I love the xz spects but the z5 desing is better for me xD

Alberto Garcia have you held both XZ and Z5 premium in real? I have checked both of them and although Z5 premium is quite a buty specially the chrome one, the XZ in its overall design feels much more grown. I have found this phone to be much more impressive than what it appears to be in pictures. I own the mineral black one.

The Z5 premiums come with 4K. I don't know if you got an odd model that I am not familiar with but it is even printed on the box as a selling point for people looking for that to see. The XZ and Z5 premium are very good. I have an X and all it lacks in comparison is a 4K display. I got it for a total of $239 with just very minor wear and everything fully functional. Usually to get a device similar to that for that price you would have to find a broken one that does not turn on which of course I would not do unless the repair is cheap and easy and the seller knew exactly what broke the device. Even then it is still well worth it to get one that was not broken unless you know a good repair shop.
I'm interested in only one thing, why are sheltering 4 lower icons with multitasking and battery layout which shows the percentages and you can somehow reclaim it ?? help please

XZ is very nice, includes stronger improvements, by Z5 premium is a legend.
Z5 premium doesn't really offer much on specs.. Its major set back is the heating.. Been using z5 premium for a year and i can honestly say that its not an upgrade on my z2.. Battery drain fast.. When heating it lags and the screen in pretty common.. I rather upgrade from z2 - z3(single sim).. I ditched my z5 premium over z3 due to lowlight shots and battery life.. SD801 is the last best chipset of snapdragon i must say..
Netz Astigrockon well sony is the one who wanted to b the first phone company with 4k screen well this the the result, overheating. wat people dont understand is that other phone companies r not stupid for putting 1080 screens on their phones for example the iphone 7 has only 720 but the 7 plus has 1080 because apple already has battery draining fast issues so by putting lower resolution on screens they put less stress on battery

Umer Khayyam Khan Supposedly from what I read online the XZ's overheating issues are abysmal. Haven't tried it though.
Sethuna Thanks for the reply, though I now own an Xperia XZ in mineral black. The phone in camera mode did get heat up annoyingly quick before the first update. The situation is not as bad and so far I haven't had any forced shut down or warning messages ever since it got the first update, the problem hasn't left altogether though. Another thing after the Nougat update the cams white balance has gotten better and it no longer gives that lemon yellow tint to the low light pictures in my observation. However, the rom is quite buggy. I absolutely don't like the phone app as it not only has bugs, it is pretty useless. For example when you search a number while you are in the history tab you no longer get phone book results instead you get only the names available in the history and that too without the number. You need to go to the contact book if you need to choose a number from a list of numbers owned by a contact and from there onwards the process gets lengthier and absolutely inconvenient. I am now forced to use third party app. It would turn on the speaker phone automatically which is a major annoyance and I am thinking of rolling back. The Marshmallow had the best phone dailer app which was perfect for me.
Overall though I love this phone.

Can you do a speaker test? Haven't seen any decent video on the feature. All reviewers say that it's ok or above average on a 5 second sample.

As far as I know it pushes the 4K resolution only in certain modes like viewing a picture for example. Go watch MKBHD's video on the Z5P.

the fingerprint on the both phone is responsive ?
u never compare the main problems with the z5 premiume, which is a very low sound and not bright screen outside sometimes you can't see it, dose the xz louder and brighter?

The Z5 Premium has an amazing battery. At the end of the day I have about 70 percent remaining. You need to turn off all the anonymous diagnostics being sent over the network.
The fingerprint scanner on the X performance is not the same as the XZ. The one on the XZ is much much faster according to what I have seen.

Xperia Fan hardware side of things it's probably identical, but it's the software that made it much faster and efficient, I'm sure of it.
Cant compare the X performance, but the fingerprint scanner on the XZ is faster and better then on the z5, I own them both. And so far, even though I have sweaty or cold hands, the XZ recognizes my print, that wasn't always the case with my Z5.

well, first up, finger tested speed tests are totally unreliable. because you csn never in your life tap on 2 screens with 2 hands the exact same time. it is physically impossible.
second problem. both phones seem to be connected to the same WiFi.
on Sony phones, this can cause issues, as WiFi routers don't split the connection according to how many decides are connected, instead it uses feed information and picks it's data transfer prioritized in that condition. which can have a major effect on app opening times, if they have to rely on Internet connection.
so basically, the result could completely be shifted to 180°, I'd you'd use normal data connection instead of both using the same WiFi.
also data transfer noise can cause lag in transfer, which can also affect the start up speed
+Michael Kay not a completely accurate test, but if the finger difference is a matter of milliseconds and the app opening difference is over a second then the results mean something
at z5 you have one NFC.. on XZ no... why?

TERA DACTAL that's probably true but then there isn't a screen perfect out there. Personally I'd prefer IPS over amoled any day and this screen for that matter is really awesome.
