One thing about the Hells Angels beef with the Mongols. I've heard the bottom rocker story for years but a few years ago I saw a docu series with George Christie. He said that a formal Angel ratted on club members or got some one killed. But basically that guy ran away and joined the Mongols. At the time the Mongols accepted anyone that can ride. When they saw him at an event the traitor hid with the Mongols and a war began. From the way that Mongols still take anyone fairly easily, it's a plausible scenario.
It was really interesting to hear a bit more about the time period when Justin was involved in clubs. There are lots of old documentaries but they drop off at a point and are a bit dated and cheesy as well hahah! Seems like a nice dude, I’ll check out his book! Really enjoy the how crime works series. I’m studying cyber security just now so if you were interested in making a how cybercrime works episode that’d be awesome!
That’s the second time I’ve heard someone misuse the word militant to describe a structured way of conduct or having to do with the armed forces. It means “favouring confrontational or violent methods in support of a political or social cause.”
It’s not just a human trait animals do it too. Apes, ant colonies, wolf packs, lions, goats, giraffes, sea lions…. We all have the behavior to rival others to become dominate. Its how we were able to survive for thousands of years by pro creating with the strongest genes bud. You even rival other males just to grab the females attention you can’t escape it
I’ll never forget the day when Ruben Cavasos was arrested. I was living with my aunt at the time and he apparently lived 3 houses down from her. At about 3am on a school night roughly 20+ squad cars and a helicopter show up announcing his name to exit his home. I didn’t know who or what Ruben C was at the time but I’ll never forget it being announced on those megaphones. The only guy in that whole neighborhood to have a motorcycle and he’d always park it in his garage. Was a real shock considering my aunt lived in a very nice and quiet neighborhood during that time and of all places in a little West Covina suburb is where he was living/busted.

I remember when I was in Montebello elementary school in 1970, I saw a handful of Mongols hanging out at a school friend's house. Then a few months later that handful grew to dozens then dozens more. I was afraid to walk down Greenwood Avenue when they were there. I thought they were the Hells Angele's but later learned they were the Mongols.

“I didn’t want him to join. He had a lot going for himself.” You’re describing someone who doesn’t the other person to join a gang. So basically these are all gangs. Every incident, behavior, rules, all fall in line with gang culture.
The comments about it being immature 12 yr olds that never grew up, comparison to fraternities, and general hate really say a lot about how society has changed its views of organizations like this over time.

A lot of them aren’t in WitPro, a lot of them just left that life without having problems, some of them have died because of it, but that happened a lot years ago, nowadays, atleast in the US it’s different, for example with MC’s, a lot of the time they just operate under a ‘no contact’ law for people that left
In this case he’s not really saying anything that might hurt the club or giving any information about the club that isn’t already out there, so I don’t think he’s taking that big a risk.
I once interacted with a group of Mongols on my wedding day. My groomsmen took me to a restaurant close to the venue before the ceremony so that I wouldn’t see my bride before then and we we got a table that just happened to be next to a group of Mongols (and their “old ladies”). Since we were all in our nice suits, we certainly stuck out as much as they did and thus caught their attention. So we ended up chatting with them for a bit and they were actually very nice, much to my surprise and relief. I doubt anyone like that could ever be a part of my social groups, but maybe it was a good omen that we ran into each other for I ended up having one of the best days of my life. I only hope those folks are doing okay despite the lifestyle they chose.

She said, "The first thing that happens when you want to join a gang is they tell you all their rules. And why you'd better follow them." Marginalized people, but also dysfunctional people are attracted to outsider lifestyles, but if you want to join a group like a biker gang, you have to be willing to accept their structure, expectations, and follow the rules. Of course, at some level there is chaos, but usually controlled chaos. A student one time threatened that her father, a gang member, was going to kick my butt at Back To School Night. Latino society is generally more polite than Norte Americano society so it's always best to act respectfully. It's a good lesson anywhere. He came into my room, I was respectful, he was respectful. And my student, his daughter? She absolutely beamed with pride. Another time he came in with his arm in a sling. He'd been shot. I hope she's doing well.

@@HgRoller and maybe that's the disconnect. I don't see how living a violent life promotes brotherhood, discipline and camaraderie unless you mentally have something going on. Fortunately for me my 9-5 grants me access to all the finer things in life, less stress, access to incredible experiences, and I wake up not having to look over my shoulder when I riding my motorcycle. If you call that boring and unfulfilling then we are just living in two different realities. I'm praying for my brothers that they find peace within.
I'm no expert but I've seen other interviews and histories of Hell's Angels etc with the actual reason for 1% patch which is not exactly what he says here. It can easily be checked. The American Motorcycle Association stated: “99% of the motorcycling public are law-abiding; there are 1% who are not.” So as a response, they started wearing a patch to indicate they were that 1%. So it wasn't about following the rules of the association it was a sort of joke response to the motorcycle association saying 99% of bikers are decent law-abiding citizens.
What he says is literally what you said. Re-watch... He said the turn of phrase came from the AMA but it meant that they were doing illegal gang activity.
@@AnarexicSumo-He says, "The one-percenter definition was the one percent of the motorcycle clubs that didn't abide by the rules of the American Motorcycle Association." As I say this isn't exactly the reason as although it comes from a statement by the AMA it has nothing to do with the fact they don't follow the recommended rules of the AMA for running motorcycle clubs. The AMA made a blanket press statement to disassociate motorcycle users from criminal activity. That statement was “99% of the motorcycling public are law-abiding; there are 1% who are not.” It isn't about following their rules for running a motorcycle club it is a blanket statement that 99% of people who own a motorcycle are law-abiding citizens. The AMA do have a dedicated club constitution and rules that you can download from their website to help people set up a motorcycle club which cover safety and so forth. However, this isn't what it is about as there are thousands of motorcycle clubs that don't use AMA rules but are not criminal and the statement wasn't even about motorcycle clubs it was about anyone who owned a motorcycle. It's not a big deal but what he said isn't accurate according to every other source and just the reading what the AMA actually said.
No bro you didn't join for the love of motorcycles you joined a gang...there were plenty legal clubs for you to join the original Mongols angels and such started as guys who loved bikes you knowingly joined a gang quit talking to us like were stupid
I lived in Los Angeles from 1997-2009 and I would see them in West Covina and the El Monte area fairly often. I would also see packs of Hells Angels going down the 101 in the valley and also going north on the 405/5 freeways. I don’t know if it’s the same today. I was back on LA a couple years ago and I didn’t even recognize it. What they have done to that beautiful state is criminal. A lot of my friends who have been there since the 90’s have moved back to Phoenix and they were the ones that were never going to leave LA. It’s just so sad looking at what these politicians did to that gorgeous state
Clubs demand respect. 1973, I’m 16 yrs old. Taking my new Honda 500/4 from Chicago to Alpina Mi. to visit my Uncle at his military base. Going fast like I always did. I Came up upon a group of Hells Angles. I was passing on the left, a few members reached out as if to grab me. I knew I had made a mistake. I think the members recognized I was just a kid with a fast bike. They waved me by. I didn’t go slower than 120 for an hour, got off the freeway and took local roads for the rest of the day.
Why didn't you ask him to expound on excluding African Americans? Seems odd to just skip over that as if the interviewer found it reasonable or something.
Every biker gang does. They try to say they aren't racists especially when you talk about the Altamont concert and the HA killed that black guy Hunter. He was with a white girl. They'll say he had a gun to shoot Jagger. He pulled the gun to stop the angels beating him up.
As I understand their reasoning is because state prisons in america are very racially segregated and the culture spread out from that after bikers would spend a lot of time in prison. Idk how accurate that is.
Back in the days it was a unwritten rule not to mention anything related to the inside of a Neighborhood, Car Club, Bikers, or a “Club” in general, How time has changed 😒
The best things motorcycle clubs do that gangs don’t is the hang around/prospect stage and age requirement. It keeps the numbers down and maintains the integrity of the club. A lot of other gang members naturally have a hang around period, but some don’t, and none really “prospect” now. All sorts idiots and psycho just join them and they answer to no one really

Well meth isn't the only drug. Even alcohol can totally ruin your life. Anyway I don't belive none of them are doing drugs. If not doing, at least dealing, which is even worse. Club must live of something and sadly good will isn't paid in money.
It's like hearing about a large group of 12 year old boys who never grow up. Fascinating.
So what do you call fraternity’s that still hang out and do group events years after they left school
It started from WW2 vets returning home from war and wanting a brotherhood that they had serving the country
You call them for fraternities you clown fraternities don’t go around killing each other because some guy threw up Alpha Omega on his block
Ww2 was a long time ago pal 😂😂
@@johnnywack641 in my college they had to beat up a guy that I knew and smashed a bunch of tail lights overnight in the parking lot. And that was only to join. I hated frats since then
One thing about the Hells Angels beef with the Mongols.
No cursing very well spoken person. This dude is really solid and respectful something you rarely see nowadays. Respects to the Mongols
I didn’t know bikers could hop from club to club like this dude.
My guess is because Vagos and Mongols are allies if I remember correctly
Humans will do anything to group together and find reasons to kill each-other.
We are interesting animals.
More like disgusting animals we are
Which is why I find patriotism and nationalism weird.

MOOCH !!! Is a great guy and has helped so many others in his line of work with mental health , relationships, and addiction 🙌 Right on Justin
He does not seem like a "bad influence" at all.
Con artists use the tools of trust and vulnerability of others to turn deception into an underhanded art form. The term con is short for confidence, reflecting how cons win over and exploit their victims' trust.

Mongols: the one MC where you don't need to actually own or know how to ride a motorcycle to join.
That was during Cavazos days.
Hasn’t been that way in 25 years. Quit watching gangland and go speak to an actual Mongol.

This isn't true. I have Mongol friends. What you are talking about is during war time. Some rules were laxed. That's all.
We aren't into crime anymore except the entire Tennessee chapter was indicted like 2 years ago

That's not what entrapment is.
@@WholeSomeHomie Yeah, I know more like keystone cops - what were they trying to accomplish?
@4OHz expected they weren't selling drugs. They were selling fake drugs. The guys who went to help what they believed to be a drug deal didn't have to go but choose to. They choose to paracipte in what they thought was going to be an illegal activity. They don't deserve anyone's sympathy.

I can watch these biker ones all day long. You can get other former biker members who’ve since left.
Dude seems like the kindest, gentlest biker I've ever listened to. I'm sure he's a badass, but what a nice guy lol.
Crazy this guy went to the same high school as me and graduated with one of my siblings. Awesome video!
Mooch is the man honestly.. I’ve followed him for years! Glad he’s on the positive path he wants in life.
If you want to watch a docuseries about the operation “black rain” and “22 green” raids on the mongols and vagos watch Gangland Undercover. It’s an amazing show and really well done. Two seasons and I’m watching it again for the 4th time !
“I didn’t want him to join. He had a lot going for himself.” You’re describing someone who doesn’t the other person to join a gang. So basically these are all gangs. Every incident, behavior, rules, all fall in line with gang culture.
We get 1 life and its craaaazy how humans choose to live that 1 life . No go backs

Always watching from Georgetown Guyana south America 🇬🇾🇬🇾
Don't drink the Kool-aid there
The comments about it being immature 12 yr olds that never grew up, comparison to fraternities, and general hate really say a lot about how society has changed its views of organizations like this over time.
i love these videos and honestly this guy seems nice and helpful but it's really hard to believe that he only ever tried to stop fights and wasn't fully aware of the drug trafficking lol
He talked about there being a rule with no human trafficking, not drug trafficking.
Why aren't these guys afraid for their lives to speak out against/exposing these criminal organizations? Are they truly safe in witness protection?
Great point
Yes
A lot of them aren’t in WitPro, a lot of them just left that life without having problems, some of them have died because of it, but that happened a lot years ago, nowadays, atleast in the US it’s different, for example with MC’s, a lot of the time they just operate under a ‘no contact’ law for people that left
@Roguchii Absolutely not. Depends who the p off the most.
In this case he’s not really saying anything that might hurt the club or giving any information about the club that isn’t already out there, so I don’t think he’s taking that big a risk.
The biggest controversy came when they pushed to include unicycles.
I know what you mean. I know a lot of Bandidos and just about everyone I met was super cool. They may have treated me better because I grew up with the #2's son and he was my soccer coach. Most of them are just normal dudes. But they have a 10% just like the rest of the planet that screw it up for everyone.
Respect goes a long way, and

Glad it was a nice interaction and just goes to show that if you treat people with the same respect you'd want, you'll get it usually in return. Congrats on marriage!

Always hear the no meth rule, yet its there
They use meth to fuel their gay sex parties

He's very calm and well spoken for being in a outlaw motorcycle gang, I'm surprised.
He said that he's a social worker.
He comes from a good family and is a smart dude. Lots of fringe personalities are far more intelligent than you’d think.
I remember someone suggesting that gang kids weren't able to follow rules so they shouldn't be expected to..... A local youth counselor burst out laughing. She said, "The first thing that happens when you want to join a gang is they tell you all their rules. And why you'd better follow them."
Marginalized people, but also dysfunctional people are attracted to outsider lifestyles, but if you want to join a group like a biker gang, you have to be willing to accept their structure, expectations, and follow the rules.
He has a phd in psychology

They want a fulfilling, non-boring, hectic, violent life. They don't work a standard 9-5 in a cubivle and come home and watch the news. It's about the brotherhood, discipline and camaraderie.
So it wasn't about following the rules of the association it was a sort of joke response to the motorcycle association saying 99% of bikers are decent law-abiding citizens.
and they are a joke.
He forgot to mention that Blane was the one that pulled a gun first. He was a real “tough guy”
No bro you didn't join for the love of motorcycles you joined a gang...there were plenty legal clubs for you to join the original Mongols angels and such started as guys who loved bikes you knowingly joined a gang quit talking to us like were stupid

I see Mongols in El Sereno to West Covina chilling in certain areas.

When did it began cool to tell everything
Back in the days it was a unwritten rule not to mention anything related to the inside of a Neighborhood, Car Club, Bikers, or a “Club” in general, How time has changed 😒
We are not a gang! Fights other gangs for territory and influence to expand business.😅😅😅 Better let motorcycles for people that actually ride!
He didn't say they weren't a gang. He explained why motorcycle gang members don't like being called a gang.
Another great video!
Very interesting you assign integrity to a criminal organization that kills and sells drugs to the community.
Urban street gangs and biker gangs are as comparable as kindergarten and college, or a chimp banging on a bongo drum and classical music. The cultures are not even close enough to compare.
