Dude.... Thx so much for all of you video postings! Thank you, thank you! This was an easy one too!
While playing it, I found two things, when playing the A# chord (for example: at 0:44 in your video), I mute the bottom C and/or don't play it at all.... It really muddy's up the chord IMO.
The other thing I found (and please excuse me, I'm really new to guitar) is that at the end of the chorus your tabs are showing going from a G# to an F (at the 5th fret) chord (I might be wrong on the notes of the chords, please forgive). While practicing without the music playing in the background, it didn't sound quite right to my novice ears.... I played around with it for a minute and strummed the 7th fret (a G chord) and it sounded better to me for some reason... then I played it with the music in the background and if felt like it resonated/harmonized better as well.... so I listened to that part without playing over the top of it and, I think, that might be what the band is actually playing.... Are my ears playing tricks on me? Your thoughts on this if you don't mind.....please!!! I'd ask Korey but I think she's busy...! :-) Thx

What guitar/amp setup are you running? And what would you recommend for a beginner on a budget? I’ve got a fender mustang amp and. Squier bullet but I’m ready to upgrade a bit....the guitar I have at least was enough to get me interested in guitar but have a lot of trouble getting the same sound out of mine that I’m seeing people on RUclips having, even when I tune or use similar gauge wires....maybe I should just do a humbucker upgrade? I’ve got Gibson strings which didn’t seem to change much, but I’ve just got the factory pickups....double pickup at the bridge, single in the middle, and double at the neck

....what do the Xs mean on the TAB? I think someone told me it was muting...but then...whats muting 😅
The "x" is a muted note. ( just means to mute a string, place your left hand over the strings, bearly touching the strings, then pick the muted string)

He is not muting them with palm but with left hand. He covers all of his strings, and he mutes them.

(I'm a beginner guitarist) how do you avoid hitting the top string at one point during the chorus?
First of all congratulations to your choice to learn the guitar! Great instrument :) This is basically just a matter of training. By the time you will be able to play exactly the strings that you want to play without touching the others. It might be frustrating sometimes but just don't give up! If you have more questions just ask :)

yeah it's definitely a whole new instrument to learn! But you will get used to it in no time I'm sure :)
You can try to mute it by putting the finger closest to the top string against it
you can slide down to the 10th fret and the 8th fret for the 577 and 133 if you have trouble they are the same cord just sound a little different because of the strings

You mean because I cut out party in the verse? Well there is not guitar at all in the verse so nothing to worry about :) I cut it out so you don't have to watch me standing there with nothing to do
Strings&Tabs Well, sometimes it helps to watch someone stand there and do nothing. Just sayin. Granted, you are a good guitar player.
