Get your Kicks 👍👍👍👍👍
On Route 66!! 😂👍👍
I wrote a comment about the difference between a donkey and a burro😂 I live here in Arizona, born in southern California in the early 1940s and live the good life still in the great American southwest. I know that sometimes I try to be funny but not to be mean. I'm now pushing 80 and I just bought myself a new CanAm Ryker that's a snowmobile with training wheels in the front, but I'm sure having myself a ball, I keep saying more fun than a barrel of monkeys, and some of my other biker friends want me to do a ride with them on US 66 thru Arizona-New Mexico. So I appreciate your rip doing old US66 so I've decided that at the last moment they choose to back out I'll do it alone, thanks guys for wetting my appetite, boys please keep the cameras and wheels rolling.
That's awesome to hear!! The bike that keeps you rolling is the best bike out there! AZ has come to be one of our favorite states and for good reason. We've got a bunch of Route 66 videos out there. If you haven't seen the "Route 66 Legacy" documentary series, that was a great one too! A but more in depth on individual towns versus capturing the journey itself. Anyway, glad to see you out there doing your thing and thanks for the support!
We rode from Tampa to Chicago then followed Rte 66 all the way to Santa Monica Pier back in 2012, no gps or proper maps, all printed daily sheets, to say we got a lost a few times is a understatement lol
We did not look forward to that mess around LA so decided to make a detour near Cajon Junction and take the CA-2 through the Angeles National Forest, what an amazing road :)
Yes the 2 is a great choice. Wrightwood, Newcombs Ranch. 👍👍
Hey guys, you are the best I think.
I wil get this route 66 before I die.
Thanks for the support!! We hope you can make it out to see for yourself👍
@@2LaneLife However, I am affraid that I am living in korea. I have find out many proble to be solved to make it.
Drive me crazy when I see thumbs down on vids WTF.. God bless. 2 wheels down.. Keep it up fellas
Haha right? We appreciate your support Greg!!
Its a dream one day to ride around america, with living in ireland its like im riding with yous, the video quality is something else, feel like im on route 66, keep up the hard work really love the videos wish i had of found yous when yous started out, stay safe.
We hope you can make it happen one of these days Ian! Lots of great roads to see.
Thanks for that! We aim to put out the best content we can, and improve as we go. Glad we could share our travels and give you a sense of the journey.
Ride safe!
Highlight of the trip....Josh got kicked by an ass 😀
Brilliant coverage as usual you guys keep the rubber side down.
haha that was definitely a highlight 😂. Luckily Gaylin was filming and we were able to share that lol. Right back at ya ✌🏻
Me and the wife fallow we love you guys very informative not just cranking down the hwy like a lot of these other guys. Me and the wife are trying to plan a trip and marking a lot of the spots you guys hit thanks for all the info stay safe out there
Thanks Paul! Holler if you need any help planning. Dm us. 👍👍
Ha! You already knew about Oatman. :-) Sorry about that. I just watched Part 1. As a note, when you passed by Yucca on I-40, you passed the Harley Davidson Motorcycle test tracks. They lease/cooperate with Chrysler to use their tracks. They were in East Mesa at the GM Proving Grounds before 09, but moved to Yucca when GM sold here and went to Yuma. I was a professional HD motorcycle test rider for HD in 07 to 09. 2+ years. I was stunned to see Oatman so vacant. Usually the streets are filled with people and donkeys. That stretch from the 40 to Oatman to Kingman, is some of the bumpiest road I've been on. Killed my back and near shook everything on the bike loose. I ride a 2012 Dyna Superglide with 106K miles on it and an 03 anniversary Sporty with 75K on it. I like you and Lance's bikes, but I'm more alone the line of Josh's kind of rider. I rode my Sporty from Key West, to Homer Alaska to home. My Dyna from Phx to Key West to Homer Alaska to Glace Bay Nova Scotia to home. But I ride too slow for you boys. I could never keep up. 55 to 60 on my Sporty, 65 to 70 on my Dyna, is as fast as I go. And I got to hand another thing to you California boys, you scare the crap out of me with your lane-splitting. It gives me heart murmurs just watching. :-) But I really enjoy your videos. Ride safe. Great stuff. Thx.
Your videos are the best, makes me want to saddle up and get rolling down the road.
That's the goal! Thanks for the support, Steve 🤘🏼
Hey men! Enjoying your videos! Keep up the awesome work and fun! I plan to hit 66 myself now that the cooler weather is driving us south. 🐽 (Brotherly hog-hug)
Val Hoggard
Thanks for watching Val! We will. There may be some snow by now, but still a great run!
That's cool!
What you can't do while riding a bike in Korea.
1. We can't enter the highway.
2. Do not operate between lanes and lanes (driving between cars).
3. Driving only to the right edge.
In the case of four lanes (one lane, two lanes, three lanes, and shoulder roads cannot be operated) only on fourth lanes.
I envy you!
Wow! Nice to hear rules in other countries. Thanks for sharing.
super badass
A run for the books for sure! See you guys soon 🤘🏼
From a BMW GSA owner in UK......nice to see GS's out there 😆......seems to be Harley's everywhere on all your other vids.....Great informative video's guys !!
Haha they're there if ya look for em! It. was good to meet fellow riders on the road who are up for some adventure! Thanks for watching! 👍
this ride is on my to do list
Definitely one to check off the list, maybe even a couple times 👍🏼
Great job guys!
Thanks zmanzippy!
Channels like yours, Adam Sandoval, Million Dollar Bogan is what Harley needs to be putting the spotlight on. This is what owning and riding HD is all about.. Outstanding cinematography work. Keep it up fellas!
Thanks Tyler, we appreciate your support!
Beautiful scenery
It was a great Day!! 🤘🤘
Amazing video. Doing a road trip on Route 66 is on my bucket list for sure.
It's a good time!! An awesome experience to say the least. Tons of history and back roads along the way. Thanks for watching👍
Great ride. Thanks Been on 66 Thru Arizona but never in California.
Some great spots on both now that we’ve seen it.👍👍
Lane splitting should be legal everywhere. Cars are part of the traffic problem and motorcycles are part of the solution.
That's exactly right. It always takes a little getting used to when entering other states realizing it's not legal anymore. Maybe one day..
@@2LaneLife I commuted in LA on my bike for years before I moved to Washington state, boy was I in for a surprise and a complete 180 on how I commute. I was getting very confused as to why people were blocking me in and honking their horns. I guess attempting to murder a motorcyclist is better than letting us pass safely? Keep up the good work, love the videos!!
@@afidarkside haha yea that'll happen iguess. Makes sense if ya don't think about it! 😂. Thanks for watching!!
Excellent vids...Memories for me. I was born in Whittier back in the early 50's and grew up in Anaheim and Huntington Beach. Run most of the areas to Vegas and phoenix visiting family...Rubber side down guys and get on trucking...
We’re glad we helped with the memories. Thanks for the support!
FYI...heading out of San Bernardino on 66, you have to get on the 15 N at Cleghorn onramp. Then, take the I-15 to Oak Hill Rd. When you exit, you'll see the Summit Inn on your right. Turn left to continue on old Route 66 (Mariposa Road) through Hesperian and then Victorville. Turn left at 'D' street, and you're on old Route 66 all the way into Barstow.
Thanks Anton! We skipped a few small sections out there just trying to cover a little distance. We'll be riding the entire route again on its 100th anniversary.
Thanks for watching 👍
@@2LaneLife Damn....shame I'm not retired. I'd LOVE to make that trip with ya!!!!
Fr. Dale in Cincinnati
I'm planning to do the road from east to west in the spring (2022).
I did it on a Yamaha back in 1975. Wrote the story up for Road Rider Magazine. Anybody remember Roger Hull? He was the guy to got us all out there touring on two wheels.
Roger is no longer with us. His old Harley "Hound Dog" is on display at AMA headquarters in Ohio.
"Ride Safe!!!
Awesome. Sounds like you've got some great miles ahead. It should be pretty cool to see the differences across the route compared to what you saw in '75.
We've heard of him, that's pretty dang cool! The original 2Laner 🤘
Ride safe!
Those teepees where restored by a guy whom won the lottery! I am a new subscriber looking forward in your adventure! Wish I could be with you!
Whoa, pretty cool, we didn't know that! The Route 66 history never ends! Thanks for watching and for the support, Matt! We'll see ya down the road..

... that was great ! Looking forward to the next episode. I know you guys probably know .... but we have an original 66 gas station (now museum) (just like you stopped at in AZ) in Shamrock Texas. It is called "U Drop Inn". I hope you had a chance to stop .... THANKS for sharing
Thanks for watching, Paul! You'll see another vintage gas station that we stopped at in Shamrock TX likely in episode 3! Could be the same one, but we think this one was an old "Conoco" station. See ya down the road 🇺🇸

Thanks Edward, glad you're enjoying them! Plenty more on the way. We've since been back to Oatman a few times, but the most recent, we sat down with business owners and locals and documented the town more in depth on our "Route 66 Legacy" documentary series. Tons of great history out there!

Outstanding footage guys!
Thanks Michael! We appreciate it.
It’s not just the destination it’s the journey and the people along the way. We would take the roundabout way to Beaver Utah each year.
We couldn’t agree with you more!! Thanks for watching!
Loving the history guys puts a whole new perspective on 66, top ride looking forward to next week and the corrugated roads
Thanks Merritt! We do our best, but theres tons more history along the way. It sure is a great stretch of road. Thanks for tuning in, catch you next week, it should be a good one!
Great footage guys can only say that HD needs to have you guys do their commercials they may start to sell bikes again if they showed what they are meant to be used like. The country is just awesome out there can't wait to see more thanks for what you do be safe and keep the rubber down
Thank you for the kind words and comments Mark! We appreciate the support!!
Rewatching the Route 66 rides and loving it! You guys are awesome! Gonna do some epic rides when I’m retired and have time. I’ve learned a lot from your rides and really look forward to it.

Great job guys, I have ridden route 66 up through Williams a few times myself just love that area especially the stretch from Oatman to Kingman.
We dig that stretch as well! Thanks for the support and watching! 👍👍
Enjoyed the ride along with you on the first leg. Looking forward to more. A group of us rode 66 from Chicago to Oklahoma City back in June. Had a great time. Lots of interesting places and people along the way.
That was one of our favorite sections of the route! Oklahoma has some awesome views! Theres tons of places to stop and learn about, but we stopped where we could. Thanks for watching Jeff, see ya down the road!
Love it! We just did Parts of Route 66 from Barstow to Williams when we went to the Grand Canyon! Looking forward to seeing your next segment.

It sure was! We think you'll like the rest of them too. We liked the views a bit better after getting out of California. We hope so too, we would definitely like to ride abroad sooner or later 🤘🏼
Thanks as usual with the detailed video’s. I really enjoy the visual scenery and commentary you guys provide for those of us who can’t get out as much as we would like, except for maybe 2 weeks out of a year. I also wanted to say that I had ordered three 2LaneLife shirts and hats and they fit perfectly. We really enjoy wearing them and spreading the word about you guys in upstate New York. Keep the videos coming. Cheers.
Hey Dean! Thank you for the comments and support! And THANK YOU for rocking our gear! 2LaneLife 🤘🤘🤘
That road in AZ around the 20 min mark was awesome! I'm sub'd and ready for more. Great starting vid for the series 👍🏾
That was one of our favorite sections of 66 from the whole trip! Some great tight turns and elevation change, all while enjoying the sunset behind us. We'll definitely be back there in the future 🤘🏼
Thanks for the sub Ebon! We've got plenty more where that came from. Keep the rubber side down 🍻

Great video and is feeling it all again. Did it, in car, last September and what a trip. Love that you see so much of the US and not just the metropols.
And you are right! From time to time it it's hard to find and follow the original route
Thanks for watching, Casper! That's awesome to hear! No matter the vehicle, it's a great journey to make and there's endless things to see along the way. We always love getting out far away from the cities and just exploring what the country has to offer. We hit what we could
See ya down the road..
Awesome video guys!...Like always 😉. This is definitely a dream ride of mine, hopefully one day I’ll have the opportunity to ride the 66. Have a good one brothers...see you on the two lane 🤘
Right on, thanks Justin! Gotta get out and go see it. It's a ride to remember. See ya down the road 🤘🏼🇺🇸

Thank you Nelio!we appreciate your support!
Great video! Living in the high desert I’ve been on most all of that route myself. You missed a nice stretch between Victorville and Barstow though, some neat scenery there. Looking forward to part 2!
Awesome! There's definitely some great hidden roads out there. We may have missed that section just trying to get out of California on time lol. We'll have to check it out next time we're through there. Thanks for watching Chuck 👍🏼
Such a good video guys, well filmed and informative. Much anticipated and well worth the wait. Great work, keep it up.
Thanks from Sydney Australia
🤘🤘🤘
Thanks for that Kevin, we hoped it would be worth the wait. We think the next ones will be even better. Sydney in the house!!
It was a great start to the journey, I imagine the work of registering the various iconic locations on Route 66. Maybe that German lady was sad that you didn't stop at Bagdad Cafe for a hamburger. Waiting for the second episode, great soundtrack. Thank you guys.
Thanks Paulo. Couldn’t hit every stop but went by most! 👍👍
All I can say is super excellent and we look forward to watching Part II soon. All parts are very interesting and the history facts are a fantastic addition. The lane splitting seems a little tense...can't do that here in FL and if it was allowed, we'd all be dead the way drivers change lanes here. Be safe.
Thanks Jerry. Yes it’s a little sketchy but we try to be as safe as possible.
This is the best video...old 66

Rainy Sunday morning on the back deck with cigar and coffee in front of the fireplace - this was a happy find! Quality production, men. Love those Road Glides. I did 66 from Oak City to Williams a few years ago on my RGU. Wish we could've made it through to Santa Monica. Maybe next time. Lots of great towns along the way but I think Williams was my favorite. Nothing like all that roadside Americana. New subscriber - can't wait for the next episode.
Sounds like a great way to spend a Sunday! Welcome to the Family! We also love Williams as many of our episodes will reflect. Thanks for the comments and support!
