    🔥 Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you have a left handed version of this video? If you are left handed, you can convert ANY video on RUclips yourself! Simply go to www.mirrorthevideo.com/ and follow the instructions to mirror flip any video to convert to left handed!
How much yarn will I need? This is a very tricky question to answer as there are so many variables! How much yarn you need will depend on which yarn you choose, the thickness of that yarn, your tension and how large you want your finished project to be. I suggest making a small sample first so you can gauge how much yarn you'll need. If making a crochet square, you can weigh your finished square to work out how much yarn it used!
How many squares do I need for a blanket? That all depends on the size of the square you are making and how big you want your finished blanket to be! I always advise making one square first then measuring the size of it. From there you can work out how many squares you will need to get the blanket size you want 😀
Do you have the written pattern? Yes! I have written patterns to accompany my video tutorials on my website here: www.hookedbyrobin.com The written pattern is generally released a week or so after the video tutorial to ensure there are no errors in the video itself and to make amendments in the written version if any are found. All the written patterns are FREE to access on my website
How can I print the pattern from your website? Do you have downloadable PDF's? Not at this time no. This may change in the future but for now, I only provide the written pattern directly on my website.
Can you remake this video so it is slower? If the video speed is too fast, you can slow it down! 😀 See this video on exactly how: • How to Adjust the Spee...
Why do you use American stitch terminology? I learnt using USA stitch terms, long before I even knew there was a difference between UK & US terminology! American terms are my "first language" so to speak. If you need a conversion chart, I have one here! www.hookedbyrobin.com/crochet...

Robin, have been searching for a simple Spring Shawl. Temperatures in a typical Texas Spring can be rather mercurical. Already have completed a warmer pattern in a pastel variegated. This is absolutely perfect! Love the yarn you used! As always, Thank You🩷!!!

I am SO GRATEFUL for this tutorial!!! I have been looking for an easy but lacy triangle shawl for at least two years, usually on crochet blogs or sites like Ravelry, but this is the first one that checks all the boxes! It had to be easy and lacy and lightweight and triangular, so I could adapt it to a head covering for religious purposes.
The picot edging is such a nice touch. I made the first one in under two days and am already working on my second. Your video is extremely well done and your instructions (written and spoken) are SPOT ON. Well, well done! I can't wait to scour through the rest of your patterns!
I decided to add some variation in my second shawl by adding an extra repeat of row 4 every other pattern repeat, if that makes sense. It switches between 2 and 3 rows of the ch5, sc part.
I used Lion Brand TruBoo bamboo yarn; it’s a little splitty but lusciously soft and light.
    Bless you!

Thank you for your lovely pattern , I did amend it slightly to get a 'right/wrong side' by doing 3 chain rows then the blocks of 3 ,obviously turning it into a 4 row repeat ,I think it shows the openwork of the chain stitches better and overall I'm very pleased with it , thank you for all your ,clear and easy to follow tutorials , keep up the good work , Diane .

I just wanted to THANK YOU! You have taught me to crochet -I give you FULL credit! I tried to learn initially using books but they just did not work. YOUR teaching is what worked with me - and now, thanks to you, I can even use those old books if I want to! Thanks again - you have changed my life! Brittany
