I was only 20 years old and had been on the road for a little over a thousand miles on my bike by myself. I stopped at a gas station when a couple of 1%ers pulled in behind me. I hopped of my bike and started stretching out my stiff back when I looked over and all 3 of us were doing the same stretches. We all had a bit of a laugh, talked about needing more comfortable seats, talked about miles road and miles ahead. After I came out of the store, they offered me the opportunity to cruise with them for a few miles until their next exit. It one of my favorite riding memories. A couple of super chill old timers enjoying the road. I must've done something right.
When I was younger I went around a couple of cars in traffic so I could pull up next to a Warlock. I asked him if he could pull over with me at the gas station ahead and talk to me about what it took for membership, he did. We shook hands, introduced ourselves and he respectfully answered all of my questions. I won’t say his name but he’s damn good man.
My mother always said “treat people the way you want to be treated.” I guess this applies to 1% too. I’ve had several encounters with 1% riders over the years. Never had anything but pleasant conversations with them.
I'm a chiropractor, I also love weight training. Id talk to a guy about that kind of stuff if somehow we struck up a conversation. I knew one fellow who unfortunately passed away a few years back that powerlifted and refereed a few meets that was a Hell's Angel. Nice guy, he died of a hospital infection unfortunately.
It doesn’t have to be a 1% man to man look a person eye to eye speak up stand tall and say hello 1%s are people who deserve respect like anyone else I pride myself in that I can communicate with anyone on any level from the streets to the boardrooms because I see everyone as equal no one is better or less than me or the next person it’s all about respecting yourself and others
WELL SAID MY MAN. Ya doesn’t matter if he’s got the cut or a 3 piece business suit . Hold your hand out , look him in the eye, and make sure your handshake is firm. Nothing worse then a little wimpy scraggly handshake, tighten up brother!
I'd just rebuilt the engine on my pickup when I stopped at a little Iowa gas station to tune it. A great man approached me and asked if he could help. He was a wrench in life and just there for the club meeting heading to Sturgis. Even with my aftermarket parts he adjusted my timing by ear, we reset the plugs and EFI and he drove it to the stop sign then launched a few times. When I explained I pull a trailer heading to Montana, he readjusted the timing and schooled me on how to set the TBI once I got to elevation. As a fellow rider I was honored to have the help even though he hadn't seen my bikes or could have known I was a rider. Modern technology still escapes me on engines so I was glad to have the help and knowledge. I make it a point to always show LLH& RESPECT to all club members. I was a single Dad at the time, just getting out of the Army due to disability, that man gave so much in an hour in a gravel lot he'll never know. I am eternally grateful! You are in my prayers Hoka Hey
My dad was a police officer and had arrested several Bandidos in his time. He said he always treated them with respect and made sure to call the flat bed wrecker, when he had to, so their bikes wouldn't be damaged from the tow. My dad rode a Harley as well. There was an occasion where two of them approached us out in public, one of them was called Cactus Jack I believe, and said hello. They obviously weren't going to be friends with a cop but they were friendly and shot the shit with us for a few. I've learned a lot from my dad and miss him a lot.
Ran into a old school Warlocks MC member just nodded my head and said love the shirt. Be safe and have a good day. His son came up to me and said you did good. My dad is one of the original members and you showed respect. Just show respect to get it.
@@papabird4425 I paid respect to the old biker cause I know who the Warlocks MC is and what they can and will do if you disrespect them. Show respect you get respect.
@LLVoid82 so you have to do a ritual display or they'll hurt you? Seems ridiculous. What kind of grown American adult that believes in freedom and justice behaves that way?
#ghostin. Great episode. I was chatting at the 81st Sturgis Rally with some 1%ers. I did exactly what you recommended here, I went up smiling and very friendly but respectful and it worked.
My man and I were at a gas station just the other day and another rider pulled into the pumps, walked right over to him, and the first thing out of his mouth was “What club are you with?” and “Do you know (so and so)?” My man wasn't wearing his cut, just a vest, and t-shirt hadn't said a word to him yet! This dude was straight up 5-0, trying to look like a biker! All my man did was shake his head, told him to have a good day, and we rode off! Normally he’ll speak with anyone that approaches him the right way (like you, T-Rod and Fetch just talked about) Ya just gotta be able to read people! Much Love!❤️
I’m glad you made this Video Sose! Being from AZ and Prospecting for a Club. 1% are some of the coolest guys I’ve ever met. A firm handshake and good greeting makes a world of a Difference!
Been around 2 diamond clubs. All of them solid dudes. These guys are regular dudes like anyone else. One of our dominant diamond members here is an engineer for Microsoft. This ain’t SOA. Jax Teller doesn’t exist and he’s not gonna lay you out for saying hello. ANY true biker will lay your ass out for acting stupid or disrespecting. Not just a club member.
Had to get my blessings from the dominant 1% club in my area and had that sit down solo. Be humble and respectful as a man and stay solid that's the key.
EVERY encounter I have had with any 1% er has always been cool and casual. It didn't hurt that I went to school with quite a few dudes that went that route, so I was pretty well versed in their culture at a young. Prime example! My daughters school was 2 blocks from a small clubhouse, and she had to walk past it to get to school. My daughter, 14 was being bullied on her walk home by 2 older boys. It was almost summer time, and 3 full patch members were out front bbq'ing, and saw what was happening. They started walking over and one of the boys took off right away, the other thought he would be a tough guy...lol....no severe, physical contact was made, but I can tell you, my daughter was NEVER bullied again. They even walked her the rest of the way home and told her, to tell them, if those boys or anyone else ever bothered her again. I actually dropped off a case of beer and some homemade pasta to them later that night, as a thank you, when I heard what happened! It would be great if the media would show the GOOD they do for the community. Do you know how many toys drive some of their chapters do at Christmas time? Bicycles they have bought for kids, whose families can't? It's like anything in life, not just in the outlaw MC world; if you go looking for trouble, you will find it! But if you give respect, you're honest and sincere, 99.9% of the time, you will receive the same. MLLHR, Sose!
All facts, I was out selling oils and perfume on the street yrs ago. A whole club rolled up to the gas station on their way to Vegas. I sat my back pack down and approached them with caution and respect not FEAR! It was all love bro they bought everything I had before leaving. I never pitched anything to them but they respected my Hustle! TRUE STORY OF RESPECT!💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 #idontride
Having spent a few years working at an HD dealer, I met a lot of 1%ers. Most of them were nice people who just enjoyed motorcycles, brotherhood, and having a good time. I can honestly say that I never felt nervous or in any danger talking with them. For the most part (in the shop at least) they were pleasant guys. Law enforcement seems to want the general public to think they're all criminals, which is ridiculous.
❤My blood Brother was a Motorcycle Police, he retired after 30 years and said that some of the most despised people (by other Police standards, who didn't ride) treated him with the most respect of any "1 group" of people, during his whole career, the 1%ers gave him much more respect, than they ever got back from the "Thin Blue Line".
I've never had any issues with bikers, MC's or 1%'s. My friend a long time ago explained hardcore MC's and 1%'s this way.... You will be evaluated as a "Threat Level" first and then as a fellow human being after. You want to project yourself as non-threatening and the rest comes easy. Much love and respect.... #Ghostin Same reason you don't want to blow by them on the road.
I met quite a few 1% men when i was a kid about 13 years old at a Vietnam Veteran reunion some of the best men I ever met outside of my military brothers. Respect is paramount.
Some 1%ers rolled into a service station when I was hanging around outside. They went inside and one of them left his keys in the ignition. I went over to him and said hi and pointed out the keys. He laughed and said "cheers, but I always leave them in and nobody ever steals it" 😂
I'm the Vice President of my club and not to long back I had a run in with a Outlaws M.C. member. First off I want to acknowledge the fact the man was checking in on my cut and wanting to know who we was. The 1%er was straight serious when he first approached me about my cut, I showed him respect, removed my glasses and took off my gloves and answered his questions solidly and respectfully. When it was all said and done everything was good, he stuck his hand out, we shook hands and both rode away. I believe this situation goes a long way to proving that respect given is returned. I would also like to point out that this situation is the stereo typical situation where most people think that a 1%er is going to lay you out and take your cut or muscle you over for wearing a patch that ain't theres...now I do realize that I'm lucky that I ran across a chill 1%er because the situation could have been different.
Guys like this are"old-fashioned". Be cool, shake hands with a firm grip, look them eye to eye, your golden! Shot the shit for a minute and go about your business. They have things to do and places to be just like you. Keep it brief. Show respect. I grew up around bikers and some 1%ers. They are some of the most down-to-earth, cool guys you've ever met.
I partyed with the Hell's Angeles in Sturgis..and it was off the chain much respect both ways..I passed out in the lawn LOL when I woke up just about everyone was gone back to work the rally but there was a plate of breakfast wrapped in foil next to my head .so I ate got on my bike and rolled out.. good times
Been in a 99% club for coming up on two years. Was taught all the things you’ve said on this video, and it is all accurate. It took me awhile to get comfortable around 1% clubs, but that was all because of my preconceived notions of what it was like, and had nothing to do with what was actually happening at these different events. I love MC life, and am honored to be a part of the brotherhood!!!!
Far from a 1‰er, have met many from many different clubs everywhere, approach with respect, never had a problem. You don't have to be a 1%er to respect a 1%er
I've never had an issue. Being a confident and genuine person gets you a long way in life in general. Ego and pride gets you a short distance. Respect gets you respect!
I saw a Harley at a motel and was admiring it from a distance, dude came out and was a hells angel nomad. One of the coolest guys I’ve ever met. Asked him a few questions about his bike and we a great conversation.
It’s all about respect! Here in LA Ca got to meet two 1%ers MC both are cool af. Never had a issue. We are all human we all have some bad day body language is key. Also I’m about to buy me my first bike thank to your channel learning bike culture thanks bro!
About 2 years back, I had a slant bike. Before I jumped on the cruisers and Harley. I was riding home from work and I’m stopped at a light on goldenrod rd and university in Orlando Fl. Harley pulls up next to me and dude was rocking a mongols cut. We knowledge each other and he extends his arm for a fist bump. I reciprocate. He says to me “nice bike but you’re kinda a swole dude to be on that. You need you one of these”. We laughed, said peace and kept it moving. Homie was cool as a fan!
#Ghostin Ridin around Vegas on a Vegas 8-Ball. Just found your channel about a week ago. Been binging your videos since. You’re doing great work. Keep it up, Sose!
Had a small group roll up on us at pump. Paid respect with a nod and they nodded back and pulled up behind and around us and did their business we did ours. RESPECT we give it to everyone.
Filling up the tank when about 8 members of 36 pulled in. They had some dope bikes I wanted a closer look at. Waited for them to get settled, waited to be seen, nodded and when I got the nod back I approached. Shook hands and asked if I could look at the bikes. Couple of the dudes were happy to show theirs off. No issues, making jokes, talking bikes and when they were about done, shook hands again and went back to my bike. Good dudes. My opinion, act like a man and you’ll be treated like one. Act sus and you’ll be treated accordingly. Good stuff as always. #Ghostin
when i worked at a gas station met a lot of 1% bikers greatest people ive ever met and even when i went out on a smoke break i would walk up to them casually and tell them nice bikes and once they started seeing me working the overnights they would protect me and never got robbed but again nicest people ive ever met and i showed them respect and they gave it back to me as well and loving the info my brother keep up the awesome work
'' I live in the mountains in Italy, week ago, tiny one track road, I hear heavy bikes outside passing, I run outside..its the Italian Cuneo Hells Angels passing my cottage, man i was so happy.'' Im a old man, So beautiful for me, made me feel alive again', not half dead''
I had to ask about a half dozen 1% guys to move their bikes when I was bartending in college. I just approached them directly with a chill vibe, explained we are putting the grill out and where they could park close, and that I'd put them on first dibs off the charcoal grill. No issue, dudes were cool, took their orders first and tipped pretty well.
The hands in the pocket is 100%, correct, I introduced myself to a dominant club member(1%) with one hand in my pocket, he looked at me and said “Look at your F_cking hand and try this again!” Then proceeded to walk away, then came back 10 seconds later, and said follow me. He took me to the side of a building, sat me down and ripped my ass. This MAN could have easily blackened my eye or worse, but he did not. Which I am 1000% grateful.
I was working on a construction site and the lead guy would tell us what he needed done and how fast and if we needed help let him know asap, real cool never meet him before that day. a month later I ran into him at a different location none work related and he had his patches on we got to talking and got to know him on another level and he is an awesome down to earth guy and if i didn't know him from the job site i might not have talked due to the misconception people have with the 1% .
I will be getting my first bike this summer! Although growing up, I've been riding my bicycle and have met many bikers, including 1%ers. Ive Always been respectful, and they have always been awesome.
#ghostin Bro . I’ve been rolling with you for about a year now . Your wisdom helped me so much joining a diamond support club . I spread the word to all the hang arounds and some prospects . Keep doing what you do bro . The taking glasses off was awesome . I got jammed up by a old skool dude for it .it was cool. I learned a lesson and made a friend . Respect goes a long ways . I have never been disrespected in this . I have been taught . Big difference . Good shit as always bro . Keep it up . One love ! 16s nation
From my experience, I never had a "proper way" of greeting 1%ers, meaning that I always approach them in a respectful way, as I would approach every person in my life. Being part of a culture based on integrity and respect, bikers know when people around them are in good will from the get-go and in all honesty every 1%er that I know and have been in company with is a decent and cool person. Never had a problem around 1%ers in my life. Give respect and that is what you will get in return. After all, they are normal people that just do what they love, they won't hurt anyone for approaching and saying "hi" in a good manner. Having said the above, my advice to everyone concerned about it is: Be yourself and be respectful. Not just around bikers but around everyone. As always thank you for this video! Much love and respect from Crete!
The Bandidos are cool in El Paso, Tx. I’m in a 99% club now full patched just over a year but when I first came on the scene the 1%ers will always be intimidating the first few times you see them. You definitely right about the vibe it’s only certain times to say anything to them but once you get to know them their all really cool guys.
I live in Kentucky if you couldn’t tell by my name lol and I met 4 members of the Hells Angels that were passing through for little Sturgis. I told one gentleman I loved his Indian and his reply while laughing was “Should’ve seen the guy I took it from!” Joked and laughed for about 10 minutes. They’re humans just like us, just chose a path that fits them. Thanks for the video brother
I just found your channel and I absolutely love it because you are informing the general public what to do and what not to do which is super important. I grew up with bikkies (I’m Australian that’s what we call MC members) & I was taught always be respectful just because they ride for a club they are still good people. If I see a member on the street I will always compliment their bike coz I know how much pride they have in it. Also here in Sydney every Christmas the biggest MC does a toy run & delivers toys to the children’s hospitals, this is proof they aren’t bad people like the media makes them out to be.
I've said before and I'll say it again, I know a good number of 1%ers because of the business I'm in and I speak to them as I do anyone else and I have NEVER had one treat me badly. Of course, I tend to treat EVERYONE respectfully unless I'm treated disrespectfully myself. Honestly, they have been some of the coolest dudes I know, I speak to them about bikes and riding. I don't ask too many questions about their clubs, they may mention small things about it, I just respond to whatever they say ..... it's good not knowing to much about some things!!!
Attitude is everything. Give respect get respect. One thing I’ve also learned being in a association is if you approach a group and they are talking amongst themselves. Don’t approach right away. They are talking amongst themselves for a reason and it none of your business. Wait for a bit when they start breaking off and then approach them and introduce yourself. Great video and good advice. ✌️
I walked up to a hells angels memeber at a gas station. We talked, laughed and showed respect to each other. You give them respect. They will give you respect back.
#Ghostin. I got caught in a storm and stopped at a convenience/gas station and a group of the dominant here in Texas rode in. They all said hi and were really cool. Even had a conversation at one of the pumps with an older member. Really cool. Show respect, get respect.
You get what you give. You come with respect and good Intentions, you'll be met the same way. Like the Angels say, F.A.F.O. The experiences that I've had with two 1% clubs in my area have been good because we had a common interest, bikes. Even got a compliment about my Victory from an old school 1%er who was in his 70's. And all because I didn't act like a shit head or a narc. Good content Sose! #ghostin #fafo #dontbeadick #ridesafe
Went to an event yesterday and was pasiing 2 1%ers. One have me a head nod. The other one gave me a pound. Nice bike. I smiled, gave a thank you and kept moving. Much respect
We have 3 clubs in my area here in the u.k, all are at bike meets regularly. I've been riding since I was small and have known people in clubs but never been in 1 myself. I go by the rule, if they talk to you then I talk to them. Otherwise its a respectful head nod....an acknowledgement of who they are and that I'm cool with them.
I was a police officer in a county town (Europe) where 1% held an annual weekend meet, I met one of the organisers before the weekend because of a complaint about possible noise, told him I appreciate it was going to be wild but only two days, I rode vintage bikes and my kids loved the custom bikes. I was given a day pass so my kids could run and play around the camp. All were great bikers and respectful.
Much respect to Brother TROD ,from Vegos MC, an Brother Fetch from the Outlaw Mc, good intentions always . Damn good interview an topic Brother CHOPPA, #GHOSTIN
I have been around the mc in my area a few times I was never worried about them. I felt safe. They was hanging out with one another and keeping to themselves.
My approach is simple: When I see a patched member that I don't know I always say excuse me, then tell him how much I respect those colors he's wearing, then I introduce myself and offer my hand. I've never had a problem, ever. But, if he doesn't want to speak to me, I get it and will show appropriate respect, and leave him alone. But still, no problem, ever.
I'm not apart of any MC; I have however had the opportunity to take care of some 1er% MC members during my time in the health care setting. As a a veteran who works in health care, I treat everyone with the utmost respect and courtesy. Whenever I've cared for members of a 1er% MC, my respect and courtesy towards them always took me very far with them; my respect and courtesy was always met with their respect, courtesy, and gratitude.
Thank you for posting this video, Sir. Highly Appreciated. If I get this right, everything comes down to common sense. I do not approach anyone I don't feel comfortable with, I do not want anyone come towards me who looks and acts weird either. Basic human interaction skills that one should have been taught by the parents.
#ghostin Iowa!!! Love this...I had friends in a one percenter club. Great guys, love to party. To ME anyway, the way it IS...with them is the way it should be with EVERYONE...not abnormal in my opinion.
Every encounter I've had with any biker, whether it's a casual rider, a member of a club or a 1%, I always start with taking my glasses off and saying something to the effect of "excuse me sir, sorry if I'm Interrupting anything. I just wanted to say your bike is beautiful (awesome, pretty, ect. Depending on the vibe of the person) 9 times out of ten it's led to a great conversation!
Years old driving my mini bike when a biker game pulled into the gas station was having trouble couldn't get my mini bike running The fixed it for me much respect always
Good on ya mate, full respect to you, it's a hard road back on two, I too have walked that path, took me 8 years before I could walk and move properly enough to hold it up on two
Never had any issues....We were taught by more seasoned members of those who vouched for us about protocols for a approaching another club, especially a diamond......Glasses off, gloves off, always maintain eye contact, extend your hand, club/rank/name, if your hand is shook don't let go until they do, don't pull in, if they pull you in never place your hand over the patch.......I have no doubt some things have changed, but like you said....its respect......Many a dudes have skated being taught a lesson because even if they were wrong, they were respectful.....It goes a long way.
Not a biker but got in bad situation. Outlaw affiliates moved me in with their son and his old lady for two weeks and fed and bought me a bus ticket home. Mad props to the guys! Thx 4ever!!
I remember I told you that one story about when I ran into a 1%er he was a cool dude, only thing you said I did wrong was compliment his cut but that was years ago and honestly I learned a lot from you Bro
All the 1s I've run into were cool as hell. Just be friendly and respectful and you'll be fine. Easiest way to open is a sincere compliment about their bike. Being a new rider, I find they have been glad to share riding tips and encouragement.
Ghost love the video, I actually go to church with active 1%er Outlaws MC, come correct and they are some of the most down to earth people. My sister and brother-in-law know an Outlaw and he’s nicest you have ever met in. Keep up the great content brother #Ghostin
Going back to the 70s, a group of 1% hung out at a bar where my girl friend worked (now my wife). so of course I saw, and met a bunch of them. As I was known to the bar manager, I never had a problem with the guys (I am guessing that because I was a friend of Lil' Kenny I was accepted) We would just chill and drink beer with the guys if they came and sat at my table. I would join their table if invited. cool guys, but I did learn H&R, even though I wasn't on that page, not in that lane, or on that highway. Cheers from an old guy who is too crippled up to ride.
#GHOSTIN BROTHER Always here for you brother always repping the demons row 💯. Hopefully I’ll have some footage when me and the ole lady goes to Myrtle Beach this weekend and I’ll send you footages that we take brother stay safe BROTHER MUST RESPECT ✊
Love Sose the Ghost! Always good info and always gives perspective... I think the biggest thing I have taken away from your clips is RESPECT! Need more of that in all of us. Great channel brutha.
A lot of the nervousness or fear that people have towards 1% clubs comes straight from the demonstrably false way they are portayed in media and by the government. I am friends with and have met a lot of 1%ers and they are just normal dudes. These guys do more charity work than people realize, and are great for helping keep a community safe and crime free. Give respect, get respect, simple as that.
When I was a kid, 1%ers made sure my momma was able to support us after my daddy died in the war. We lived on same road as clubhouse. And my mom said they were the ones making sure we got Christmas presents. Also, i dont recall any crime in our neighborhood, despite it being extremely run down bad part of town. Seemed quite safe
I hung out with a group of like 6 people at my local bar for a few years before realizing they were 1%ers, normally I would have been worried before due to the way media had portrayed. But since they had already been my good buddies I hung out with daily. It was fine lol. They are actually the coolest group of guys i know. They know I'm not like that, I'm kinda goofy and a bit of a comedian. I'm actually supris3d they let me get away with half the shit I've said before. But, I guess they knew my intent was just to give them a good laugh lol. But I probably wouldnt have said/done certain stuff had I known my bar buddies were 1%ers.
Growing up in Louisville Kentucky I sit and had drinks with guy's always a great time we would sing karaoke and talk for hours. I always respected myself and others. Growing up in the 70s I grew up with love loyalty and respect. You get what you give. SYLO
#ghostin I've been seeing a lot more biker packs riding axle to axle through Missouri with greater frequency. Unfortunately they're always riding the opposite direction down the freeway and I don't get a good look at their colors. Ain't gonna lie though, I'm looking for my opportunity to introduce myself. 2 years and I feel it calling me. One day the planets will align. Love the content, keep it up!
#ghostin in Florida! I was raised in the ways of the biker community. Respect and confidence gets you a long way. I have no problem walking up and say hi to any cut.
So I'm not the guy who rides everywhere I go. Can't say I've ever been in the gas station scenario. But I've seen HA's , and others on the road. If passing one of, or many of these guys, is there a proper etiquette for that? # Ghostin.
Hey Sose! Thanks for being informative and sharing that knowledge ML&R I'm with a 99% a US Navy Veteran are organization's ethos is treat people the way you would be treated. I have encountered 1%s and we talk bikes & things like that keep it simple with respect that 1 word is everything in all things!
I got to know members of a 1% club when they started frequenting a bar I hung out at. Great group of guys and ol' ladies, they never caused any trouble, and were always respectful and gracious. The whole bar loved them.

#GHOSTIN A another great episode 1%er are people just be your self and be respectful and don't be an idiot
I'm still wondering where I can pick up one of those masks
Thats awesome
Likely because you showed respect.
You could a been a prospector mining for diamonds
You showed them respect and they returned it that's all it takes
That's awesome bro, I started chucklin' when you noticed they were stretching too. Most def a great moment, keep 'er shiny side up my man.
Def bankroll
My mother always said “treat people the way you want to be treated.” I guess this applies to 1% too. I’ve had several encounters with 1% riders over the years. Never had anything but pleasant conversations with them.
Mom was right
spot on ;D
@@_oroku_3054 kissing ass and giving and receiving respect are two completely different things.

“If you don’t feel comfortable, don’t go up” perfectly said considering they will evaluate the way you approach. Keep up the good work my man!
Much respect
It doesn’t have to be a 1% man to man look a person eye to eye speak up stand tall and say hello 1%s are people who deserve respect like anyone else I pride myself in that I can communicate with anyone on any level from the streets to the boardrooms because I see everyone as equal no one is better or less than me or the next person it’s all about respecting yourself and others
bingo
WELL SAID MY MAN. Ya doesn’t matter if he’s got the cut or a 3 piece business suit . Hold your hand out , look him in the eye, and make sure your handshake is firm. Nothing worse then a little wimpy scraggly handshake, tighten up brother!
@@scottbuck9348 back at ya Scott. There’s too many whips out here calling themselves men
I'd just rebuilt the engine on my pickup when I stopped at a little Iowa gas station to tune it.
You are in my prayers
Hoka Hey
Very true
Just show respect to get it. I know I'm a year late seeing this video, but this sentence is pure life wisdom. Doesn't matter who or what.
What was he showing respect to, exactly? You ride around on a bike and wear a vest. Big deal.
I did exactly what you recommended here, I went up smiling and very friendly but respectful and it worked.
nice brother #ghostin
The clubs I've had contact with always was a good experience show respect ya get respect

Being from AZ and Prospecting for a Club. 1% are some of the coolest guys I’ve ever met. A firm handshake and good greeting makes a world of a Difference!
Def true 👊👊👊
Been around 2 diamond clubs. All of them solid dudes. These guys are regular dudes like anyone else. One of our dominant diamond members here is an engineer for Microsoft. This ain’t SOA. Jax Teller doesn’t exist and he’s not gonna lay you out for saying hello. ANY true biker will lay your ass out for acting stupid or disrespecting. Not just a club member.

Truth! 👊
Merci!Salut du CANADA 🍁
Great story
Having spent a few years working at an HD dealer, I met a lot of 1%ers. Most of them were nice people who just enjoyed motorcycles, brotherhood, and having a good time. I can honestly say that I never felt nervous or in any danger talking with them. For the most part (in the shop at least) they were pleasant guys. Law enforcement seems to want the general public to think they're all criminals, which is ridiculous.
So true

Much respect
Right I'm a Buffalo soldier and everyone I met was cool.
#GhostIn the way I was raised was that a little respect goes a long way, but it's good to hear from 3 different prospectives.

I saw a Harley at a motel and was admiring it from a distance, dude came out and was a hells angel nomad. One of the coolest guys I’ve ever met. Asked him a few questions about his bike and we a great conversation.

Haha he will getcha
#Ghostin

You were clearly in the presence of greatness
I was working on a construction site and the lead guy would tell us what he needed done and how fast and if we needed help let him know asap, real cool never meet him before that day. a month later I ran into him at a different location none work related and he had his patches on we got to talking and got to know him on another level and he is an awesome down to earth guy and if i didn't know him from the job site i might not have talked due to the misconception people have with the 1% .
I will be getting my first bike this summer!
Although growing up, I've been riding my bicycle and have met many bikers, including 1%ers.

Much love and respect i agree great comment
The Bandidos are cool in El Paso, Tx. I’m in a 99% club now full patched just over a year but when I first came on the scene the 1%ers will always be intimidating the first few times you see them. You definitely right about the vibe it’s only certain times to say anything to them but once you get to know them their all really cool guys.
Solid club def
I live in Kentucky if you couldn’t tell by my name lol and I met 4 members of the Hells Angels that were passing through for little Sturgis. I told one gentleman I loved his Indian and his reply while laughing was “Should’ve seen the guy I took it from!” Joked and laughed for about 10 minutes. They’re humans just like us, just chose a path that fits them. Thanks for the video brother
I know many 1’s in my life never a problem as long as respect is present.

Much love its so true

I have been around the mc in my area a few times I was never worried about them. I felt safe. They was hanging out with one another and keeping to themselves.
Thats good
My approach is simple: When I see a patched member that I don't know I always say excuse me, then tell him how much I respect those colors he's wearing, then I introduce myself and offer my hand. I've never had a problem, ever. But, if he doesn't want to speak to me, I get it and will show appropriate respect, and leave him alone. But still, no problem, ever.
Def good approach
I'm not apart of any MC; I have however had the opportunity to take care of some 1er% MC members during my time in the health care setting. As a a veteran who works in health care, I treat everyone with the utmost respect and courtesy. Whenever I've cared for members of a 1er% MC, my respect and courtesy towards them always took me very far with them; my respect and courtesy was always met with their respect, courtesy, and gratitude.

Thank you for posting this video, Sir. Highly Appreciated. If I get this right, everything comes down to common sense.

I had just commented on a video of yours asking this question, I’m so glad you made a video explaining how to do it. Great stuff Sose!

I got to know members of a 1% club when they started frequenting a bar I hung out at. Great group of guys and ol' ladies, they never caused any trouble, and were always respectful and gracious. The whole bar loved them.
