11° here in Stillwater NY. Enjoy watching the videos. I read every Louis Lamar book. Some twice. Awesome story's. I'll keep watching. Can't wait for spring
Thanks for your service! 🇺🇸 Colorado sure is a great state. Some awesome riding, great weather, and all kinds of fun stuff to check out. Thanks for watching!
This is some of the best moto vlogging I’ve seen in a long time. You guys really capture the energy and fun of riding Harleys and seeing this beautiful country. God Bless and keep those wheels down.
Loving every minute of this series. For me this is the ride that never was. Back in 2016 my best friend and I were all booked to fly from Sydney to San Francisco, pick up some bikes and ride to Sturgis for the experience of a lifetime. Sadly three weeks before we were due to leave my best friend had a stroke and we had to cancel everything. We were both devastated as our dream since we got our first motorcycles at 13 was gone. As my oldest and closest friend can never ride again it wouldn't feel right doing that trip without him, so I'll live the trip through your videos.
Thanks for the comment and support. Sorry to hear that but hopefully we have made this ease the pain a bit. You can also view last years Sturgis drops too. There will be 5 more drops in this series. Stay well!!
Man, yall are doing this right! I’m housebound with the recent birth of my daughter but I live the adventure through the 2lanelife lenses! Feels like I’m there. Great vids and keep ‘em coming. Cheers
Thanks for the support, DieselDaze!! And congrats on the start of a new adventure with your daughter! We're glad we can show ya a few things, we'll keep it coming! 🙌 Got some great stuff dropping before and after Sturgis this year if you haven't seen any of the "Sturgis before the rally" videos yet 🇺🇸
This brings back memories of when we use t go to the Dragon rally in Wales back in the early 70s at the time I had a AJS loved that old bucket of bolts 🔩 I'm from the UK 🇬🇧 😀 👍 stay safe 👍
You've become a huge, positive motivation (motovation?) to me and I'm looking forward to getting my Road Glide out next year and just going anywhere. I hope you know how much value your content provides to us. Thanks, keep it up, have fun and ride safe!!
2nd time rewatching this love it all! Best part is the quote in Wy. “I have Denver traffic more than LA.” Considering a majority of the population is moved from Ca. I’d say my home state is sadly becoming more and more like LA. 😂😂
Guys I look forward to all of your videos you guys are the best motorcycle channel on RUclips love your enthusiasm and how you have fun on the road it's what it's all about having fun going on adventures and seeing parts of your great country ....keep doing what your doing 👍 Cheers Gary (Bear ) Wilson
Excellent channel lads! I'm from Australia and digging your tour of the iconic USA roads. Hope to get over there soon and hire a Harley to check out some of the places you've been.
Thanks for watching, Gravel Chef!! It's always a great time sharing our travels, and we're glad to hear you're having fun coming long for the ride! We just got back from an east coast ride, where we got some loaner bikes from Harley, and will say we had just as fun of a time being on different bikes. Hopefully you can crush some miles out here sooner or later!
It’s redundant, but I’ll say it anyway, another awesome video! So much fun, sharing the road, stories, places, laughs with friends, that’s what it’s all about! Keep’em coming boys! See you down the road! 👉🏼👉🏼
Thanks Patric!! We appreciate the continued support and are glad to hear you're diggin' all the videos! We love sharing the good times had on the road! Ride safe, we'll see ya down the road.. 🤘
I just stumbled upon your channel and ended up binge-watching a bunch of them already and found them inspiring and know planning some trips I just need to find some riding brothers and sisters to roll with thank you and keep up the awesome videos
Denver traffic is exactly like LA and California. Mostly because of all of the Californis people moving there. Stayed at the Best Western in Lusk a few times, you are correct, it is a great place to stay.
We love taking the Colorado route from Texas to Sturgis but always hate Denver traffic. We’ve tried at different times of the day and Denver always has heavy traffic. As for hotels, the last 2 years have been tough to get rooms w/o reservations. When y’all were at the gas station deciding where to go I was like “make a reservation in Cheyenne!”, the episode ended so we’re left in suspense if y’all got 7 rooms or not. Patiently waiting for EP4!
Ha! We don’t normally make reservations as that ties you to a destination. We like the flow of flying by the seat of our pants, it makes for a crazy good time. Thanks for watching!!
Great video! I lived in Bailey, Co for 25 yrs & traveled Hwy 285 every day to work. 285 was strictly a two lane hwy back in the day & now parts of it 4 lane to ease the traffic. There are amazing motorcycle roads off of 285 at Pine Junction that will take you to Woodland Park, Co. Beautiful scenery & excellent road. Also the world famous Buck Snort Saloon in Sphinx Park close to Pine, Co is biker friendly. They have a website. Just some advice, don't take Sante Fe Drive off of 285 to go north in Denver on I-25. That's miserable & yes some of the drivers are not biker friendly. Take C-470 around to 70 to I-25 north. A little better depending on when to avoid rush hour. One more thing, Salida, Co is a great town to ride to. Great restaurants, hot springs, lodging & friendly people. Safe travels!
Thanks Larry, glad you're enjoying them!! We run Cardo Packtalk Bold intercoms and love them. As for parts and gear on the bikes, we just dropped a video a couple weeks ago with all that info, feel free to give it a look 👍
Looks like a great ride. How do yall decide on routes and stops when everyone wants to do something different? That's always been my issue when riding in big groups. I would have wanted to bypass Denver at all cost and meet everyone else "down the road" lol
A good time was had by all!! Thanks for watching, Calypso. Typically, we have a destination planned for day 1, then we will plan accordingly for the rest of the trip as time goes on. For the most part, everyone just wants to ride great roads and eat good food, so it's rarely an issue finding some middle ground. If we had to guess, everyone would have liked to bypass Denver, but in the interest of getting into Sturgis on time, we sucked it up haha
I love watching your videos. Well done. Question, what kind of bars do you have on the road glide’s? It looks like they are all similar. I am looking for something like those. Thank you
Thanks for watching, Milkcrate919!! Stoked to hear you'r enjoying the rides. We rock the Thrashin 6.5" Pullback risers with the Thrashin' High-Bend bars. It's a pretty universal setup, and we've had friends that are 6'5"+ with that setup, as well as those 5'7" with the same setup. Comfortable, performance oriented, and they look good! For the M8 Road Glides, you'll need the riser adapter plate as well, if you plan on keeping your stock gauge setup. We have a bundle on our site where the handlebars are free with the purchase of risers and the adapter plate. Feel free to shoot an email to infoi@2lanelife.com with any questions, we'd love to help you out! The few times we stayed in hotels during Sturgis, it just felt like something was missing from the experience. Your best bet would be to book something on AirBnb 7-10 months ahead of time. We get it. We shouldn’t split lanes in states that don’t allow but the air cooled engines don’t do well in the heat with no wind movement. We know most folks in most states are awesome. Remember Gaylin grew up in Utah. But many folks weren’t to happy with us. Thanks for the comment.
Please add clips of your motorcycles and the accessories, which ones work or is no good when touring etc. Basically real world usage reviews of your bikes and accessories. THX!
We run the 12” Pro-Touring by Klockwerks. We have a ton of miles on them and love the coverage. We will show videos on our bikes later this year. And you can see the windshields at 2LaneLife.com
Canadian Harley rider here, enjoying your 3rd video, following on google maps you boys (and girl) are covering a lot of ground, hope your downed fellow rider from last video is doing ok. Comment at 11:53 "wtf are you guys paying for gas, showing $3.70 a gal, well at the time four month ago we were paying about the same converted to liters 97 cents a liter, but dollar conversion about 20 percent exchange, then 1:16 a liter Canadian> so at the time that would still be a little less, than we are paying, definitive word being "at the time" today Feb 21, 2022 we are paying 1.50 a liter plus exchange , (oh lord I hope my math is wrong) that's 6.84 cents for a gallon of gas, and of course looking up at the sign, pretty sure like our signs thats for regular gas, so us boys with the high compression requiring high test, ya WTF
Lol you wanna know the worst part of Denver traffic, it’s all you California, Texas and New Yorkers who make it bad. Anyone from out of state don’t know how to drive.
Everyone needs a "Josh" to capture the ride moments like these!
We’re lucky, that’s for sure. But we all capture footage as well.
11° here in Stillwater NY. Enjoy watching the videos. I read every Louis Lamar book. Some twice. Awesome story's. I'll keep watching. Can't wait for spring
We’re glad you enjoy our story telling and episodes! We hope spring comes sooner than later so you can get out.
I was stationed in Denver a little over a decade ago. This just reminds me how much I miss Colorado
Thanks for your service! 🇺🇸
Colorado sure is a great state. Some awesome riding, great weather, and all kinds of fun stuff to check out. Thanks for watching!
The person filmining deserves a raise, all the rolling shots and footage he gets are amazing all while on a bike of his own.
He gets mental raises all the time! We all film but the editing is done by our guy Josh! He’s awesome!
Looks like so much fun
A good time was had by all! The journey to Sturgis is one to check off of the list for sure! Thanks for watching, Russell!
Pre road glide ride for Juan. Rewatching great ride to Sturgis. 🇨🇦

Another great vlog guys. Down here in Australia 🇦🇺 we can’t even travel between our states which is disgraceful. You bring some normality back.
Glad we can help with what’s happening over there. We worry about you guys and hoping all goes well as soon as possible.

Thanks Shawn!!! We appreciate what you do!!
$3.69 a gallon. Wow in Australia we are paying twice that after converting back to USD. Love the videos. A bit jealous as we are in lockdown here.
Dang! Well, live through us and enjoy!!
@2laneLife What helmet is the fella with the white beard sporting. The black helmet with orange strip down the center. Is that a Bell model?
Bell SRT Modular. No longer in stock.

@@2LaneLife Thanks a lot for answering! God bless all your rides!
Just the drivers in Denver are assholes not everywhere in Colorado love seeing you guys in my backyard!! Great video can’t wait for number 4!
We don’t hate on them it was just hot and we needed to go. Thanks for the support.
You mentioned the gas at $3.69.. That was for regular.. Are you using regular in your HD's?
He was just making a funny. We use 91 on occasion you can’t find it in small towns.

Oh yeaaaaaa 🤘🇺🇸

Where did you guys stay in Sturgis? My wife and I are Sturgis virgins and are going next year for the first time. Any advice helps. Oh and great vids.
We stayed at a rental house out in Deadwood. At least when traveling with a group, we always enjoy staying in houses so much more than hotels, as we can all hang out, have a safe spot to park the bikes, BBQ, and all that good stuff. The few times we stayed in hotels during Sturgis, it just felt like something was missing from the experience. Your best bet would be to book something on AirBnb 7-10 months ahead of time.

@@2LaneLife I really appreciate your advice. This is what makes the biker community great. Thanks.👍
Fun fact...all of our (Denver) traffic CAME FROM L.A.; we natives are extremely nice :0)

Don’t let any Co. PD catch you guys splitting lanes here they love getting them guys.
Thanks for the info. 🤘😂
i though you only spilt lane in Cal
There are a couple of states that allow it.

In traffic in a non lane splitting state. Yeah that would suck, especially for the motor.
Yes, and yes on the engine as well.
✌🏼✊🏾🤙🏾🇧🇷🤙🏾✊🏾✌🏼
🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍
😃👍👌❤
🤘🤘👍👍
FYI when riding in Colorado it is illegal to lane split.
Yes we know. Thanks for looking out👍
I live in Thornton, CO. The cage drivers out here suck.
👍
Funny dont see one rider wearing BOOTS-road must rip hell out of those sneakers?? Is this a Cali trend??
I seen people wearing boots. Not to mention there are plenty of manufacturers out there that make sneaker style motorcycle approved shoes.
Depends on the mood. Not always the safest but it’s how we run.
I like the ridding videos but not a fan of the drinking and ridding.
Thanks for your comments, we do listen to those.
In my experience, Colorado drivers are more hostile towards motorcycles than any other state I've travelled to.
Gotta be safe out there👍
Thanks for watching, Sam!
That Lance dude seems like real whiner. Trying to lead from the rear, wth.
Not sure what that means.
Lol you wanna know the worst part of Denver traffic, it’s all you California, Texas and New Yorkers who make it bad. Anyone from out of state don’t know how to drive.
