- This show is famous in the lore of Racer X, for the inflatable sharks they gave to the audience, prior to opening with the theme from JAWS. The shark show was at the Reseda Country Club on March 19, 1988.

The Street Lethal album I bought in Montreal back then had a warning sticker on it....that the bands 19 year old guitarist would make you give up playing, or words to that effect.. one of the main reasons I picked it without knowing them. The vocals seemed harsh at first yet the talent was there. Best song on that album," Hotter than Fire"
Yeah, I remember hearing Street Lethal for the 1st time. I thought it was Yngwie on nitro. Paul was way more aggressive than Yngwie.
Extremely underrated vocalist
Been studying singing in my old age... I can’t understand why nobody talks about Jeff Martin in terms of technique. He is doing so many cool things in terms of technique that are exemplary. He loves to lean into the “eh” vowel with tons of chest up high and it sounds amazing. Dickinson Halford Tate Kiske etc, only do it on occasion but Jeff makes it part of every song lol

Exactly Ricardo. I always thought he was excellent, but kept hearing how he sucked and that he was the weak link of the band. Far from it, maybe his tone and his highs weren't everyone's cup of tea, but make no mistake about it, Jeff was always an excellent singer. And a fabulous drummer.
Was also a great drummer in the band Badlands with Jake e Lee…..

I hope so, I think Alderate had like a fairly serious brain injury though in a bike accident, so I mean I just dont know if theyd play a show without him again, let alone if he can heal enough to play if hes up for it.Hope so though.

Hope Juan is recovering well from his bike injury. All the best Juan! Awesome concert and hey, that's the one which was recorded for the Extreme Volume Live album, isn't it? I'm a RacerX addict since i heard this band for the first time...it was the Superheroes Album which accidently stumbled accross my ears and that was it, catched forever! I then discovered everything the band did (before and after) and i love everything by heart. Hearing it again and again since decades now. Please never stop making powerful hard rock music!

Anyone know if there possibly is a version of this with slightly better audio ? Bass frequencies are booming so loud they cover most everything else up. It would be amazing to have this footage with audio that does their playing a bit more justice.
