    My beloved #2 (2006) is set to hit 350,000 MILES within this week. Not without much time and care but still the best car in the world. Original engine, transmission, and still on air suspension

    Great video! Thanks for sharing. I'm in love with the first L322 from 2002-2005. I love its design since I first saw it on the road and next year I'm finally going to buy a good one (at least, I hope 😊).

    Number 1 looks sleek, but interior and techwise number 5. I've just hit sub and hope for more rr content. Maybe something about adaptive dynamics suspension in l322?

    Definitiely prefer either 1 or 2 style grilles.. If I'm honest I actually prefer Nr 1, but Nr 2 is the more capable and reliable car with the TDV8 and 6 speed gearbox, and therfore the one I own.. but the square lines of the original are hard to beat.. pity it's gearbox was such an abominable failure.. Mine is on 330,000 km (and whatever that is in miles..) and though showing it's age, with a few niggles here and there, and every trip to the mechanic leading to a hefty transplant from my wallet, still an absolute pleasure to drive.

    All cars whatever the make have issues, most are caused by missed or shoddy services, bodged repairs and owners ignoring the tell tail signs or sounds of an issue starting to show. I own a P38 range rover and now i have fixed the problems caused by the previous owner trying to bodge repairs by spending 50p it is as reliable as any car i have ever owned, still on AIR suspension and original V8 engine, 197,800 miles i would confidently take it to anywhere across europe and back to blighty.

    Our 2007 was magic until a blower motor repair at 78K miles cost nearly 30% of the cars value to repair. Thought it was time let it go before something else went wrong, probably a mistake.

    • @MikeyLikesCars
      @MikeyLikesCars  6 месяцев назад +3

      That's definitely a costly repair. 2007 is probably my favorite year - that updated interior too. All model years still look great after all these years though. Actually, all model full-size Range Rovers still look great. Like many Ferrari, Aston Martins, Jags - all Range Rovers seem to age very well into gorgeous classics.

      Range Rovers have issues, but they rarely stop. I've had the Classics, P38A and now a 2008 L322 TDV8. This one is a very good car. Very reliable, doesn't use oil or water, better to drive than most new cars, safe and just unrivalled in Norwegian winterconditions when the weather gets rough.
