Hey sose...I'm in no way hatting...just curious what has made the mask at this time the price that it is? I know inflation is a real bitch...but what has made the mask cost a C note or what I like to call a orange feather?
And I say that cause a C note, which to those that don't know is a 100 dollar bill, but all C notes have a orange feather on it.
With that said...I have an ideas of why that might be...it seems tougher or looks tougher than your low level things that might look good but is cheaper materials. It also looks like the strap mylight be leather too...and as well I know your in a different location than me. Me being outta Dallas and the TX area I know there is goin to be a much different number on the economic side of things.
In just always try to expand my mind on things and or the current situation around me and what I am involved in....when one has proper knowledge they ride with precision and solid form...as well as help those around them do the same...if the other doesn't want to be the dumb potato in the group. That said keep ridin like pro.

Great advise as always. As 43 yrs on 2 wheels, the only advice I will give to new riders...if you are unsure..ask. Don't just 'do' and hope for the best. The key word in all of this, is 'perception'. As it is with non-biker society as well, it usually doesn't matter your intent, but the perception (by others) of your actions. Too many get themselves in trouble because they can't read a situation/individual or room. Life revolves around perception..

I have a EGA ( Eagle, Globe and Anchor) top rocker is Desert Storm Vet. Bottom rocker, Artillery ( my job in the Marines) Front over my heart are my ribbons, that I was awarded. Other side front, My the Marine Division patches. (3rd Marine Division, 1st Marine Division, 2nd Marine Division)
I was getting gas one day and I heard "Take that f'ng patch off" I looked around and saw two dudes coming towards me. "Take off that diamond patch" Two against one, I was out numbered and they didnt look like they were happy. I took off my vest laid it on my bike, took out my knife and was about to cut off My 1st Marine Division patch ( Blue diamond with a red 1). One of the guys asked, " You a Vet?" Me: "yes," told him when and where I served and even showed him My Vet ID card. Dude then says "Keep the patch, you earned it" I told him that "I meant no disrespect"
From there we talked for about 15-20 mins. I learned alot that day, and they learned as well.... they even invited me for a beer, but the is a story for another time.

Another thing you might mention is stickers on your bike. Back 30+ years ago after I retired from the military, I was riding 20K miles a year and hung out with a lot of bikers when I lived in Ohio. I got to be friends with a lot of Outlaws and one of them gave me a small sticker that said "Support your local Outlaws". He said that would let them know I was a friend and to leave me alone. I made sure I removed it when I moved out west to Angels territory. Not sure if they still do that now but having one of those on your bike is a good way to get noticed by unfriendly types, so let riders know to watch where you ride and what is on your bike..

(3:00) Proper punctuation is the key to good writing. Remember these three rules and soon you'll be writing like a champ! 👍🏾
    The apostrophe has three uses:
    1. To form possessive nouns
    2. To show the omission of letters
    3. To indicate plurals of letters, numbers, and symbols.
    * Do not use apostrophes to form noun plurals that are not possessives.

I guess I'm the odd man out here. l always hear this give respect earn respect mantra, but my experience so far has been nothing but being on the receiving end of rude and disrespectful treatment from the biker community, especially from the Harley riders, of which I am one. Attending various events and rides in my area in an attempt to meet new people and hook up with other riders has only been met with cold indifference, and in one case outright hostility towards me at a poker run hosted by a ministry club of all things, to not even being able to get the smaller independent shops to service my bike. It feels like because I'm not already part of some group I've been shut out, but cant seem to make any inroads to finding others to ride with. Makes it pretty difficult to want to be part of this community because I love to ride. Been doing it for years and do it every chance I get but ffs some of the most intolerable people I've ever met have been bikers.

speaking of. Im hoping that there is no claim to a good old skull and cross sword Jolly Roger right? my biggest fear is putting on a sticker like a standard pirate flag, and then having some biker with an ego try and use my naivety on the subject to start a problem I wasn’t looking for in the first place.

I always love your videos, so much good information. I'm not in an MC, but I'd like to support your channel by buying a Ghostavelli mask. Would that be disrespectful for me to wear it when riding here in Central Florida? The last thing I wanna do is be disrespectful to anyone.

One of my employees thought it was cool to wear a 3 piece patch that she bought off wish. I gave her fair warning that someone one day could take that patch off her back. Advised her just not to wear it.

I have one vest with 47 patches on it. Looks like a colorful piece of art. I made it years back before all the internet awareness. The front and sides are Air Force Vet, names of all my Harley motors through the years, and various humorous patches. The back is a top rocker says "HARLEY DAVIDSON" . Bottom rocker says "MOTORCYCLES". The center is a large Harley #1 with a very small "Michigan" sewn across it. There is no MC patch. It basically is a three piece, but was never meant to be disrepectfull or offensive. Just a decoration of the brand I love. Been riding since 1964 and am 73 years old. A bit confused ? Your comments are welcome. Much respect. SOSE, should I leave it hung in my cave?

Absolutely on point especially with a diamond 1% patch.
people who do not know just don't want to bring that kind of attention to themselves not just a diamond 1% but any diamond patch.
even 99 MCs do not want to have anything to do with wearing a Diamond 1% patch Due to it just brings the wrong kind of attention mostly by LEO.
if you are greeting a Brother wearing their colors with a hand shake and hug then touching their patch on a Kutt is unavoidable and not thought of as disrespectful.
it would be very foolish to wear any MC trademarked logo, Top Rocker or territory rocker is just plain dumb.
double trouble, from law enforcement and MC members.

Hey Sose, could you please maybe pass the word for this
Every MC (even 1%) they have clubhouses, I know in Detroit they are respected, maybe the members have a beef with the local LEO, please don't include the building inspectors with LEO. All they want is to make sure the clubs are compliant, HVAC, plumbing, exit doors, flooring (support not rotted) they don't care what goes on in the clubs, they just wanna make sure the structure is safe.
    Thanks and Everyone remember:
Look out for the riders!!! They also ride the roads!

My Dad was USAF and served 20+ years through Nam, Korea, and his own personal demons. He took his life 4 days after my birthday and I love and miss him dearly. He was my hero. Would it be okay if I had a small patch that read, "Proud Daughter - USAF"? I would never want to offend anyone who served; I just want to show my love for the amazing man I called "Dad." Thank you, Désirée

As a pilot, I’d love to have my pilot call sign put on my cut. In addition to this, I am no longer a prospect of the traditional MC I once was. I never got blacklisted, and I left peacefully and respectfully with no issues due to the nature of my job as an aviator. Would it be appropriate for me to put a standard full size Harley Davidson bar and shield Logo on the back of my cut with no top or bottom rockers?

  • @DobermansRock

You covered us Vets well. It was sparked by a ton of war stock Harley's and guys coming home from WWII.
We needed the brotherhood coming home and the adrenaline. Hollisters picture gave it some creedence.
I am looking at 3 MC cuts and a RG. Lots of good stuff going on in AZ.
Iraq and multiple other places Vet. I refuse to prospect. I already know what I need to do. Save that shit for the new guys.
23 years on HD. I learned all the right and wrong to know.
Bring up passing patches on the highway sometime. That can cause a ton of problems.

Youll never have more fun than you do when you're with a group of three piece patches and 1%ers, and boy let me tell you, they show you what loyalty really is. Nine times out of 10, a 1% will pretty respectfully ask you to remove a patch if he sees that you're a new rider. Just do it man, you'll have a lot more fun hanging out and earning it than you ever will just buying it.

  • @cwfirebird
    @cwfirebird 2 месяца назад

So the three piece is only approved clubs, who approves of the club? The outlaw clubs will wear a three piece if they choose to? Sounds like a rule of thumb, but no one knows who made the rule.

I understand and respect the MC brotherhood out there and will never wear their patches. They guard and highly revere their colors as well they should. They don't hand them out to just anyone.
Totally understandable. I feel the same about the U.S. Marine Corps Eagle, Globe and Anchor. I earned the right to wear and brandish the EGA through successfully completing boot, ITR and being a combat Vietnam War Veteran.
I believe the MCs memberhood feels the same about "posers" and stolen valor scabs like I do.
    Ride on MC brothers.

IDK if you've ever made a video that explains the different "levels" in club types and how to tell which is more your style. Like motorcycle associations, RC, MC, and 1% Clubs. Ministries, veterans, women's MC, etc. I think it would be a good video because I'm in a club featured in this video. We've had women/leo ask to join, and we explain we're an MC. Our state veteran motorcycle association is more their style. I just think there's a good chance to explain to those not familiar with how this world breaks down and help them find out what best fits them
