Matt keep up the good work. With pieces like this you are fast becoming the "Warren Miller" of Harley Davidson cinematography! Totally digging it!
Best comment I have ever gotten. I’m a huge warren miller fan.
I couldn't agree more!! Also a huge Warren Miller fan!
Yeah good comment guy and a drone sure helps! Great video Matt!

Daryl Lect ...grow up🙄
Keep up the good work Matt. THIS is the marketing that HD needs right now. Just people out having fun riding, no pirates, no bar hopping.
I appreciate the comment. I agree.
Beyond the ride, I think it is important to see young people loving their HD motorcycles. HD needs to find a way to attract younger riders because the average age of Harley riders is somewhat alarming.
i thought of buying a HD there, before i read this comments
agreed
Great comment! I agree. More marketing like this is needed!!
Literally the best video you've put out on this channel. To all that had a part in its making, major kudos!! Beautifully captured every aspect of the journey on 2-wheels. The bar has been set higher for motovloggers.
Thank you my friend. That comment means a lot to me.
Every now and then, someone does something special when all Hell is braking loose. This video got me thru the night, Thanks !!!!!!
Thank you! I appreciate that comment.
I’m a female rider, almost three years now, and have been following you since I started riding. Your videos have always been very informative and I’ve appreciated that. This travel video is by far my favorite. My husband and I just got home from a 3300+ trip down Route 66 starting in Oklahoma through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, up to Nevada then back to Nebraska via Utah and Colorado. You captured Utah beautifully, thank you for sharing. And yes, it was nice to have sit down meals where people weren’t terrified of coronavirus. FYI, I started on a Softail Slim and upgraded to a 2020 Roadking Special this year. 😀
Kudos to you guys on a marvelous trip and to whoever edited and assembled the video. Great job by all who had a part in its creation!
Thank you !
Very cool and slick video. Awesome. Shame about the ticket though! Thanks
You should have told that cop that you were on a slow heavy Harley. There was no way you were speeding.
I'm 67 and stopped riding 2 yrs ago but these videos are tapping my inner child on the shoulder to start riding again
Matt, you nailed it on this trip... you never know your guys and who you can actually take a big ride with I’ve always said, until you travel with them, and it looks like you pulled together all the right peeps. Great bonding, gets these guys excited to sell and service bikes back home, when they can encourage others about the trip they just took and how well their bikes handled the travel! They get to throw you down for getting popped for 92... lol. Been there! Driving school should make that go away. Other than the journey itself, is there anything better than loading up the bike, the night before?!!! Tank is full, bike is spit shined. Gear all laid out to wear the next day... My last road trip we all met at my buddies place for the easiest route leaving town. I slept on his couch, with one eye opened all night, could not sleep due to pure excitement, pounded two big coffees in the morning then rode 540 miles that first day; pure adrenaline. This documentary has me all fired up to saddle and ride... Awesome vlog you pulled together. We see so much epic landscape this Country has to show us, if we’ll take the time to go ride it out.
Gotta get a bigger bucket for my list.
Matt, look on the bright side. Here in Virginia anything over 80 is automatic wreckless, which carries up to 30 days in the pokey.
To all those involved in making this video, awesome job! You really captured the experience of getting a group of riders together and taking off for a road trip through beautiful parts of America. To those viewing it, watch it on your TV if you can.
Thanks for this awesome Harley Video.
Regards from Bavaria/Germany
Matt I envy you so much. Not many guys get to do that for a living. Just remember you are very fortunate.
I'm grateful every day
Great ride, great memories - thanks for making the video. One for the bank. Your cousin has a very cool chopper.
Yea his bike is rad.
Awesome views...thanks for sharing.
More of this Matt!👏🏻
Love the history lesson that goes along with this!
"All I know is .... it is best experienced on two wheels" -- Matt Laidlaw. Can't say it better than that. Love Harley Davidson.
Haha thanks man
That was beautiful that place has just been added to to the must see list.
How could anyone give this video a thumbs down? Those people are jealous little people with jealous little faces.
Awesome video.. it's nothing better than seeing a group of good solid people out riding their scooters and enjoying life.. thanks for sharing..GOD BLESS. be SAFE and stay well everyone. LEEBO just passing through Tampa Florida
Never in my life will i ever beat my 3 week motorcycle camping trip to Colorado and on my 07' XL1200C. Even though im saying goodbye to her tomorrow, she will stay with me forever, because of how much that trip impacted me. Harley does it best, end of story.
What an awesome ride phenomenal scenery thanks for the video Take care Matt
No other way to fully experience these two parks than on a bike that’s for sure. And not only on a bike, but riding with a crew! This video makes me want a Harley again 😭 maybe one day.
So....I've been looking all over RUclips for a Harley road trip video of this caliber. One that shows the road, the bikes, and the camaraderie. Thanks for finally making it!
Thank you! Exactly the traits that I tried to capture.
Nice to see that you can still ride in the USA here in Europe things are getting back one can ride but not in groups.
epic and amazing, great video matt
Oh man I’ve been bikeless for about 2 yrs and I’m in much need of the meditation of two wheels. I appreciate the video. Blessings to ya.
Matt, thank you for sharing this epic trip. We did Zion with our group 3 years ago and it was, by far, the best epic trip we have done. I really appreciate you show casing the staff at Laidlaw’s HD, great people and it shows how you care for them and what they mean to you, I’m sure they feel the same about you, good leadership. Stay safe and ride safe my friend!
Wonderfull scenery and incredible footage.
Matt and Team Laidlaws, you all rock. I enjoyed the video so much I will be making plans to go back to Zion and now Bryce Canyon, UT. I want to roll with you guys on your next ride.
Best experienced on 2 wheels, couldn't agree more
One of the best riding videos I've seen. Great shots on the road , at the stops, and fantastic scenery. My best riding buddy can't ride anymore so I really miss the long road rides. We were at Bryce about 10 years ago. Beautiful country. Thanks for bringing back the memories. Ride safe and God bless !
Thank you ! Glad I could rekindle your memories of Bryce! It’s an awesome place to ride a bike.
Totally scenic , thanks for the great video capture, gonna put this one on my bucket list
I used to live in St. George for four years and i loved coming to Zion all the time.
Awesome video Matt!!!
Thanks for sharing
That's a trip of a lifetime , Thanks to all of you for an experience that just hit my bucket list .
Took this route the opposite way from Arches with my parents in a Starcraft pop-up trailer in "80 or "81 on the way to visit the grandparents in SoCal where I am now...I am for sure doing this trip. (I clearly remember Bryce being the best of the 3 parks/monuments...just barely over Arches)
Just epic. Memories were made. And then you shared it with us. Just three words. Wow. Thank you.
Tanks for reminding all of us why we ride Harley’s
Rode my Triumph and had the same experience and didn't have to take out a second mortgage to get it.
Paid 9k for 2010 Heritage. Didn't need to re mortgage.
Good video and great ride. On one now, South down Mississippi River Rd.
Nice man. Enjoy the ride. 👍🏻
Awesome !! Great group pic at the end !!
Nice job...Thanks for sharing...
I had a great experience with eagle riders , everyone should try their guided tour at least once in life . I promise it's worth every penny .
Great job putting this together. Brought back great memories of my trip through Zion in 1977 as part of the cross country trip I took with my buddy Geof. He was on a Sportster and I was on my Bonneville. Central Massachusetts to LA and back. Trip of a lifetime for me.
I’m SO watching this tomorrow on my TV!
Oh this is a great idea!
Watch in 4k if possible!
I would like to live as simple as possible, and enjoying riding this bikes. Thanks Matt for your videos from Philippines. 🇵🇭
Can’t get enough from Zion. I did it twice and everytime is more enjoyable. Didn’t get to Bryce Canyon but sure it on the list. Great Documentary Matt well done 👍🏼
Absolutely incredible. This was a home run! Great work.
Thanks for letting us half-way across the globe participate in your adventure. And I like how Andrew solves his problems from bike to birthday to screens.
Thanks for taking us through this wonderful trip with you. It's mesmerizing
Matt you are awesome! A perfect example of a true American. And always there for your Employees.
Matt, you are becoming the "Warren Miller" of motorcycle videos! I watch these and all I want to do is get on my bike. This was a real enjoyable watch...thank you!
Hi Matt, in 2013 we (my wife and I) did the Zion trip just the other way round. We came from Page and went to St. George. Before we were at Grand Canyon and after that we went to Las Vegas. Unfortunately we just had one day on our self guided tour provided by Eagle Rider LA. Thanks to bring up the memories of the best vacation of my live! Regards from Germany
P.S. I was the guy, who found the Heritage better than the Road King.
Great Video. Brings back memories of my trip to Zion and Bryce in 2019. I remember riding into Zion from the east and coming out of the Mount Carmel tunnel, and just thinking that I was in Biker Heaven.
Just what I needed. Next June my daughter and I hope to be doing the same trip.
Beautiful sceneries. Looked like you guys had a good time and that's what's it's all about. Great video Matt!
Awesome! My wife and I did the same thing 2 years ago but first did Vale, then Glacier National Park, then Yellowstone, then Bryce, then Zion and, lastly, the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately, I did it with a 5th wheel toy hauler but no motorcycle. The original plan was to ride through each park but unplanned knee surgery, 4 weeks earlier, prevented riding my 2016 Limited HD motorcycle.
Nice man. Go ahead and rub it in that you went to more parks haha. Sounds epic
@@MattLaidlaw I live in Tampa, FL now but lived in Redondo Beach, CA during the 1990's and rode all over CA. OR, WA, MT, ID, UT, and NV. I really miss it because FL is flat and nothing close to the West Coast riding experience. You are blessed to be able to enjoy riding the West and I love the professional way you share your riding experiences. Please keep up the great work that you and your team bring the West to all of us.
If you love Zion you will really love the black hills!!
This is what motorcycle riding is all about. Try Colorado next time. Nice job.
Great video! That lane splitting looks so crazy!
Matt that camera on your left highway peg is amazing, nice work 👍🇺🇸
Thank you! Thanks for watching
Wow, you guys are so lucky to ride Zion & Bryce Canyon area. Through your eyes it has given me the opportunity to view such wonderful scenery that your Country has to offer. Thankyou from New Zealand ...
Looks like a great trip. I'm adding this to my bucket list for when I visit the US.
Matt one of your best video's yet. Your description of Zion National Park was spot on! Loved every minute of it. Please tell me Andrew put the screen back in.
This was my favorite video you have done great job man. Plus it allows me to live vicariously until I can afford a Harley....
Im from Australia and did Zion and Bryce back in 2019. I did it with mates but we were in a Ford Expedition. I've always wanted to do it on a Harley. I do plan on returning and achieving this goal of mine to ride East to West in the USA and do it in 6 weeks.
1 of my bucketlist trips for sure! 🇦🇺
do it man. You'll love it
Make more of this kind of videoo 😍😍😍
I love those short trips, weekend destination type of rides. They’re just more relaxing.
I don’t usually watch 40+ mins vids, but this was worth it, thank you Matt, amazing ride.
This was very, very enjoyable.
Epic ride, glad you guys were able to make it.
Thanks man. 🤘🏻
Hello, my friend.
It's a fantastic and beautiful motorcycle trip video.
Have a comfortable day.
👍👍🤙🤙🤙👌
Thanks my friend for filling up gas at pilot and flying as a tribute to me...
Next time let me join!
You are always welcome Stefan!
92 mph on surface street?????? Come on Matt! WTH?
Went through Zion last July on a road trip from Minnesota to Cali. Beautiful place. And yes, I paid my yearly visit to Laidlaws. Nice video Matt.
What an awesome ride. Nothing better than a group of guys riding free on their Harley’s enjoying the open road. Utah is now a destination on my bucket list as well. Beautiful landscapes to see and enjoy. The videography was excellent, great job! Ride safe.
What a great ride, thanks for letting us ride along.
It’s not a proper motorcycle touring video until someone misses a shift. Always present on my vids. Great stuff, Matt!!
you could spend years riding southern Utah and not see all the cool landscapes there are... Devils Backbone was a thrilling surprise for me,,, road drops off 800 feet or so on both sides/and at the bottom where it is the other way around... cliff 1000 above 2 lanes at the bottom..... never could find it again.....
This is even better than your Death Valley video. You have some legit movie making skills. The amount of effort and detail you put in, is unsurpassed in motovlogging. I am seriously impressed!
Your riding season in CA is 12 Months! I ride 12 Months around in the NE. You guys are wimps :) So Jealous! Amazing trip and content as usual.
Haha. Compared to you, yes we are whimps.
Matt Roger Deakins Laidlaw! Phenomenal piece. Well done Matt. Harley Davidson’s are such a sweet looking bikes, by far. Imitation is the best form of flattery, and they will imitate. Life’s short, just buy the bike! Ride safe and ride often.
Matt that was an absolutely bad ass video. Thanks for sharing
great road, beautiful landscape
great road, beautiful landscape
Thx, Matt & the guys..... that's an awesome (!!!) video.... great job - excellent !!!!! Soul food for all those who are circumstantially restricted from riding.
Wow...very, very nicely done...you may have a future in Hollywood...glad you guys had a great time in Utah...too bad about the ticket...
I had to watch this again the land so beautiful to behold camera work excellent and the bikes awesome i so envy you guys ride safe guys Peace to all
Thank you! UT is rad.
This was an awesome video, the scenery was beautiful!! Nice to be able to road trip with the crew. ✌🏾
Great video Matt! Sometimes people ask what's so special about a Harley-Davidson? I think you captured much of it in this video. Great people enjoying the comradery of being on beautiful Harley-Davidsons on the open roads of this unbelievably beautiful country. Wow, the serenity and majesty of it all! I need to get out of Ohio and enjoy the open west soon
Thank you! And yes, there’s nothing like traveling these scenic roads on an HD
Just did that exact ride, 9 days on the road, we also ripped up to Pikes Peak. Amazing ride.
Awesome! I live in the UK but have many great memories of riding in the southwestern USA. Hoping to visit again before too long.
Thanks for sharing this Matt I just drove through this area in January and I know that I will definitely get through there on my Harley too . Beautiful country
Matt, that was a spectacular video. Your narration reminded me of Bruce Brown's narration in the movie "Endless Summer". Though I've retired to three wheels in my "golden years", I remember taking that exact ride twenty years ago. Thanks for the memories!
Que increíble, gracias por llevarnos en tu viaje ☺️
Matt, that was a great video. I so want to ride out there.
Super ride, super Harleys, super video...ride swift everyone✌️😎
Rode thru Zion in April. The main park was closed so there was no one on Hwy. 9. Perfect!
Awesome trip. I did it in Fall 2018 and went further to complete the loop to Arches, Milion Dollar Highway, Monument Valley and back to LA .. being an overseas i cant wait until I visit the States again
