP or Airless.
@@charleshetrick3152 Gallons in the Phosphorescent Glow Green will work perfectly for that.
Montana "Black" spraypaint has recently updated thier flourescent paints to a new formula which is said to have better coverage
