The diamond 13 patch was created in Southern California as an anti-AMA (American Motorcycle Association) common patch. It was used by the early outlaw clubs to mark their distinctions from the AMA clubs and also express their dissatisfaction and defiance of AMA. In the early 30s, AMA tried to take over the motorcycling and club scene. Resentful of the rules that AMA had set up, outlaw motorcycle clubs were born, and the 13-patch culture was birthed. The 13 diamond patch also stood for the top 13 racing outlaw motorcycle clubs in southern California. These top racing outlaw motorcycling clubs were awarded both the patch and trophy. They became part of what was called the diamond club. The diamond club was a small part of the southern California outlaw federation racing scene.
I'm not in an MC, but I am a member of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association/CVMA. We incorporate a Spade into our back patch. We've never had a problem with MCs concerning our patch.
I do not wear any patches on my cut, I some times tag along with some biker clubs, but never felt the urge to joining any. I am half Latino and half Dane, my motorcycle describes the half Danish side of me with a valkary painted on the tank, a viking shield on the rear fender and a Mjolnir on the front fender. Knowing quite a bit about viking history and culture, learning that runes being associated to white supremaci in the MC culture is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. There is no part in viking history saying that vikings where racist. It is time that MC clubs stop taking symbols that has nothing to do with the culture and repurposing as a completely different meaning. If someone is going to call me out as a white supremist because I have Viking symbols on my bike they can go fu** them selves, because they do not know shi* about Viking culture and hystory. Max respect to you Sose, keep up the good content comming. I know you do not make the rules with outlaw patches, but some of these rules are just BS.
So only a half of u is worthy of pride?, by the time real Latins were building things like the roman coliseum vikings were no much more than animals, even 1000 years later 😂
Wow man, your channel has GROWN!!!! Been away for a couple of orbits, but glad to see you doing well. One of the more "informed" channels on this subject. #KeepGhostin
Guess my age is showing...learned a lot of what you showed in this video from my decades of riding, with an old friend from 1% life style ...yet still learning from Demonsrow thanks for the lessons...Have a Happy Thanksgiving!! 😈
#ghostin Sose - While I have never had associations with MC culture, I am so glad you are putting the word out to people on what patches are acceptable and safe vs. Ones who might be questionable or outright ones you stay away from at all costs unless you are in that specific MC. You could be saving the live / lives of non 1%'ers or non affiliated riders by making videos like this. I seriously thank you for that, as my uncle just recently got a motorcycle and it could help to know these things.
Sose for those of us who don't get a chance to ride you are a great source of knowledge. For far too long people have gotten their info about bikers from the Media, the cops and some rather sensationalist writers. I've heard of some of these patches before but the people giving the "meanings" are not bikers. It's nice for someone inside the culture to give some straight information. I have friends that ride and Bikers and their supporters do show up at where I work. We have a Boozefighter, Vagos and there was an employee who had a "Trust us we're not the cops: 81 support club" on a Dodge Police Magnum. Bikers are people good, bad and someplace in between.
Very informative. A lot of patches that I never heard of, the red cross one in particular. 1%er I think is universal in all MCs, ours in particular, you can have the symbol on clothing if gifted to you by a board member, but never as a patch on the vest. We also put a lot of emphasis on the side-rockers, it is like a status of friendship with different chapters around the world and has to be gifted only by the president of the said chapter. All club patches are kind of self-explanatory, you need to be a member.
I wondered about the side rockers. I know a few 81 as they're particularly strong in my area (SE England). Quite often I'll see random members - either local or not - with side rockers from charters in other countries and always wondered why. I assume it's something along these lines.
As a former British army veteran I love nothing more than my family my country and my bike I am who I am and don’t try to be anything other than honest and true to those around me One simple rule, if you haven’t earned it don’t wear it
Love your channel its like a live FAQ for MC culture...I agree with everyone dont wear it if you didnt earn it and you aint in it...I will agree the skull and cross bones can be tricky since there are a ton of them in multiple styles, shapes, and messages...as you said stay away from any skulls that are tied to an MC....for me I like the skull styled stuff since im someone who has saved and lost many lives in the course of my career. Hats off for the content, keep it coming!
I'm not a rider, but this stuff is cool AF. I did read a book a few years called "No Angel" written by a cop that went under cover into the Hell Angels and ultimately got nothing out of it. I respect the culture.
As rule of thumb as a solo rider i dont wear a cut and i dont wear patches for that matter . Just not my style . If i go to a biker event i want to be able to mingle and talk bikes . But in general stay away from diamond patches or straight up club patches if your not in said club you dont have any buissnes wearing them .respect the fact members put in work and 999 out of 1000 you wil be allright. But that's from my POV and experience.much love Sose info like you put out might keep some one from getting hurt otherwise
MCs sometimes do sell merch, however, a shirt doesnt make you a member, its if you got a cut you didn't earn. If your walking in a supporter shirt claiming to be what your not, thats also a problem. However, merch is different at different times, if its not advised you wear it by members, it could be for a reason and not because its them that have a problem, rivals could be in the area and they dont want you getting hurt or taking fire just for being a supporter mistaken for a hangaround or even prospect. Rider or not, its all about respect and just being yourself. If you are wearing anything and a patched member requests you take it off, do so and make sure to apologize, casually buy em a beer and start cracken jokes, youll be fine, theyll realize you really werent doing it outta disrespect however, if your in a full patched cut, thats more serious. Loving your content man!
I am a 1%er. I'm a veteran, part of the 1% of citizens who have served. If some biker wants to give me shit about it, then they should be prepared to get some pushback.
Why would any vet who is not in fact an outlaw want to wear ANY outlaw biker regalia? The diamond is specifically from outlaw culture so no (intelligent) reason exists to wear it outside that culture. Veterans have plenty of actual MILITARY insignia (the diamond is not that) so why wear civilian crap as a veteran? Biker regalia meanings are defined by their DOMINANT COMMUNITY use, just like other meanings. When you wear a diamond you are making a specific statement and it does not matter what it means to you. Why would anyone need symbols which mean nothing outside their own head when the point of symbols is COMMUNICATION. BTW being a veteran is not some special accomplishment as any vet knows. Plenty of chitbags drag themselves to MEPS and work their way through Basic then serve out their hitch because they don't screw up enough to get booted. Real vets don't care about recognition outside of our peers, and a diamond has no meaning there except in the motorcycle-borne organized crime sense. I could assert a diamond made me a member of the Mickey Mouse Fan Club but no one else sane would do anything but laugh.
Been to several shows and events hosted by the local dominant club. Here in the UK all the members I have met and spoken with have always been courteous, polite and funny. I guess it's down to mutual respect and good manners. I have learned by a past mistake. Luckily resolved and hands shaken. The members here don't seem too bothered about most bike related patches. I guess it's because it's a slightly different MC culture. Any hostility lies between the two biggest clubs in the country and has lead to deaths on each side in the past but this is extremely rare. As usual the press do not help. The cops actually seem to have some level of respect.
Never wear a patch you didn't earn. One patch I don't think I'll ever earn is the red cross. I've never heard that meaning behind it either, but I sure wouldn't want to give somebody the wrong impression on that.
Good luck but it's a different ball game when you're a part of a 1%er club or OMC. I got plenty of boys who are in black outlaw clubs.... solid friends for sure but it can be really difficult at times. It's not that easy to just throw on a patch. Do your research, hang around for a long time and then if you prospect and it's something you want, go for it. Most importantly, learn how to ride long hours and in formation.
Iron Kross is the emblem of the Army of Greater Europe. This is worn by Catholic Bishops. This dates back thousands of years. No biker can tell anyone not to wear it. The entire German Armed Forces has it painted on their vehicles. As Knights of Columbus, We wear it. I've worn whatever I've wanted Forever. No biker has ever said a word to Me.
My uncle was a 1% member...Sons of KY back in the 80s. I don't know if they just disband or were patched over. I don't wear these out of respect for a brotherhood that was good to me.
One thing ppl need to realize about one percenter patches, is 9 times out of 10 they were earned while defending their lives, what were they to do when a rival club rolls up and sicks their newest prospect on you with the intention of ending you.
The 1%er patch came about when Broderick Crawford stated in a late 50's episode of Highway Patrol that 99% of motorcyclist were law abiding citizens according to the AMA. That episode featured Clint Eastwood and a friend riding customized Triumphs. That episode is still available for watching on Utube.
Plan on getting a bike and riding with some friends I just want to thank you for your videos you are a wealth of knowledge. Not going to be joining any MC. Just going to be cruising with some dudes I served with. We have a 1% clubhouse where I live and your videos really helped in showing them respect with us and what we are doing. Not only did we get permission one of their OG’s showed my bro how to tweek his fat boy a little bit. Keep them vids coming. And I am subscribed. Thank you sir
Very good show, I would add, be respectful of club colors when having patches made at biker events. This could save you getting a beat down. Much Love and Respect to Sose #ghostin
I’m not in a MC but when I came home from military time a lot of my buddies I grew up with became club members! Having just getting out of a culture that had a lot of people telling me what to do so the last thing I needed as a civilian was people telling me what to do as a probate!!!That said I rode with them partied hard with them etc!!! I have patches on my leather and can give anyone a reason why I wear the patch. I wear 2- nazi SS in remembrance of my grandfather who took the patch off a dead nazi he shot in WW2! My POW/MIA for my moms brother who died in Korea trying to help a MASH unit pull out fromthe front and a silver bar for my older brother who was shot down flying a F-4 phantom over Viet Nam! So I feel that if you wear a patch you should have a reason. Am I wrong in thinking this?
The only thing that some might find wrong about wearing them is that they aren't any achievements of your own. Also, the SS patch will undoubtedly cause people to think you belong to a certain group.
Ok, say you meet an MC at a bar, and they ask you about your SS patch. They think the answer is bs, so then they ask you about your POW patch. You give them some story like the one you gave us. They will call you out so quick, then they'll do one of two things. Either let you enjoy your beer and leave, or they'll forcefully remove those patches for you.
@@bryano2130bye your own reasoning MC shouldn’t wear SS badges unless they too are Schutzstaffel ( SS ) the same would apply to the Prisoner of War ( POW ). However in the UK a person who hasn’t received a military medal may wear it on the opposite side to some who had received that medal so as to distinguish the difference! This is usually done on Armistice Day 11th of November to honour/remember fallen loved ones.
Bless you and all your family, have a great turkey day. And again? Ty for what you do, it benefits us who know club life and those who don't but want to learn
“The Motor Company,” pulled an item a few years ago. I think it was a shirt. It was part of the HDMC line, but apparently crossed the line in its design. It apparently made it to the sales floor before they figured out it was a bad idea. I can’t find anything online about it.
Some of the patches "not allowed" is childish, but none the less, opt for the safer riding rout. Do clubs still wear different color wings "symbolic" and if so, could you review on that?
I once saw someone on the internet selling counterfeit Hells Angels patches; a set of the top rocker, the Death's Head, and the bottom rocker. The bottom rocker said Oakland. Any civilian wearing those colors and pretending to be a Hells Angel better have a liking for hospital food, because they will be eating it for a long time. Another patch is the red & white 666. That will get you into trouble. I ride a Triumph 900cc triple, and my jacket has Triumph patches. Never a problem.
Got a question? I have an idea for a iron cross made into the backrest to light up for rear riding light n turn signals n break lights is that something that would be ok to put on bike
I don't want to show any disrespect to anyone and ti know iron cross symbol represents different and I don't want to offend the ones that fought in war I just like the look n ideal I have that's why I asked this question
I don't run patches on my cut, but do use pin insgnias on front: on left I have skull w/crossed swords below which is a Maltese cross to signify warrior, on the other side I wear my military qualifications and rank (from many years ago) and I'm inked with wife's name inside a cross and have never had probs as an independent rider.
Sose, is there a reason why you didn't show the Dequiallo patch? I have no idea what it looks like. I am not in a MC, but I find the MC Culture very interesting! I've learned a ton from watching your videos. Please keep them coming and continue to shed light on the Culture! #Ghostin
Not sure where to ask this but here we go. I was riding with a friend of mine from Russia. He wears a jean jacket still sleeved its filled with a bunch of Russian military patches on it and the back has a Russian Flag with a straight patch underneath it that says bad boy in Russian. We were approached one night outside a bar we just stopped at. These 5 guys told my friend to take off his jacket and give it to them before they ripped it off him. He looked at them and said if you have a problem with me, we will gladly leave but i will not give you my jean jacket and trying to take it from me will not be good for any of us. i never seen the patch these guys had before but i recognized the patches of the next three that walked up. My Friend looked at them and said my buddy has nothing to do with this will you allow him to leave. Another guy came up looked at my friend and said follow me waved everyone else off told them to let me go inside. Watching out the window they both started pointing at different military patches they had and talked ended up chugging a pitcher of beer each and came inside ended up having a great time but i don't understand what the first groups problem was. sorry for the book #ghostin
When you get people from different parts of the world and different cultures, that can be a issue. Some patch may mean something to one person and something else to somebody else. I support anybody wearing a patch they earned, and don't blame them at all for protecting it. If those guys had a problem with one or more of his patches, a better approach would have been to just start a friendly conversation with him and politely questioned him about them. Sounds like it was just a big misunderstanding and one group thought a patch meant one thing, and your friend thought it meant something else. People need to mind their own business. This is a moto of lots of 1% clubs, but to a some of its members it means to stay out of our business, but we have the right to get into yours. As long as a patch isn't a exact patch of a known club patch, I don't think it's worth getting physical over. Maybe a conversation to try to find the patch wearer's intentions, and if he just gets smart about it or you find out he's trying to claim something he didn't earn, deal with it however you see fit, but if it's just a honest mistake there is no need to trying to forcibly remove the offending patch. I've been around a long time, and have learned over the years that it is much better to try to talk though a situation than get physical. I don't wear any patches, but you try to lay hands on me to remove something on my person, you may or may not whip me, but we are fixing to find out.
Swastika is an ancient emblem which Finns brought with them to Europe when they walked from Eurasia before the Ice Age slammed shut. This is an Ancient Rune. No biker can tell anyone they cannot wear it. Let alone a Finn. I've worn whatever I've wanted Forever. No biker has ever said a word to Me.
Bro I can’t find a local MC in my area. This is the only channel I go to getting updates on the do’s and don’ts on the motorcycle world. Thanks for what you do man. I need to grab that Ride more politic less hat man
The Iron Cross is a pretty common piece within the Hardcore Punk and Skinhead community though, both Traditional Skins and unfortunately Boneheads too.
The rune stuff not so easy mate ...the anglo saxons also used runes they used the younger futhark the norse used the similar latter futhark runes ...thre maybe even an Egyptian connection ...eg the runes in lord of the rings are from the younger futhark ...check your runes before you tattoo or get a patch done one rune one has a very sinister connection ...there is i believe a slight difference between the rune nowadays 🤘
As a member of an MC I buy our local 1% support shirts and hats but seldom wear them as we already wear a support patch and I feel you should wear your own club gear. I buy support gear for support and as collectibles. Sadly it does happen and have seen were Johnny citizen buys support gear and gets jammed up and throws the club name out there like their a member NOT A GOOD IDEA!!! Also as a Veteran this pertains to us also see people wearing patches of a certain branch or unit mostly claiming to be with or served as Special Operations Operator generally you won't see one decked out or bragging in say Seal patches or anything saying they were one. Same as MC clubs while dressed in civilian clothes 90% of time you wouldn't know you were around one unless they have visible tattoos with club insignia. Thanks for the videos don't get to watch much but when I do you have good content and keep it respectful to all clubs 1% or just MC.
@KenDavid , please don't compare 1%'ers with military operators. The two are completely different and the Spec Warfare community does not deserve to be compared with criminal outlaws for any reason. I don't think you are doing that on purpose, it was just a poor comparison.
Hey man one the patches you have on your video post is a diamond patch with a trident in it. It's a patch from a black metal band called Watain. They have a couple diamond patches, if it's from a band is it still taboo?
A good idea... Shakespeare wrote"Discretion is the better part of valor"... Enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday all...Be thankful for what you do have as there's many people who don't have.
i think its cool when you get patches from runs or events like the old timers having like a whole bunch of old sturgis patches or bike runs those are cool less is more tho i agree
#ghostin ... Another excellent batch of great knowledge !! I'm in a Red n Gold support MC, and we wear a ♦️13 and in R&G world it stands for MOTORCYCLES, and is an "earned" patch and taken very seriously!! I always say, don't wear it if you didn't earn it, because YES, it can get you in a serious bind in the wrong crowd. Keep up the great work Sose 👍👍🤘
In Australia 🌏🦘,my mother club would be removing the diamond patches of any vest that don't belong there unless you have and can prove your Military pilot license
This is good stuff to know, I appreciate you sharing this information, I have a lot of customers who are bikers and the last thing I want to do is piss anyone off
I used to know a guy who was obsessed with the Angels he used buy all sorts of HAMC gear like shirts hoodies and even wore HAMC rings, I always told him not to wear that shit without permission, he always laughed it off claiming they wouldn't sell it if wasn't ok to wear, Sure enough he ran into some angels in a pool hall, he got a horrific beating and his fingers broken along with all his rings and paraphernalia confiscated... Don't be flying flags for clubs you ain't in with
Wearing anything requires respect and the proper bond (Member, Family, etc.) with proof/witness/legacy or things can get deep double quick. Be Proud, not stupid.
I work for my local fire department and I want to wear an ace of spades because I am willing to die serving my community. I also want to add, I got our Fire Protection District badge patch and it's got the 3 villages we protect, does that kinda count as a side rocker because it's got territory.
#GHOSTIN! My club has a Center patch that is an iron cross we started in 1959 the first outlaw mc in North Dakota. West Coast Choppers used to rub me raw. Because of a incident that's some unaffiliated A hole had a West Coast Chopper shirt and got in trouble with the law they didn't catch the idiot so the cop's come to the club house and harassed us looking for this idiot so you really got to watch out who's wearing what
What up fellowghosted. I just went to the sight and I was wondering since it didn't say what is the mask made out of..like what it made of whats the inner lining made if? I swore ya made video saying most of this I'm lookin into comforte and whether or not snd when I might need to wear an extra face covering which I have a few for the wind and stuff. #ghostin
A man been watching yo shit and a couple of my homies too. First off, you come off as a real dude. It's cool. But booty ass reasons why this or that isn't going down? I'm spending my time watching please make it worth it mine. Not trolling but if something can't be mentioned then don't. Again bunch of respect to you. Cool ass Chanel.
I learned the runic alphabet as a kid. The stories my grandma would tell me were mostly Norse myths. Sometimes the runes would be mentioned in the stories. On many occasions, knowing this simple alphabet has come in handy, when seeing them on patches and tattoos. Unfortunately, most of the time they're spelling out some supremacist slogan shit. But every once in a while they're not! That's always nice to see, because they never had anything to do with hate-groups. It's just an old alphabet, like any other. They can even be used to write bedtime stories. :)
I wear half of those patches and have god damn earned them, club or no club, a 1%er doesn't have to be part of a club, they just have to be an outlaw on a bike, I wear my colours with pride and nobody will stop me ☠️
#ghosting !!!!!!!! Love from Fresno and Bakersfield, California, brotha I enjoy watching your videos your very professional, and straight up and full of joy and hope to educate us on any type of topic of the MC and the hood and just life in general SEMPER FI !!!!!!!!
I think I'm gonna play it safe and go by the rule of thumb you taught me and never wear a patch I didn't earn if I'm in a club. #Ghostin Edit: I think if I'm not in a club, I'm only going to rock American pride patches like American flags, bald eagles, etc
I'm pretty sure the trident/pitchfork on the thumbnail is from the band Watain. The fact that its in a diamond shaped patch is what might cause some interrogations.
Good video. Quick question; the patch shown on the right side in the thumbnail, looks kind of like a pitch fork. Didn’t see that covered. What does that one mean?
As far as I know, it’s related to the Swedish Black Metal Band Watain and I planned on putting one of their back patches on my vest but now I’m also curious why it’s on the thumbnail.
@@FranzVonDerAlm yeah dude. That’s exactly what I thought too. Was checking to see if it meant something else. I’ve seen Watain play twice. It smells a little but definitely a Bad ass show 🤘
I may wear an Ace of Spades patch if I ever come across one. Never rode sleds much but the time in the Corps and bull riding may lead me to get it. Bikers and cowboys is a pair no full house would want to mess with.
@@tomjones7216 my friend, it ain't about who's tougher. We both love our freedom, we both will not be pushed, and we will both defend what we believe in to our last breath. A man who feels they are in the right won't be beat because they just keep coming.
When I was a boy one of the men of our area thought I was in mortal Danger. So he snatched me out of the water. Mostly by one arm and dropped me on the deck. I landed on my feet. He asked many questions about what I thought I was doing. As I answered him he stopped me in the middle of my explanation. He did a kind of a stutter which I think was put on. His voice was very familiar to me. He asked about the patch that was on a cut-off jeans just below the left pocket. I said what my skull and crossbones. He replied yes why are you wearing that. I told him that my family adopted that as part of our crust in 1746 after the battle of Culloden Moore. Then in 1817 another one of my four bearers & his brother were asked to leave Galveston Bay . They complied but not until they dropped yards of two ships on to their deck. I said well what's fast forward to today. Last year my family manufactured more rat poison in any other family in the world. At that point I thought I was pretty sure who he was. I asked him if he had noticed the embroider on the bones. He said " No, What does it say?". I wondered if he would recognize the words. I quoted it very simply "Nemo me impune largesse. I asked if he knew what it meant? He Said that was the motto of his house. I asked him if it on his B-24. I have retold the story whenever I've been asking about my skull and crossbones. It has almost always ended up with us drinking until the wee small hours. El Degüello became kind of my song when we were on the border & I would ask a woman to dance between sets would almost always end up in a brawl. So two of our smart-ass violinists as they used to say we play that when you're on the prowl because it's going down. And yes I had people on my mother's side inside the Alamo. If on RUclips search Rio Bravo Degüello you'll be able to hear the tune. The fake emperor of Mexico had his musicians play it for 13 days straight during the siege of the Alamo.
Veterans of the armed forces own the 1% legitimately. It represents the amount of free men and women who willingly fill the billets to militarily defend the Republic of the United States of America.
If you are over 30 years old and you are worried about somebody wearing a patch You're a Sad human being. It's wrong to be a bully. Let people pass you on the road. Why would you want somebody to follow you. That don't make sense. it's not that serious. Calm down. Take care of your family, ride safe, happy Thanksgiving! #AndStayGhostin
I ride with a veterans Mc. Some of us have diamond patches on our cuts(1 marine division wich has a 1 in the middle and the fourth mar div with a 4 in the middle). Always get a hard stare from 1% ers i run into when out and about when im ridding.
I know quite a few people who wear 1% without being affiliated with an MC. OFC they have other connects and a do a lot of actual "outlaw" activity. You can be in an MC, that doesn't necessarily mean you're any sorta gangster or outlaw. If you wear the 1%, symbolic of being an outlaw, you gotta be able to back it up. You dont need a whole MC to back it up, some people have enough folk for that.
also, the aces got a TON of history, I know people who have the "dead mans hand" tatted on themselves. Lots of "1%" outlaw history connected to it, lots of real life outlaw stuff. Also be aware in some spaces it means you like bbc.
6:50 The supreme irony of the skull and bones is tjat during the age of piracy if you saw a ship flying the skull and crossbones flag it meant tou were going to be robbed but would probably survive. If the pirate ship was flying a blood red standard it meant: "say a prayer and make your peace with god because you're going to be meeting him soon enough".

Diamond patches are for the plane squadron....

I wear a heavy metal battle vest. I don't ride with it on much. It has the band Mötorhead Ace of Spades patch and a round 13 patch for stoner rocker.
For life. Anybody worth a shit will give you respect for an Ace of Spades Motorhead patch no matter who they are.
Nothing but love and respect for Lemmy Kilmister. Anyone who isn't a fan of Motorhead can eat a 🍆
🤘 😖🤘🎸🎶🎶
Thanks for all you do Sose. Always droppin knowledge.
He's out here giving free knowledge. Sose deserves more exposure especially with his outlook on "Ride More. Politic Less"
Thank you david
Great video once again sose happy thanksgiving bro.....
Happy thanksgiving bro
#ghostin Sose - While I have never had associations with MC culture, I am so glad you are putting the word out to people on what patches are acceptable and safe vs. Ones who might be questionable or outright ones you stay away from at all costs unless you are in that specific MC. You could be saving the live / lives of non 1%'ers or non affiliated riders by making videos like this. I seriously thank you for that, as my uncle just recently got a motorcycle and it could help to know these things.
Appreciate you
1%ers are such outlaws that they wait for permission to wear certain patches lol.
Yea I think it’s like anything there’s good an bad
Respect man. I am just loving your videos.
As a former British army veteran I love nothing more than my family my country and my bike I am who I am and don’t try to be anything other than honest and true to those around me One simple rule, if you haven’t earned it don’t wear it
Ace of Spades ♠️. I had no idea about that association. I've had brushes with death. Time to adopt that symbol as my own.
Hats off for the content, keep it coming!
appreciate you
I'm not a rider, but this stuff is cool AF.
Appreciate you
Same dude. If I ever do put any kinds of patches on my riding jacket, it'll be something funny just to crack up other people on the road.
Appreciate you
I always like his analysis, he always presents it neutrally.
Appreciate you
Agreed 👍 his knowledge is just one of the best I've been able to find
I am a 1%er. I'm a veteran, part of the 1% of citizens who have served. If some biker wants to give me shit about it, then they should be prepared to get some pushback.
But 6% of the US population has served? You more just sound like youre full of yourself for killing Iraqi kids.
I'm a double 1 percenter or two times volunteer because I went airborne. Which ever you like 😂
Respect 💯 to the 1%

Been to several shows and events hosted by the local dominant club. Here in the UK all the members I have met and spoken with have always been courteous, polite and funny. I guess it's down to mutual respect and good manners. I have learned by a past mistake. Luckily resolved and hands shaken. The members here don't seem too bothered about most bike related patches. I guess it's because it's a slightly different MC culture. Any hostility lies between the two biggest clubs in the country and has lead to deaths on each side in the past but this is extremely rare. As usual the press do not help. The cops actually seem to have some level of respect.
So true
I've noticed that as well; the UK chapters of our 1%er MC's seem to be more laid back, ours* are more hardcore.
*USA, Canada, Australia
Never wear a patch you didn't earn. One patch I don't think I'll ever earn is the red cross. I've never heard that meaning behind it either, but I sure wouldn't want to give somebody the wrong impression on that.
Because of you, I’m about to buy me a bike next month and try to find me a onepresenter black club
1presenter i like it lol
@@berealz9701 learning to ride in formation is so important. Rules are there for a reason. Good luck.
As a friend and occasional guest at a local club this information is awesome

Iron Kross is the emblem of the Army of Greater Europe. This is worn by Catholic Bishops. This dates back thousands of years. No biker can tell anyone not to wear it. The entire German Armed Forces has it painted on their vehicles. As Knights of Columbus, We wear it. I've worn whatever I've wanted Forever. No biker has ever said a word to Me.
I wear it because I am a German and most man in my family were in the Military back to the days of old Prussia. It is part of my family’s history.
Thank you for the education. I did not know about this information
My uncle was a 1% member...Sons of KY back in the 80s. I don't know if they just disband or were patched over. I don't wear these out of respect for a brotherhood that was good to me.
Always rocking the knowledge !! Thanks !
Appreciate you
One thing ppl need to realize about one percenter patches, is 9 times out of 10 they were earned while defending their lives, what were they to do when a rival club rolls up and sicks their newest prospect on you with the intention of ending you.
Truth
The 1%er patch came about when Broderick Crawford stated in a late 50's episode of Highway Patrol that 99% of motorcyclist were law abiding citizens according to the AMA. That episode featured Clint Eastwood and a friend riding customized Triumphs. That episode is still available for watching on Utube.

You’re making a huge mistake.
Yea, dude, that makes total sense.....I'm sure your grandpa is proud of you rocking an ss patch. You're special
Bless you and all your family, have a great turkey day. And again? Ty for what you do, it benefits us who know club life and those who don't but want to learn

Do you know if “the motor company” employees somebody in their clothing division who makes sure their items aren’t stepping on anyones toes?
I dont think companys do that
“The Motor Company,” pulled an item a few years ago. I think it was a shirt. It was part of the HDMC line, but apparently crossed the line in its design.
It apparently made it to the sales floor before they figured out it was a bad idea. I can’t find anything online about it.
This one is a good one...never heard such a vivid descriptions of patches elsewhere...🧐

Some of the patches "not allowed" is childish, but none the less, opt for the safer riding rout. Do clubs still wear different color wings "symbolic" and if so, could you review on that?
I’m not in a MC. But I really like y’all’s videos very informative. That you ride safe bless you.
If you are not an MC Do Not wear Any patch associated with any MC Club, unless you have been Invited or Encouraged by an MC to do so.

Yea ive seen it i need to talk about that more
You all way have good information keep the good stuff up. Thanks

Got a question? I have an idea for a iron cross made into the backrest to light up for rear riding light n turn signals n break lights is that something that would be ok to put on bike
It's your bike. Guess you can do it if you want to

yes you have permission lol

Welcome aboard!
#Ghostin
Bro I messed up on the edit thanks for calling me out lol
I 'm glad I read this, I rewound a few times.
Yea that’s why I give the info you never know who you run into
When you get people from different parts of the world and different cultures, that can be a issue.
Thanks for the vid sose👍. Love ya ma brother✌️❤️

There's a small northern California club that has those 2 bolts on their patch and I wana say it's a club called the alcoholic haulers..

@@lawtecke9427presumably yes so long as it’s not contained within a diamond like the 1%/1%er patches

Whew , relieved that my SOA patch wasn't on the list....😆😆
Talk about the filthy few patch with the lightning bolts 😈

The supreme irony of the skull and bones is tjat during the age of piracy if you saw a ship flying the skull and crossbones flag it meant tou were going to be robbed but would probably survive.
If the pirate ship was flying a blood red standard it meant: "say a prayer and make your peace with god because you're going to be meeting him soon enough".
