Great L322 transformation. Even small touches updated the look a lot. Not sure if you have already done but interior & exterior led bulb retrofit upgrade may worth to consider.
I'd limit myself to paint refresh, Bi-LED headlight upgrade using the original nests and upgrading the infotainment to a CarPlay unit. To each their own!
Hello there! I have a white L322.. and previous owner had done some of the " upgrades" you did, including the Autobiography grille and side grilles.. and I went and changed them back, to bring back the old look! I even managed to find a set of original rims painted black to replace the 22" inch ones previous owner used.. Now closer to original, but still with more modern looking wheels. I guess different looks for different people! Looking for a roof rack now, but something a bit more minimalist I think.. Anyway, good to see an L322 still running and being loved and cared for (even if I don't like the style of the grilles 🙂).
I had to check that it was the same car. The black accents make the whole car look black. I ran into this while restoring my Range Rover Softdash as it now has body colored wheels. I just got a 2012 L322 in Baltic Blue but decided to keep the accents in silver. Your car came out very nice.
@@morten_hannesbo Buckingham Blue? I think the lighting on your filming day had something to do with the darkness. I love JLR dark blues, but some of them need direct sunlight for them to really shine:) My 95 is Oslo Blue which is a little lighter than Baltic. Great job on the restoration, I start my L322 restoration today after I get her back from the mechanic (gaskets, belts, fuel injectors, spark plugs, all coolant components etc.)
Love the build. I feel like the rock slders are too unrefined and agricultural compared to lines of the truck. Only my opinion though. Great job on everything else though. Such a classic shape
@@venturamediaqld I do not disagree about the rock sliders but I did want something rugged. I consider changing to Pirelli Scorpion all terrain tyres to finish the job😃
Nice to see others showing L322’s love! So you have the L460 and the L322? Not bad at all and hello from Luzern. My 4.2 SC L322 is going through similar transformations now that I’ve all but caught up on over due maintenance items
The towbars are easy to remove, get a block of wood and a hammer, remove the pin and clip and just knock the sides and it will come free!! Pull it out and you can get an original Land Rover rubber bung to put in the hole and you never know a towbar was there!!! 😊
@@morten_hannesbo it’s not actually! It’s very easy too! I have 3 L322’s and have installed the original tow bars myself twice and no ramps or lifts needed! Slide rear bumper cover off, unbolt the rear crash bar from inside the boot, undo 2 exhaust hangers, lift up towbar frame and bolt crash bar back on over it, then 2 large bolts either side inside boot, attach exhaust hangers to towbar frame then slide bumper cover back on! Takes about 2 hours. The loom is also plug and plug! Hope this helps!
@@Craig-c5e These tree sliders need a bit more work. Bigger holes need to be drilled and part of the inner wheel arch needs to be cut away. The installation will take a skilled person 2-3 hrs.
Absolutely lovely L322. Tasteful mods and paint and interior look superb. Money well spent. I just had mine painted (Zambezi silver) as the rear arches were starting to rust and it’s made a huge difference. Got a set of original 20 inch 7 spoke alloys to refurbish next. I’ll be going the Scorpion route too
Hi. Nice job on the paint job. But... in my opinion it's not an elegant work. To repaint everything in black is to ruin the design. Why destroy an elegant car, by change the badged to black? thats is sad to see. Unfortunately you did a remake, where the only market is drug dealer, pimps, ganster rapper or even worser, people who don't have any good taste. Sorry to see this.

@@mariotraversi479 👍Enjoy your L322 - peak Range Rover!
I am thinking to buy myself an old Range, and you bring it closer to the final. :) Great job. Sliders are super cool.
Looks fantastic! I just got an l320 and super excited to see a Swiss based car enthusiast
Very nice looking Rangey 👍🏻
Nice mods 🚜🤩 the paint looks fab but was way to expensive.

Hi Morten. Very interesting what a difference the all day valet/clean made. The leather came back to new, I suppose and smells great? Nice updates.

how do you get your leather to be that clean all these time?
@@herbertwong6007 The leather was in good condition from begin with. My son cleaned the interior using Swissvax products and it took him 4-5 hours.

I’m not sure the autobiography grille looks much different at all to be honest.

It was such a beautiful car with a perfect base to make it shine again and now afterwards it looks like a Turkish Arab pimp car 😢

Ok - well, this is our overlander and mountain hut vehicle so it needs to be a bit more rugged. For nights in town we use our L460
