🔥 Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you have a left handed version of this video? If you are left handed, you can convert ANY video on RUclips yourself! Simply go to www.mirrorthevideo.com/ and follow the instructions to mirror flip any video to convert to left handed!
How much yarn will I need? This is a very tricky question to answer as there are so many variables! How much yarn you need will depend on which yarn you choose, the thickness of that yarn, your tension and how large you want your finished project to be. I suggest making a small sample first so you can gauge how much yarn you'll need. If making a crochet square, you can weigh your finished square to work out how much yarn it used!
How many squares do I need for a blanket? That all depends on the size of the square you are making and how big you want your finished blanket to be! I always advise making one square first then measuring the size of it. From there you can work out how many squares you will need to get the blanket size you want 😀
Do you have the written pattern? Yes! I have written patterns to accompany my video tutorials on my website here: www.hookedbyrobin.com The written pattern is generally released a week or so after the video tutorial to ensure there are no errors in the video itself and to make amendments in the written version if any are found. All the written patterns are FREE to access on my website
How can I print the pattern from your website? Do you have downloadable PDF's? Not at this time no. This may change in the future but for now, I only provide the written pattern directly on my website.
Can you remake this video so it is slower? If the video speed is too fast, you can slow it down! 😀 See this video on exactly how: • How to Adjust the Spee...
Why do you use American stitch terminology? I learnt using USA stitch terms, long before I even knew there was a difference between UK & US terminology! American terms are my "first language" so to speak. If you need a conversion chart, I have one here! www.hookedbyrobin.com/crochet...

I learned a big lesson today. I’m a beginner crocheter, by Round 3 I was overwhelmed and turned off RUclips. Something said watch the video THE ENTIRE VIDEO before giving up. So I did and Round 4 showed the easiest repeat I’ve ever seen!! I’m currently speeding through my very own V Stitch Shawl and I’m so excited and proud!! #DontGiveUp. Thank you so much 🥰 🧶

Yes definitely trying this, thanks love your tutorials, they are so clear & easy to follow 🙏👍
THANKYOU FOR THIS! I took this, but did triple crochets instead of doubles (for a more open weave and less rows), to basically adapt The Snugglery's pattern for her Caron Cakes Triangle Shawl/Scarf vest. Took a lot of math since my yarn is a completely different weight and figuring out where to do the armholes was a challenge, but this v-stitch instead of the traditional granny is really giving me the more open weave I wanted so I can still wear the vest in warmer seasons as well.
That sounds amazing Olivia!😃 You’re braver than me, maths with crochet makes my head hurt at times.😂
I am having so much fun with this pattern. my gradient yarn comes out so beautifully. love it. thank you💙
Yay! 😃 I am so pleased to hear that, that sounds lovely!

I just made this!! Used Red Heart roll with it melange in theater color. Oh my, so beautiful. ♥️ I made a few "W" stitches in a couple spots 😂 but this yarn helped hide those oopsies. This stitch was pretty fast once I got going. I haven't crocheted in years and was never good at reading patterns, so your videos have really helped! Super excited to crochet again! Thanks Robin!! 😘
