Like fill a field full of popcorn put up a projector..or anything like that? .got a neighborhood full of ditched old ladies..with kids .and me trying to help em🤷..saw somei about permits. Abd security..want a safe time .but also adult friendly as well 🤷

When I was a an official hangaround I had a sponsor. He brought me to a big event and every prospect was busy working. I asked if I should help on the grill or get behind the bar and my sponsor said I was there to hangout and be around the club and nothing more. I had a couple drinks but kept it cool and before I knew it I was sitting at a table with the officers playing drinking games and having a great time. On the way home my sponsor said he liked that I was social and carried myself well. He said most people at their first event get shy and don’t say much or act awkward. I just kept it respectful and fun. Didn’t joke too much, spoke when I had something to contribute and shut up when I didn’t. Often times I see your videos and I think it’s crazy how on the nose you are with my experiences in MC culture. At the end of the day you just know your stuff and that’s all it comes down to. You’re doing good work out here brother, looking forward to catching up with you in person some day soon. #Ghostin

That’s so true. I don’t remember where I heard it but someone said only play tennis with people who are better than you. I don’t play tennis, but I try to apply it to other parts of my life.

i have a friend i work with. he’s a SAA of 1% MC. when i took the safety course and bought my bike. he showed up to my house with a few of his brothers to take me for a ride and give me pointers. i ended up buying all of them lunch. when we were outside the restaurant waiting for his brothers to come out. dude started wiping down bikes including mine. those guys get respect because they earn respect. i’ll never join an MC. it’s not the life for me. but i have tons of respect for them.
Everyone who ever wants to even begin hanging out with a club needs to hear this info and listen to this knowledge he is giving you. Prospecting 101 - day 1 is go time not No time

Yep, I was told "mouth shut, eyes open".
When I was in a full patch in a 1% support club I worked my ass off at every event....even had the 'big brothers' say " Damn ****, you work harder than the prospects!" My response was "I'm just doing my part".....later on I was asked to prospect for them. Here are a few things that I will share:
Learn your future brothers and let them learn you. You have to build that trust, they have to be able to sit somewhere with their back to the door because they KNOW you have their back.
Always LISTEN to what the future brothers are trying to teach you.
As you said, take initiative.
It may not seem like it but EVERY ONE of the future brothers are watching and testing you. They want to see how you react to situations while putting you out of your comfort zone. I learned a harsh lesson that I will never forget and will pass on to all of my future prospects.
Do what you say and say what you mean.
Another thing to never forget....you are ALWAYS prospecting

The notice the small shit too. I always stayed in the corner of the room, watched, and just stood by for what I needed to do. So many times hangarounds would come up and try to start a conversation when I was supposed to be shadowing. Me simply letting em know I'm working and can't talk was noticed and appreciated.

One thing I seen a solid dude not make it into one of the big clubs from was being perceived as a coward. I took note from the homey's situation. Not going into details, but what I got from the home boys situation was if there is ever a confrontation then the prospect better stand the front line of the confrontation until the last patched member is gone from the scene. Even if the prospects sponsor turns and runs. It checks out too in the mentality of it is better to get beat down with your friends then live as a coward alone.

I see what you’re saying. But if I saw patched members “turn and run”, I would not want to prospect for that club anymore. In my mind, being a Marine Corps veteran, a patched member leads from the front and leads by example. It’s not okay for a patched member to be a coward yet kick a prospect out for exhibiting cowardice. But I agree that uncommon valor is important for a prospect. Much respect!!
I was a prospect n got the patch. I was stiff at first but loved being around. Work n family n club is hard to do when you only have 24 hrs a day. Detroits Watching! 😁

Some advice from a current prospect, if you’re in the hang around phase start calling/texting every member every week and check in offer to do more then is expected if you know somebody needs help offer help shit like that looks good take Initiative actually get to know these people I myself will even call their ol ladies and see how they’re doing always remember this is a family if you’re doing this for the patch to look cool or get females you’re in it for the wrong reason

Don't do it to patch up. Do it cause it is you BE YOU! If you wear your heart on sleeve this is a great way to help by offering rides, a shoulder or help cheering on a kid cause parents can't be in two places one time. Always offer rides for those who don't drive and or need a ride to Drs someone being there to get out their own funk n head. Don't start it if you can't keep up doin it. I would not go around calling wife's but asking their man if they need help with wife's to keep them off the ass. Do not I REPEAT do not mercy jump a desperate house wife your dumb if do.
Learn mechanics and offer help fix for just Price of parts. Do free landscaping to take it off hubby's shoulder, do plumbing or carpenter work
I don’t man calling wife’s might not end well for you even if it is with good intentions. Woman will cause a lot of drama.

This Video is why i keep Watching, that was perhaps the BEST Advice i have heard on you tube for prospecting. As i have Said before because my job with Harley Caused a bit of moving i've prospected a few times myself, and the Only thing i would add is to Learn to think outside the Box, Full Patches might give you a task, and they want to see how you handle it, do you do it the hard way or do you get creative with the same result, job done.

I'm not trying to Prospect anywhere but my Brother Steve was hanging around with the Bishops. He grabbed the ass of a former Old Lady, got into a fight with a Member. Situation ended with Steve becoming a Prospect, got fully patched. RIP Steve Gallow, my Best Man.

I like the introduction of the prospects on this a lot. I had a prospect of a club introduce with the club first, then his name and finally prospect before I realized he wasn’t a patched member/ board member of the club. Threw me through a loop for sure.

Hey man, I’m not a biker but I like your show. You did an episode on patches at one of the bike rallies. I’m looking to get a large misfits back patch for my jacket. I can’t find one here in Canada. Any ideas?
#Ghostin, Sose The Ghost, great advice for the prospects of a traditional or 1% MC. Every Club has their "own way" doing things and the advice your giving goes to building a good foundation for someone who is prospecting. At myy charter we split up the process with a hangaround phase then if after a period of time both the hangaround and the charter think you are a good fit then there is a Official hangaround phase, this when the hangaround is being trained how to be a good prospect and it's purpose is to see if you can handle the requirements for being a prospect without all the responsibilities that is expected of a prospect. There are a lot of guys that start the journey but later on figured out that it was more than what they bargain for. Then of course the next phase is prospect and as you mentioned you better have "all your ducks in a row" then because it's not fun at all if you royally fuck up when you're a prospect... LoL 🤣

As a current prospect, one of the hardest things can be to shut the fuck up. I want to participate, but what you said about leaving yourself open to someone saying something you I don't like is true. The one thing I didn't hear you say was to always have a good attitude. I don't care if a brother calls you to come wash his bike in the rain, at least look like you have a good attitude about it.
Had our anniversary I was up to knowledge chilling at the club house cleaning etc while the day party was going on I was told to introduce myself to the Originals and I did they asked me about knowledge gave it to them quick and then they got mad lol talking about how the hell I know all this and they was like hey outa my face lol fast forward bike week came seen all of them again and prospect at the beach had the most great time and no one would question me or anything because I was up to knowledge I washed one bike and that was it I earned there respect early and it was up from there

My experiences as we speak ..u got to have a new good enough bike no junk .n u have to have a good job or enough money. Or a business to make events n rides n u have to jump n how high they say..... N....keep ur mouth shut n listen dont speak on shit ,And hangaround for as long as u like no pressure make sure it fits u plus u want to build a trust if u just off the street ...
And dont say brother..say G or by nik name or name when speaking to one n dont walk up to president n pass everyone else to shake hands just approach as a man to everyone

Every prospector i knew treated it as their job. They might side hustle, but nothing comes before the club to them guys. But my experience is strictly with traditional older clubs so there's a bias
