As a rider in NC who loves my Blue Ridge Parkway, Smoky Mountains and Eastern USA riding (Maine to Fla and everywhere in between) I am always envious of you west coast/central US riders and the amazing roads and scenery you have the privilege to enjoy.
We do have some great riding out here. We would really enjoy trying the Blue Ridge Parkway and others out there. It's a goal of ours to make our way east.

Zion is beautiful - hiked it extensively in the 90's - God got busy with the paintbrush there. Lake Powell is a photographers playground. If you get a chance to do a boat/camping trip up through Powell, it is incredible. Thanks for sharing.

Never thought I'd make it to ride the western states from PA till 3 years ago no I'm riding west 3 years in a row . Everyone needs to experience the western states on 2 wheels.

Right there at 35.25 where the San Juan river bridge and motel meet in Mexican Hat, there was a sulfur hauler that came thru too fast and crashed into the canyon wall. It was a bad truck accident. If you look closely at the rock wall, you can still see patches of the yellow sulfur. This happened back when truck brakes frequently failed.
That's gnarly! We actually heard a truck crash in a similar spot by the bridge while we were hangin' on the balcony that night. We heard a super loud bang and some rubble, and a bunch of other people staying at the hotel came outside to see what happened. Gotta stay safe out there! Thanks for watching SublimeSubdue 🤘🏼
New subscriber here, a rider from Alberta Canada. I've spent many a winter in St. George, UT. Love the area. I've been to most of the spots you pointed out. Been through the Virgin River Gorge and Zion about 25 times. Beautiful scenery.
I love this video! There is lots of motorcycle riding shots and beautiful scenery. There’s no hand-held mics so the guys look more like bikers than news reporters (though I wasn’t prepared for the missing beard, lol). This was just a really excellent video.

You guys ever notice the Old "Stage Stops" along some of the highways? Seen several in my travels down there. They use to space them about every 15 - 20 miles or so, to change out the horses, and give the passengers a rest, food, overnight if needed, pick up mail, passengers etc.... .. A days ride by Wells Fargo of Butterfield coach could reach 60+ on a good day. Regards

Looking at purchasing a modular helmet, I currently wear a FF shoei GT Air. I see you guys wear the Bell SRT. How do you like them? Do they flow air pretty good? Do you recommend the Bell, or do you want to change to a different brand/model?
@@kencasper5807 The modulars are great. Of course, not as quiet as a standard helmet (slightly more wind noise), but totally worth it in our opinion. We've been rockin' bell for a long time and don't see that changing any time soon. The SRT's are comfy, they look great, and they make the photochromic visor for them. They also have the internal slide-down lens which comes in handy. Our video guy Josh was a diehard shoei guy, and had been using the RF1200 for years. He borrowed an SRT for Sturgis, and never looked back😂. Let us know if you have any other Q's, we'd love to help you out. We have the SRT's on our site as well at 2lanelife.com 🇺🇸

Love your videos! What seat are you guys riding? I have a Harley Hammock on my 2017 Street glide and not impressed. You guys put some serious miles on your bikes and have yet to see you complain about being sore. Keep posting your videos, inspires me to put more miles on my bike!

They make quite the difference compared to the alternatives, and they definitely live up to their name! And for our Day to day and without a passenger we run the Saddlemen Slim LS. We have a combined 150k miles on them.
Looking at purchasing a modular helmet, I currently wear a FF shoei GT Air. I see you guys wear the Bell SRT. How do you like them? Do they flow air pretty good? Do you recommend the Bell, or do you want to change to a different brand/model?
@@kencasper5807 The modulars are great. Of course, not as quiet as a standard helmet (slightly more wind noise), but totally worth it in our opinion. We've been rockin' bell for a long time and don't see that changing any time soon. The SRT's are comfy, they look great, and they make the photochromic visor for them. They also have the internal slide-down lens which comes in handy.
Our video guy Josh was a diehard shoei guy, and had been using the RF1200 for years. He borrowed an SRT for Sturgis, and never looked back😂. Let us know if you have any other Q's, we'd love to help you out. We have the SRT's on our site as well at 2lanelife.com 🇺🇸

Great effort putting this video together. Most of youtubers ignore the kind of information you covered about the roads, stops and destinations. Maybe more on the roads in future. Keep it up guys 👌👍

You guys are going to think I'm a pathological liar when I tell you I taught high school math at Monument Valley High school. I used to drive that road everyday to work from Blanding to the school. It was 68 miles of peaceful reflection time for me.

Josh need to trade that bike in for a touring bike. I have to give him respect though going on long trips like that on a small bike.
He's made it work pretty well after installing hard bags and a few other things, but nothing beats a real touring bike like a Road Glide. We'll talk him into it one day 😎
