If you’re new to my channel, my name is Alex Hormozi. I’m the founder and managing partner of Acquisition.com. It’s a family office, which is just a formal way of saying we invest our own money into companies. Our 10 portfolio companies bring in over $200,000,000+ per year. Our ownership stake varies between 20% and 100% of them. Given this is a YT channel, and anyone can claim anything, I’ll give you some stuff you can google to verify below.
    How I got here…
21: Graduated Vanderbilt in 3 years Magna Cum Laude, and took a fancy consulting job.
23 yrs old: Left my fancy consulting job to start a business (a gym).
24 yrs old: Opened 5 gym locations.
26 yrs old: Closed down 6th gym. Lost everything.
26 yrs old: Got back to launching gyms (launched 33). Then, lost everything for a 2nd time.
26 yrs old: In desperation, started licensing model as a hail mary. It worked.
27 yrs old: "Gym Launch" does $3M profit the next 6 months. Then $17M profit next 12 months.
28 yrs old: Started Prestige Labs. $20M the first year.
29 yrs old: Launched ALAN, a software company for agencies to work leads for customers. Scaled to $1.7mmo within 6 months.
31 yrs old: Sold 75% of UseAlan to a strategic buyer in an all stock deal.
31 yrs old: Sold 66% of Gym Launch & Prestige Labs at $46.2M valuation in all-cash deal to American Pacific Group. (you can google it)
31 yrs old: Started our family office Acquisition.com. We invest and scale companies using the $42M in distributions we had taken + the cash from the $46.2M exit.
32 yrs old: Started making free content showing how we grow companies to make real business education accessible to everyone (and) to attract business owners to invest or scale their businesses.
34 yrs old: I became co-owner of Skool.com to help the many people who want to start a business online do so.
Today: Our portfolio now does $200M/yr between 10 companies. The largest doing $100M/yr the smallest doing $5M per year. Our ownership varies between 20% and 100% ownership of the companies. Many of them we invested in early and helped grow (which is how we make our money - not youtube videos).
To all the gladiators in the arena, we’re all in the middle of writing our own stories. The worse the monsters, the more epic the story.
You either get an epic outcome or an epic story. Both mean you win.
Keep crushing. May your desires be greater than your obstacles.
    Never quit,
    Alex
    FULL DISCLOSURE
I make content to make money - just - on a longer time horizon than most. I want to build trust with business owners so we can find the best ones and help them scale. And if they’re awesome, write them a check and go all the way as partners.

@@oloblish You are so pathetic. Do you eat 200 grams of protein every day? Do you lift to failure regularly? Do you sleep well? If not, you're not making progress like he is. Not everything is about gear, bro. No need to overcomplicate things if you're not an elite athlete because if you were, someone else would be doing the legwork and logistics. If you think it's fun to stress over every detail of your nutrient intake and spend hours a day on that pursuit, then that's on you. Mr. Hormozi's time is more valuable than that.
Why even complain about other people being on gear? Are you so dissatisfied with your physique that it fills you with envy? Maybe you should hop on gear then if you think it's so easy and you can't look yourself in the mirror.

    • @kevinduarte8835

@@kevinduarte8835 It is important to talk about the gear in this regard because a nutrition like this, which is lacking a lot of micronutrients, is associated with low testosterone levels. But when you're enhanced, this is not an issue.
So for most guys, in the long run, this diet will probably make them nutrient deficient and fatigued, while for him, this is not an issue.

Thanks for this concise version of the early video. I have lost 30lbs since February using your scale and 1g-1lb protien ratio. Being 300lbs getting 300gs of protien has been a fun challenge. Lotsa Nonfat Greek yogurt, fairlife, and chicken breasts, but at dinner I am
Eating whatever my wife cooks. Thanks!

I dont wanna be that guy, but personally I wouldnt fuss over if you got 250 grams of protein instead of 300. You should be fine either way, but there is no harm in getting 300 unless you mind the protein farts

I remember Russell Brunson talking about this in Mexico last year. I see the changes it has made for him. I am excited to try it for myself. Looking forward to part 2! 🔥

So simple and yet so brilliant at the same time. I'm a sucker for dessert. I'm going to give this a shot. Would love to see part 2.

this advice, except the calories equation part, is straight up garbage: you didn't mention that you're on TRT, didn't mention your Test level (in the double digit), didn't mention the hit that you will get on your health AND mental health when eating like a 6 year old...

    Never skip that TRT either.

For those complaining about the lack of nutrients, dude just cut your fun calories in half and use half of them for nutrient dense foods like raw milk, cheese, fruit, raw honey and then use the other half for whatever you want like cookies & ice cream.

Everything you said makes total sense and it's very much the same of what you said on that other video you mentioned which i watched too. But, i wonder, aren't you concerned about insuline resistence, diabets and other health problems due to the high amounts of sugar with all these desserts you're eating every single day?

Great video for people trying to lose weight and can't give up their desserts, but I recommend taking care of your gut microbiome as it affects your mood , focus and general health
