Honestly 3 years ago I’d have hated the idea of separating campaign from multiplayer, but now I think they should just release a single player Halo on its own, and have a separate multiplayer experience that’s not weighed down by the campaigns mechanics. Give us an amazing Doom Eternal level of quality campaign and I think most people would be happy.
I recall halo 3 ppl being a little salty when they tried to separate with the mythic map pack and even halo 4 just with the disc installs or something but I agree now it’s worthwhile for the revitalization of the game… and that quality would be so amazing for a new installation (pun intended) of a halo open world!!!
nah, just make a good game. Their issue isn’t traditional levels. We had 3 games that did that and still fail. 343 issue is making a good game open world or not.
Yeah, I like the open world, because I can do stuff besides the main missions, but then I procrastinate and get all the side stuff before the excavation site
My hope is that the game continues straight from Infinite. I remember people saying that Infinite felt like the first game in a new "true" trilogy and I want it to be true.
Knowing 343, they'll just drop the Endless entirely for another new threat. Didact? Dropped. Evil Cortana? Dropped. Endless will likely wind up the same. They'll invent a new threat. Call them the Eternal or the Forever or whatever. And then they'll drop them as well for Halo 8.
@@bcsbwhat do you mean “didact dropped”? Master chief fucking killed him lmao. You as the player press the button to do that. The only thing they actually dropped in a lame way was cortana
My only hope for 'Halo 7' is they've learned there lessons and will put the story in the hands of someone who cares about it. I feel like the last time we saw any hints of passion for halo as a story was weirdly Halo Wars 2 and it wasn't enough. Admittedly, their marketing team did amazing at advertising Infinite for what we actually got
Alright so give me Arbiter, give me Rtas ‘Vadum and while you’re at it resurrect Tartarus and bring him back and then boom we’ve got ourselves a perfect campaign.
God I want the Arby/Rtas duo back so bad, I wish they'd do something with the Shadow of Intent, it's been 9 years since we heard from Rtas and the crew
I low-key wish you were in charge of some of the story direction at 343, you are so in tune with what the community enjoys about halo lore and some of your theories would be great starting points for great halo stories.
343 has fubar'ed the lore, really. The Primordial / gravemind's plans to 'test' humanity later with a massive outbreak that we can only earn the mantle by defeating is pretty contradictory to "ackshully it was meant for the Endless all along".
"There is valid reason to believe mendicant could be in the next halo campaign" Xperia I gotta be honest I think your love for him makes you find valid reasons at this point
I can see us also going to the Endless’ homeworld. The Endless could teleport Zeta Halo to their home for some major reason. Spend the first 2 acts on Zeta Halo, and the 3rd act is set on the Endless’ homeworld.
17:39 It just dawned on me that they could make a whole game about having to board a derelict or rediscovered Infinity. Could be similar to ODST where you have to discover what happened as you go. There are multiple decks. Heck, there might even be different environments.
If the endless are actually "worse than the flood" then im dropping the series for good tbh. I've spent like 15 minutes trying to put into words how much that would piss me off and how fucking stupid it would be, but i genuinely can't describe it. I've read over 30 novels and played every game but that would actually stop me from caring about halo anymore. It's so fucking stupid, even for 343.
I understand this frustration, but I would say it is a matter of strategy. A Gravemind is the greatest danger anyone can see face to face, but we saw in the trilogy that By facing only the forms of combat, we managed to get through everything we went through. Harbinger was an enemy that Chief had difficulty dealing with, unlike a group of Flood's combat forms. And with Harbinger having access and ability to modify Forerruner technology, I still wouldn't say it's worse. The expression "worst" is very misused to describe the Endless. But with them being able to tamper with Forerruner technology without difficulty, I think they are more dangerous. We saw that even the Flood feared Truth. Imagine what beings can use technologies that would make Infinity weak
@@LvUrFR3NZ-a-CrazyDiamondthat’s still lazy writing, To just invent a new bad guy that’s bigger and badder than the last bad guy. So much of the halo franchise’s story and lore hinges on the fact that the flood were the be all end all big bad of the universe.
Exactly. 343 could write a new faction capable of making you explode by just staring at you. That would be unbeatable and far worse than facing anything else simply because you would have no chance whatsoever. In other words, it's technically possible to constantly create a new, bigger, badder villain. But still, that wouldn't make it right. We don't need it. We need good storytelling. At this point, Halo faces the same horrible fate as the MCU. After Thanos, what we needed was only street level dangers. Emotionally charged dilemmas. A slow build up towards a clear, dangerous, oppositional force, even if not trying to be worse than... killing half the universe. What we got instead was multiverse nonsense. Because they felt they needed to go bigger or go home. Same with Infinite. Both cases, a total failure. We only needed the banished as what remains of the covenant, post - covenant religion. A grounded story. The endless are... the worst thing that could have happened to the plot going forwards. Yes, worse than Cortana's feet I MEAN fate.
@@IsuiGtz let us not forget about Star Wars too, how disneys answer to the Death Star was a fleet of ships that have Death Star capability, single-handedly destroying everyone’s investment in the story (if tlj hadn’t already done that)
Imagine an announcement trailer with the banished troopers preparing for the freedom of the endless and then it zooms in on chief with everything fading besides 7 and then the halo title appears
I wish I could still have so much hope and excitement for future Halo like Xperia does. I think he knows most of us have lost hope, but it is still a little thrilling to watch all of these theory videos. Who knows, maybe if the next installment is extremely lackluster, or we don't get a new one at all, perhaps we can consider these theories to be canon in our own world just to satisfy our fantasies :3
All this is cool and all, but it’s coming up to 20 years since Halo 3 released. It’s about time we got a remaster of what many regard as the best Halo game.
On the topic of who will the banished side with: they could very well pull a MW shadow company and have them be an individual/third party faction. Basically both the UNSC and banished fighting the endless, but also them fighting eachother. This could very well lead to Atriox being the primary antagonist of 7, with the ending creating a Segway that can see the endless returning again in 8 as the main villains. And at that point, maybe banished forces will be scattered with some trying to help humanity and others going their separate ways or helping the harbinger.
My wishlist for the perfect Halo game in the order I think of them: 1. Make the open world "open areas" instead (something like what The Witcher 3 did) with different biomes 2. Bring back the Arbiter as a main character 3. Bring back Lord Hood and Lasky 4. The Flood returns 5. Atriox VS Chief and Arbiter (after what he did to Chief, I doubt either one could take him on alone) 6. Scarab battles! 7. Finally introduce Mendicant and Offensive Bias and elaborate on the Forerunner-Flood war in the games 8. The Forerunners return and seeing them operate Forerunner tech and ships in real time. 9. Big naval battles with Forerunner ships VS Flood-infected Forerunner ships or Endless ships (assuming they have any) 10. Acknowledge the Precursors and explain what they are in the games That's about all I can think of off the top of my head but if all of this is in the next Halo game and done well, I'll forgive 343i for everything
Story-wise, I agree with pretty much all of those. But seeing as you said perfect game, not story, I'd say things like being a whole game at launch is more important.
@@ALLMINDmercenarysupportsystem That's fair but to me, the multiplayer is always second priority. Halo's story is what I play these games for. Don't get me wrong, if a multiplayer Halo experience is good, it will make me stick around, like Halo 3 and Reach for example. I have thousands of hours in those 2 games combined that was spent mostly in multiplayer but if the story sucks, I think the game sucks because to me, Halo is about the story
@theunderdog9353 I agree, but Halo's multiplayer is a massive part of its appeal and its past popularity, along with having the majority of the content. I could not say a Halo game was good if it had the best campaign ever but a horrendous multiplayer, even though I primarily play the campaign.
@@ALLMINDmercenarysupportsystem Sure, but the campaign is what made Halo famous in the first place and has always been the main marketing tool. It is rooted in the franchise's DNA, as far as the literal name. That's why, even though I enjoy MP, I wouldn't give a rat's ass if it was horrendous if it meant having a campaign that's even better than Halo 2's. Again though, just my opinion 🤷🏻♂️
No more Flood and FFS can we get a game taking place during the Human-Covenant War before 2552? And no, not Harvest (there's already an entire novel on that).
I really like the ideas you fleshed out here, and I hope that 343 takes these kinds of speculations into account. I'd really love to see a rich backdrop where we can develop chief as more of a character, and hopefully spend time in other people's shoes like the arbiter or other prominent humans. The relationships between these characters are something I'd like to see more of in the games as well
I remember finishing Halo 2 seeing there was seven rings at the end and being excited that there’d be at least 7 more Halo games! I was just a kid and me and my friend just finished the campaign being excited already for the next game.
I’ve never understood the fixation on the mantle it’s like not a physical or tangible thing right is just taking the idea or responsibility to protect the galaxy right so who cares who claims it even if they have it if you don’t have full control over the galaxy which no one in halo is at that point
I’ve been thinking the same thing. Every lore person talks about characters wanting the Mantle but I still don’t understand what that actually means. It seems like they’re all just chasing after a meaningless title. I hope I’m wrong cuz that’s really dumb character motivation
@@Zeta4 I’m big into lore but not super deep into but everything I’ve seen it just seems like a title and having it would do nothing on its own it makes no sense it like saying with responsibility comes great power
It really is just that. The Precursors intended that it go to humanity in the first place, so the Forerunners killed them to take their place as the dominant species of the galaxy. It's basically the concept of noblisse oblige on a galactic scale.
@@Calvin_Coolage the mantel is just to vague on certain details how does one even claim it, why is it species wide, and how does having the title bring about any power the precursor’s had it and the forerunners still ran them through.
@@thatoneguyyouthinkshouldbe2431 Right after I made that comment, I saw another person here bring up Halo Epitaph. In that book, the mantle is explained as kind of a test or something, it's just that the Forerunners thought it was a title to claim. Idk, I'd need to read/listen to it. Much as I'm checked out of Halo lore since Infinite, it's about the Didact and I find him very interesting.
I definitely still think they should hire a separate studio to work on a spin off like halo reach where you have your customized spartan and a story that will hit as hard or harder than reach ( kinda like a hopeless story of a stranded spartan or smth)
Theory: Locke didn't die to Hyperius and he was able to escape. Hyperius just took his helmet as a trophy and Locke is with the arbiter and we will see Locke when we eventually run into and team up with the swords of sanghelious
I can also imagine it as a farewell game. Like in the beginning of the campaign you play as Master chief finding as many people as possible on the ring and then he get a distress beacon from a Spartan when he goes and recovers the Spartan your playable character switches from master chief to the unknown Spartan. From there you go on a quest with the chief splitting up most of the time to get the endless sealed and atriox defeated. In the midst of the battle between chief and atriox the chief is leathaly wounded and you step in to finish what he started, defeating atriox and sealing the endless, the chief is wounded to the point of retirement leaving you with the ai he had ending the series and maybe beginning a new? Idk just my thoughts on how another way it could go lol
1. Playable arbiter 2. Flood 3. Reworked Prometheans 4. Hardlight/promethean weapons are hard counters to flood 5. Halo wars stuff like flood forms 6. Don't leave it unfinished like infinite where 343 made it intending to continue it for dlc that never came.
Medicant Bias, I think, is the #1 story i want to be told in Halo. Obviously, he's been teased since Halo 2. I believe Medicant, the Precursors, and Humanities' final test should be the story told next.
I’ll always be excited for halo, but I can’t help but think of what’s already been done to damage it. How many chances will 343i get to make a halo in the same tier of what Bungie made? Just look at the latest Star Wars trilogy. So many theories and hype from hints within the past, only to be ignored and tainted for the sake of creating something new. I think halo needs to just push forward with a clear cut, deep and deliberate story like halo 2, and just have all the lore built in the game cinematics and varied mission locations. 343 has to continue the story that came before instead of messing up creating something new for themselves. I’m just amazed how many chances Microsoft gave them. Sorry for the long comment, but I really do hope for the best and will always be passionate and defend halo after all these years. Thanks for creating such great content too X. Also, do you think that once 343 settle this story of the fight for the mantle and ‘true’ control of the galaxy, would it not be a cool idea and somewhat easy to either reintroduce the flood due to a breakout from fighting again, or have the peak of humanities forces and its alliances with the elites and maybe brutes fight against a massive invading flood threat from another galaxy controlled by another gravemind since it’s been so long to plan and wait for things to reach this point as it’s been in the past (fall of the forerunners and firing of the rings). Thanks again X, as well as to anyone who replies in advance.
I don't think they're going to be willing or able to recapture the "Bungie magic" - the best I'd hope for is a side-story a la Reach/ODST and set during the Human/Covenant war. Otherwise, I think they've written and retconned themselves into such a corner that I just can't see them recapturing the stakes of the OG Halo trilogy. I really wanted the flood to make an appearance in Halo Infinite. The whole "Endless" thing that they went with has totally failed to capture my interest, unfortunately.
Seeing as how "Bungie magic" is a myth. Every halo post ce got hate during their release. So quite frankly I should be used to this by now. It's just the cod cycle again, but for halo. I just wish 343 had the ambition bungie did have for their projects. That's what stuck out to me most about bungie. How much content and levels had to be cut or condensed because of overambition and technology not being capable enough.
Ive always said they should do a halo 7 and halo wars 3 in one game. You can play the FPS campaign first and then unlock the RTS. For a third playthrough you are allowed to play in chronological order and swap between RTS and FPS levels and have added cutscenes. (Plus obviously a super special legendary one)
@@andyfriederichsenI'd love to see it, but I'll be honest I don't think 343 has the talent to make it work. Microsoft purged a massive amount of their staff . Dream world though I'd love to see a mode and/or campaign missions where one player plays fps and a co op player plays the rts version. The rts player clears the way and brings in reinforcements for the fps player who fights with the forces brought in and a competent ai squad of Spartans to support.
@@andyfriederichsen no thanks, if i buy a halo fps game i dont want to be randomly shoved into an rts mission. halo wars was fun but id rather have them be separate
I love all of these ideas, unfortunately i feel like 343 would try another soft-core reboot again so some of these deeper cuts will probably have to stay obscure for a little while longer
It would be so cool if at the beginning of Halo 7 we got cutscenes showing what happens to the characters we miss out in in the beginning of infinite. I know he was largely disliked, but what if one of those cutscenes is Locke running into Hyperius. The fight is brutal with Locke getting tossed around as Hyperius strips and bashes parts of his armor off. Locke comes to his senses and realizes he won’t win this fight. So he runs away with what little armor he has left and uses the few thrusters he has left to evade Hyperius. Only to end up in a forest hiding behind logs and boulders while Hyperius menacingly calls him out and destroys trees where he thinks Locke might be hiding. Locke could end up escaping somehow. That would be kind of cool
The one thing the new games lack is the feel of being in a massive battle for humanity. The reason I loved Bungie Halo is because you really felt like you were part of large scale operations with huge assets that can help you. It wasn’t a story where you are on your own. My favourite mission was the one from halo 3 where your in the sand and the massive ship comes down and drops off tanks and whatever else you could possibly ask for. That was so cool for me. Now I feel like it’s just me driving around and doing like such specific things rather then just defending a city or something, or even halo reach where you are working together with command and are following orders. I want it to go back to that.. but idk how they would ever do that now
Funny, I used to look up Halo 7 even after the release of Halo 5: Guardians. I don't know why, or how I thought of a strange idea. Now, here I am watching HiddenXperia talk about Halo 7. You just blew my mind!
I feel like the Endless may be Precursors who may have split from the majority of the Precursors before the Forerunners overthrew them. The Precursor faction named themselves in reference to their plan to let themselves be replaced by one of their creations, while the Endless named themselves after their belief that they should retain the mantle for all time
Would you ever do a video covering all the cannon armors in Halo infinite? I know a lot of them are reach pieces that you’ve covered before but it would be interesting to hear about everything else
You aren't thinking like 343, my man. Atriox will get killed in an unplayable cutscene in the first 10 minutes of the campaign, and the rest of the Banished will be destroyed offscreen (along with Atriox himself if we don't see him get killed), while Chief (and ONLY Chief) does whatever with something that's never been mentioned before, and our alien friends won't be invited to the party. The Endless/Xalanyn story will get wrapped up in a Kelly Gay novel released a few years later.
They also need to not contract out work. It's not worth it and I don't understand why Microsoft doesn't understand that. You'd think that investors and Microsoft would have understood that halo 5 and infinite didn't benefit from contracting out work. Microsoft could throw as much money as they wanted at the next halo and it wouldn't even be a drop in their bucket...
Well with 343 track record of not continuing the campaign storylines. My personal prediction: The storyline jumps 3-5 years. The Banished gets destroyed off screen and obscured story of they got “wiped out” is all we get. The Endless somehow vanish to never be seen again. Zeta Halo is forgotten from the story. We end up on a random planet or ship for the story. We’re then left with a new random enemy. Something like a mad Forerunner AI, makes itself look like a robotic Prophets. Convincing remnants of the covenant to reunite. In order to test, if humanity is the true in inheritors of the mantle of responsibility? But that’s my prediction.
It would be cool to see fireteam Osiris has been with SoS this whole time while cheif has been dealing with the banished. Considering vale was with arbiter.
holy moly an arbiter/swords of sanghelios/the shipmaster of shadow of intent who im forgetting the name of souls-like would be CRAZY im living for it. esp while reading outcasts
I hope we get a single player only Halo game. That way we could have a huge campaign which isn’t held back by budget due to needing to have a huge multiplayer mode as well.
even bungie has teased the potential to meet mendicant bias, possibly offensive bias too, in a game. when the flood brought high charity to the ark. i dont know how many pieces of mendicant bias there are, it could be 2, it could be 3. it could be more. however if it was only 2, then that wouldve been the first time that mendicant bias would be in one place at the same time since the firing of the rings, but what i do find strange is that i dont remember the gravemind ever talking about 2 ai constructs in the system, but cortana mentioned that there was a far more advanced ai pushing against her, just once, something that has been proven to be a fragment of mendicant bias. so we know that cortana has met mendicant bias, and we know that cortana chose to stay behind to use the in amber clad as a bomb to blow up high charity, something she never got a chance to do. we know cortana though, she is smart enough to give herself an opportunity to blow up high charity herself, regardless of her being there or not. I think she was protecting mendicant bias. i think it happened shortly after cortana mentioned a much stronger AI in the covenant battlenet. and im sure even a fragment of a forerunner AI would be able to overwhelm cortana pretty easily, but thats not what happened. after she mentioned it, she didnt mention anything about anymore issues navigating through high charity's networks after that, and in fact didnt even mention another presence in the system after that. even though she can, and has killed other AI, I dont think she can overpower mendicant. i dont think she would want to once she knows what exactly mendicant is. I wonder if she let the gravemind infect her to give mendicant bias the chance to escape. she knows how to interface with forerunner, covenant and human systems, and we know that mendicant bias was reaching out to the chief seeking redemption. I think cortana gave mendicant the chance to potentially become whole again. theres also the fact that we got a story with the didact at the tower that we know as epitaph and citadel, which we also know is on the ark and where another piece of mendicant bias is stored. once both fragments can access the arks network, they would surely become one, unless, assuming there are only 2 pieces of mendicant bias, the ark is preventing mendicant from becoming whole on its own, and needs an outside force to allow that to happen. like the master chief, or maybe another human. or forerunner.
Whatever we get from the 7th game, we know one thing for sure. 343 will fuck it up. I would love spinoffs, but the only problem is Infinite will be like 7-8 years old by the time that game comes out and like 12-13 years old by the time they did Halo 7. They take so long to make games even with a full studio, never mind the skeleton crew they’re left with now
This sounds like it can be a 40 - 80 hour campaign if written by competent writers and if it includes many factions, significant figures, and characters. Hopefully with the new leadership in 343, we get SOMETHING.
Have missions where you play as chief and blue team on zeta halo, another as Jerome and red team on the ark, aswell as arbiter and the sword of sanghelios taking on the flood. That would be my dream
Its is absolutely crazy how much potential the halo franchise has and how perfectly the next game is set up to be one of the best halo games ever yet it will be many years before we see anything of it
I'd love to see a completely fresh take on a spinoff. How cool would it be to step into the shoes of Forthencho in the buildup to--and finally engaging in--the battle of Charum Hakkor?
I know that ONI is in pieces but it ISN'T destroyed because the new head of ONI that replaced Parangosky ended up on that world with Hood. I think I remember it also being a Halo Fractures story that mentions this. The new head of ONI is Serin Osman who is a Spartan 2 washout. I think it would be cool to get her and her personal squad Kilo-Five in a game even if its just for a cutscene because they have another Spartan 2, Naomi, that it would be cool to see interact with Master Chief/Red Team
It would be fantastic if they found a way to reintroduce characters from both Halo 5 and Halo Wars 2. Picture being able to assemble your team much like in Halo 3 and 5. Player 1 could take on the role of Chief, Player 2 could be Jerome, Arbiter, or Fred, and Player 3 could choose between Blue or Purple Elite, along with other Spartans and allies. Including past characters from earlier games feels like a no-brainer; it's frustrating to see them introduced only to be sidelined later on.
I want there in some way be a need for the storyline (especially in great detail in book-form) for say some reformation of what-else be needed for the domain perhaps, (not the bit I am most focused on), but for the story to go to the Maethrillian, specifically; the mysterium, and for the characters to remove the dead-bolt device that seems to have worked as a lock-down/prevention mechanism of Abaddon, the precursor AI that was tasked as an overseer of the domain by the precursors. (In my opinion, since the POV of the characters in "promises to keep" was forerunner, and Abaddon reacted agressively against the forerunners in that story due to the forerunners complete violation of the mantle of responsebility by destroying all life by firing the halo array, Abaddon's reaction doesn't seem all that unusual, for it to wanting to render a sentence against the forerunners, "why not back when the precursors was almost wiped out 10m years ago?" the forerunners went after only the precursors, while a crime against the mantle, those who chased the precursors all the way to path kathona did in the end seek penitence for their acts, Abaddon was probably not tasked as an active observer since it's creation, but lacking any remaining precursors who could guide it, Abaddon realized that until a new species could rise to hold the mantle, that Abaddon would have to render judgement for the sake of the mantle against the forerunners.) so,, removing the dead-bolt and enabling Abaddon to once again reactivate, as ever since reading/listening/audiobook to that story, I always thought the precursor construct Abaddon to be such a great character to some day re-activate and for it to once again be active within the domain. "Why?" Hm, maybe, mayby Abaddon could serve not only as a caretaker of the domain, but also to enabling humans to connect to the domain itself, though not as a character but more like as a "gentle breeze" steering those humans who do some meditation and in some manner realize they have entered the domain, for thar "gentle breeze" to help thep take their first steps within the endless halls of knowledge that makes up the domain. (My knowledge base is up-to and including the latest book, "epithath") ..In the end, all sweetness.
I just want a halp RPG away from the Main story line playing as a spartan you created and some tragic thing happens and you get an A.I in the process who plays our version of cortana.
This better be halo 7’s story. It is 343’s last real attempt at correcting all of halo to be a final style battle that allows us to finish the fight! But also spin offs are going to be a necessity to continue the ip and if done right then halo will be making loads of monies from this
If the spin-offs are outsourced kinda like how halo wars was, I see no reason why the next game being a spin-off would delay halo 7. Also I still want that halo MMO
What if we're given a similar campaign to Halo 2, starting with The Chief in Zeta Halo and progressing with The Arbiter in the Arc!? That would be awesome, and a dream 😅😅
I got a bad feeling we will be getting the cut additional campaign content as our next campaign, and it will feel like under baked cut content rather than a proper game.
It's honestly refreshing to see theory/speculation videos for the future of Halo instead of the doom and gloom of Infinite's "why x cosmetic is overpriced". It seems like no one is even making Halo content period let alone positive/negative
We need a game taking place during the Human-Covenant War pre-2552 with the player being a marine or Army trooper with more realistic gameplay (yes, no shields (which Halo 3: ODST still had) and low-ranking elites not taking a billion bullets just to deplete their shields) and no Flood. Maybe like a Halo version of Battlefield, maybe with the player taking the role of different people throughout the campaign, maybe even pulling a page out of Battlefield 3 with a fighter/air support mission and a tank mission. It would also be a good opportunity to have some cool vehicles we haven't seen in the games, like APCs or IFVs.

Splitscreen? Multiplayer Campaign? I think that should be an option like the older games
Hell if we dont have multiplayer on launch like this game it will do just as badly. Halo is for mates in campaign not single players. @kinman3051
@@kinman3051 definetly.
they just mean how like Infinite has a campaign game, and a f2p multiplayer
I just hope they go back to traditional levels
And the flood should return rather than a small cameo
nah, just make a good game. Their issue isn’t traditional levels. We had 3 games that did that and still fail. 343 issue is making a good game open world or not.
Traditional levels and/or the Resident Evil 4/MGS2 style of 'linear open world' is my hope 🤞
Yeah, I like the open world, because I can do stuff besides the main missions, but then I procrastinate and get all the side stuff before the excavation site
😆 They won't. It's 343.
Agreed, like just give me that saga guys
Perhaps, I’m thinking that the game could take place a year after the events of Halo Infinite and perhaps, it can depict the Banished invading Earth.
I'd like to believe we'll get to have a SICK playable retelling of these events later.
The reason halo wars 2 had passion was because 343 didn’t make it.
Pro tip, there are usually no lessons learned this day and age
Bros on the video grind! Respect.
Alright so give me Arbiter, give me Rtas ‘Vadum and while you’re at it resurrect Tartarus and bring him back and then boom we’ve got ourselves a perfect campaign.

This all sounds amazing, which is why I think we won't get much of this in the game 😢
Brother we are like 3~4 years away from Halo 7.
HiddenXperia is running out of things to talk about, please be patient.
I can see us also going to the Endless’ homeworld. The Endless could teleport Zeta Halo to their home for some major reason. Spend the first 2 acts on Zeta Halo, and the 3rd act is set on the Endless’ homeworld.
343 really needs to hire you and other fans and stuff to work on the story
343 hates money, they would never
17:39 It just dawned on me that they could make a whole game about having to board a derelict or rediscovered Infinity. Could be similar to ODST where you have to discover what happened as you go. There are multiple decks. Heck, there might even be different environments.
Would need a fleshed out stealth system instead of being an infinite reskin like odst was to Halo 3.
They are 100% not doing any of this it is way to compex to do they have written themselves into a corner
In short, the expression "worst" is misused. They should say it's more dangerous
@@IsuiGtz let us not forget about Star Wars too, how disneys answer to the Death Star was a fleet of ships that have Death Star capability, single-handedly destroying everyone’s investment in the story (if tlj hadn’t already done that)
7 is a lucky number and luck is why Cortana picked Chief. So maybe we'll get lucky with Halo 7's campaign.

I hope Arbiter shows up in Halo 7.
abaddon looks like an endless/xalanyn tbh
My wishlist for the perfect Halo game in the order I think of them:
1. Make the open world "open areas" instead (something like what The Witcher 3 did) with different biomes
2. Bring back the Arbiter as a main character
3. Bring back Lord Hood and Lasky
4. The Flood returns
5. Atriox VS Chief and Arbiter (after what he did to Chief, I doubt either one could take him on alone)
6. Scarab battles!
7. Finally introduce Mendicant and Offensive Bias and elaborate on the Forerunner-Flood war in the games
8. The Forerunners return and seeing them operate Forerunner tech and ships in real time.
9. Big naval battles with Forerunner ships VS Flood-infected Forerunner ships or Endless ships (assuming they have any)
10. Acknowledge the Precursors and explain what they are in the games
That's about all I can think of off the top of my head but if all of this is in the next Halo game and done well, I'll forgive 343i for everything
Oh yeah!! bringing back the ICONIC OG theory videos back is so damn nostalgic reminds of the first time i found this channel back in 2016

Halo game centered around large-scale space combat when?
I really like the ideas you fleshed out here, and I hope that 343 takes these kinds of speculations into account. I'd really love to see a rich backdrop where we can develop chief as more of a character, and hopefully spend time in other people's shoes like the arbiter or other prominent humans. The relationships between these characters are something I'd like to see more of in the games as well
i really expected this vid to be older hahahah, i just looked for something to say what halo 7 will be like, didnt know someone just posted this
I remember finishing Halo 2 seeing there was seven rings at the end and being excited that there’d be at least 7 more Halo games!
Ooo I like the title of this video 👀
1. Playable arbiter
2. Flood
3. Reworked Prometheans
4. Hardlight/promethean weapons are hard counters to flood
5. Halo wars stuff like flood forms
6. Don't leave it unfinished like infinite where 343 made it intending to continue it for dlc that never came.
M rating too
Medicant Bias, I think, is the #1 story i want to be told in Halo.
I’ve been watching you for so long, I enjoy literally no joke at all, all of your videos. No one deserves hitting 600k more than you!
Or you could combine them and have the gameplay be a hybrid of RTS and FPS, maybe swapping between the two in whatever mission it is?
@@andyfriederichsenI'd love to see it, but I'll be honest I don't think 343 has the talent to make it work. Microsoft purged a massive amount of their staff . Pls give us flood next game
If it’s 343 again then it’s finished
I'm still waiting for 343 to come out with a halo 6 campaign.

Hello 👋
Hola
Hello there, congratz on first comment sir 🫡
80% of the Halo Fambase: “So, you think the Endless are neat?”
Me: “I do, and I’m tired of pretending i don’t.”
Well with 343 track record of not continuing the campaign storylines. My personal prediction:
The storyline jumps 3-5 years.
Whatever happens with the story, they need to hire HiddenXperia as a member on the storyboard!
holy moly an arbiter/swords of sanghelios/the shipmaster of shadow of intent who im forgetting the name of souls-like would be CRAZY im living for it. esp while reading outcasts
Every video you put out makes my day easier, thank you. This is the definition of comfort content :)
Have missions where you play as chief and blue team on zeta halo, another as Jerome and red team on the ark, aswell as arbiter and the sword of sanghelios taking on the flood. That would be my dream
If they're thinking about a remake, it should be Halo 1&2 with all the cut content.
Its is absolutely crazy how much potential the halo franchise has and how perfectly the next game is set up to be one of the best halo games ever yet it will be many years before we see anything of it
Can we get a halo ODST game based on raven team. That would be awesome!
I'd love to see a completely fresh take on a spinoff. How cool would it be to step into the shoes of Forthencho in the buildup to--and finally engaging in--the battle of Charum Hakkor?
I love that us Halo players will always try and work and angle to get playable Elites back
2/3 of Halo Infinites Campaign was cut? Wow, it never felt like anything was missing, now im really curious that they had planned.
Your the only thing keeping Halo alive for me and so many others. I wish you could have been apart of the writers room. 😢
That would be pretty cool, love this books.
My bet is that 343 will just kill off Atriox between Halos 6-7, and we'll just find out through some cutscene.
(My knowledge base is up-to and including the latest book, "epithath")
..In the end, all sweetness.
Offensive Bias' hologram is also seen on a multiplayer map called Epitaph in Halo 3.
Okay, hear me out; A RTS where you set up strategy and a plan b, then it transitions you to a FPS playing those tactics
we should play as Johnson
If we get a spin off for the forerunners I want a hellfivers style where we have to fight the flood and forerunners at once as ancient humanity
I really hope all that comes true. Fingers crossed. 🤞 🤞
Im down for a halo ce remake... As long as infernoplus sneaks into the studio to sew some chaos
Aslong as there is a epic warthog run away from a big going bye bye thing I’m happy lmao
This has nothing to do with the actual video but that Bonfire poster in the background is CLEAN. Alright, now to actually watch the video!
Before a Halo 7 gets made, more spin-offs need to be made!
"Dare I say 7 is..."
"Please say it."
"An I C O N I C number"
"FUCK YEAH!!!"
