This is a lovely pattern. I really like the way it works up - staggering the V's instead of lining them all up as most patterns do. This gives a beautiful, lacy effect. Thank you for explaining this so clearly. Your tutorial made it very easy to understand the pattern. I agree with you - Mandala is a beautiful yarn and one of my favourites. It is possible to be "yarn spoiled"!

@@charlenerenee7751 it looks like denim.. like she says in the video. But when it's stitched up... the color goes from light to dark. My sweater came out very ombre.
Hi Robin Thank you again... I was late getting on Alex and Aaron's sale but it was perfect timing to hear you ask if I was there. They have a good thing going... Im going to save your video for now till I get stuff in order here. I literally got my nites and days mixed up.... trying to get back into a work mode again. The Shaw is beautiful and i'm like you in that I don't want the seam showing. when I attempt to make it I will be putting the video in sloooww motion to do it. whenever I get it done (long time) I will send a pic to you.

Anna you are very welcome. When you get started its very easy. Double crochet and chain stitch is all there is in this. Nothing super fancy LOL.
Thanks for this tutorial. This is a good one ... easy to learn the rhythm of it. Do you remember how much yarn you used? I have used this very yarn in the same colorway and love it as well. Nice drape Washing the RH Super Saver softens it a lot. I think they add a sizing agent that makes it stiff. One thing is for sure, it wears like iron. I have /use lap ghans my Mom made decades ago with RH. Love to wrap up in things she has made
Hi Barb if I remember correctly I used 2. RH used to be what I used all the time it was cheap and I could get it local. Then I got spoiled!!😂😂

For a tutorial, this yarn choice made it very difficult to see the stitches and follow. Please redo with a striping yarn or a solid color.

You didn’t show the shawl in the beginning of the video. Only Anna knows what it looks like at this point.

Hi Michelle, That would be because it is not finished. The thumb nail shows more of it. And Anna does not know what this one looks like either, the one she saw was the same stitch but a completely different yarn which created a totally different look that the yarn being used in this video.
