If you’re new to my channel, my name is Alex Hormozi. I’m the founder and managing partner of Acquisition.com. It’s a family office, which is just a formal way of saying we invest our own money into companies. Our 10 portfolio companies bring in over $200,000,000+ per year. Our ownership stake varies between 20% and 100% of them. Given this is a YT channel, and anyone can claim anything, I’ll give you some stuff you can google to verify below.
    How I got here…
21: Graduated Vanderbilt in 3 years Magna Cum Laude, and took a fancy consulting job.
23 yrs old: Left my fancy consulting job to start a business (a gym).
24 yrs old: Opened 5 gym locations.
26 yrs old: Closed down 6th gym. Lost everything.
26 yrs old: Got back to launching gyms (launched 33). Then, lost everything for a 2nd time.
26 yrs old: In desperation, started licensing model as a hail mary. It worked.
27 yrs old: "Gym Launch" does $3M profit the next 6 months. Then $17M profit next 12 months.
28 yrs old: Started Prestige Labs. $20M the first year.
29 yrs old: Launched ALAN, a software company for agencies to work leads for customers. Scaled to $1.7mmo within 6 months.
31 yrs old: Sold 75% of UseAlan to a strategic buyer in an all stock deal.
31 yrs old: Sold 66% of Gym Launch & Prestige Labs at $46.2M valuation in all-cash deal to American Pacific Group. (you can google it)
31 yrs old: Started our family office Acquisition.com. We invest and scale companies using the $42M in distributions we had taken + the cash from the $46.2M exit.
32 yrs old: Started making free content showing how we grow companies to make real business education accessible to everyone (and) to attract business owners to invest or scale their businesses.
34 yrs old: I became co-owner of Skool.com to help the many people who want to start a business online do so.
Today: Our portfolio now does $200M/yr between 10 companies. The largest doing $100M/yr the smallest doing $5M per year. Our ownership varies between 20% and 100% ownership of the companies. Many of them we invested in early and helped grow (which is how we make our money - not youtube videos).
To all the gladiators in the arena, we’re all in the middle of writing our own stories. The worse the monsters, the more epic the story.
You either get an epic outcome or an epic story. Both mean you win.
Keep crushing. May your desires be greater than your obstacles.
    Never quit,
    Alex
    FULL DISCLOSURE
I make content to make money - just - on a longer time horizon than most. I want to build trust with business owners so we can find the best ones and help them scale. And if they’re awesome, write them a check and go all the way as partners.

This isn’t what he does anymore, it’s what he did to get his body originally.
Now I believe he’s said he get all his protein done by lunch by having protein shakes/bars for breakfast. Then like a lb of meat for lunch with a sweet potato I believe.
So by noon he has like 175ish grams of protein and only like 1000-1200 calories or so. If he’s trying to get to say 200g and 2500+ cals he has 1500 calories or so to work with.
He then goes out to eat at a nice place for dinner and orders desert too.
      So shakes/meat/whatever is current thing.

Splash of milk to facilitate stirring
    Handful of blueberries
Handful of pumpkin seed and flax granola
    Stevia packets to taste.
    90+g's of protein.

Pure gold and Hilarious as hell !! but for real- Alex’s nutrition and exercise mindset is analogous to his business mindset. It really is that simple, but we all overthink it. If most people ate like this- they’d get their dream physique. Just like the business content: inputs and outputs.
Meanwhile people will complain about textures/ preservatives/ micronutrients- but you know- the doing just needs to be done. And Alex distills it like a king.

I tried the FAGE yogurt with Raspberry Ice Crystal Light and fruity Rice Krispies. I really wanted to enjoy it, but unfortunately, I couldn't. The issue lies with the texture of the yogurt. I love mousse but can't seem to get used to yogurt's texture. 😔I even tried adding a Hershey bar for extra motivation, lol, but it didn't make a difference. Eventually, I ended up adding mini allsorts licorice pieces, which helped. I managed to eat half of the container in the end. I think it is an awesome choice for people who need to hit their macros and need something different.

Fun fact fat free cheeses and yogurt are actually natural foods. When milk comes out of the cow you get cream and skim milk, and most cheeses are made incorporating the cream and milk. All they do for fat free cheese and yogurt is skim off all the cream leaving only the skim milk with no fat.

Loved these. Extra hack I would offer is pre-chopping veggies (or buying frozen/canned veggies) that you can add to these to get more fiber and better micros. If you're on a high protein diet it can make the difference between constantly miserable toilet sessions and some decent BM's.

Alex your content is absolutely amazing but you're suggesting here very questionable food related choices : cereals are insanely bad for the body and the mood, lots of processed food and chemically packed stuff here, salmon is super bad too, shrimps are known to be eating quite some amounts of heavy molecules, I thought I would see a way more natural and organic approach with an emphasis on veggies and grass fed beef/farm raised chicken for example

Salmon or fat fish is not bad if you eat 150g/week considering there are some heavy metals like mercury in a lot of fish. With 150 you get all the fats needed per week from fish. Wouldn't agree with the point about salmon

7:30 for the open face sandwiches, a really cheap alternative is to use saralee low calorie bread, slice of whatever cheese you like (I use provolone or pepper jack, 80cal per slice), and pre-cooked chicken.
You can fit like 3-4 oz of chicken on each slice of bread. You end up with like 100+ grams of protein out of it, and for a super low price.
