Honestly, as a non-religious person, when I think "Christian music", I think incredibly watered-down extremely quiet, wholesome music. When I googled Skillet, I was quite surprised to find out they were a Christian rock group. I listen to bands with a similar sound to them, and I'm sticking around.
R A you should listen to bands like Impending Doom, Fit For a King, War of Ages, For Today, other bands like those. Try it out I really like them.
Please check out "Red". They are like Skillet, kind of, they are a christian hard rock band, but darker and edgier than skillet. But they are amazing. Watch "The Darkest Part, Already over, and breathe into me" by them. Those are some of their best
