    Yes,.... you showed me 2 options I didn't know about, the suspension remote and reverse lights. I already have the Gap IId tool, expensive but invaluable piece of kit. Thanks for the video.

      Hi Neil, thanks for the feedback, we're really glad you're enjoying our videos! 👍🏻 We found a way, but it would cost money. You would have to communicate with the manufacturer, change the VIN for the day, unlock all the modifications, and then lock it back to the first vehicle. But it would still be way cheaper than buying a new GAP tool. If I'm correct, it would be about £30 but please don't quote me on it because I could be wrong with the price!

    My girlfriends landlord has a 2012 RR HSE Lux with 55k miles on it sitting on the lot, said she was looking to sell it. It’s been sitting outside for 6 months.
    Got some damage on the drivers side door and the windshield needs replaced, little bit of dry rot on the tires. Want to take it to a shop to get a general check up on it to see what would need fixed.
    My question for you is, besides jumping the battery, what would I need to do before turning the car on and then what would I need to do to make sure the car could make a one hour drive to a the shop? Could get it towed, buuuuuttttt it’s at the top of a mountain and would be very difficult for a tow truck to make it up.
    I understand that’s kinda a loaded question, but anything helps really. Your videos have been a great resource so far, and your channel is awesome dude.
    Could potentially be a good video to make too! “How to start your L322 after it’s been sitting for an extended amount of times” 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️
    Keep rockin on brother!

      Charge the battery, inflate tyres to correct pressure, check oil level, and Coolant level. Ensure you have some fuel. Start up. Check lights. Check bakes. Carefully drive away…

      Hi! Thank you so much for your comment and positive feedback, I'm so glad our videos have been helpful and valuable to you! Thank you for all your support! 😊
      To be honest with you, I would say check the oil, coolant, brake fluid, and make sure the tyres are inflated. Test the brakes before committing with the journey to the garage (try to do emergency stops and see how the car reacts). I hope all goes well, keep me updated! 👍🏻

    Having experimented on mine:
    1. Window control doesn't work.
    2. Suspension control doesn't work as shown, it will raise from lowest to normal, but will not lower.
    3. My windows do not open from the remote.
    Strange these things don't work the same as yours.
    Do you know these: 1. On rear windows, if you quick push the window button, they lower just a little, for ventilation. 2. On the fronts, if you lower the window all the way, then hold the button up to raise the window but keep holding it for 5s, you have then enables one click full open and close.

    The drip wipe was standard on the P38s.

    • @lifeasusual
      @lifeasusual  4 месяца назад

      I didn't know that, thanks for sharing! Someone else also mentioned that it's standard on L322 as well, but for some reason on mine, it wasn't. So when I got the GAP tool, I had to turn on the feature.

    My L320 wasn't equipped with a motor tailgate but seemed ready to fit in. So I added the two motors I connected to the rear module and the switch. No modifications were needed, it was plug-and-play. No way I was able to make it work. Something similar you went through you can advice? Thanks, I appreciate your videos!!

    • @lifeasusual
      @lifeasusual  4 месяца назад +1

      Hi Jack, I've never owned an L320, so I'm not too sure, and in the L322, there's no motor. Sorry I can't be of further help! Thank you so much for your positive feedback, it makes me really happy that you're finding the videos valuable! 😊👍🏻

    Do the daytime running lights still work if the light switch is on automatic?

  • @TorontoL322
    @TorontoL322 4 месяца назад +1

    I decided against enabling the follow me home reverse lights. I have found it confusing in the past when someone has pulled into a parking space and turned their engine off, only for their reverse lights to come on... I don't know if they are reversing or parked, and I am sat there in my car waiting for them to move... only for it to turn out to be their follow me home lights... I wouldn't want to confuse others like that.
