For my heavy distortion I use an Electro Harmonix Metal Muff. For lighter distortion I use the BOSS OS-2. I also use the BOSS Noise Suppressor. My Amp is just a cheap Peavey Bandit 112 (I wish I had a half stack or at least a 2x12, but I don't haha)
