Did you get to see them in concert?
@@michaelseay9783 Sadly, I did not get to see Whitesnake or John Sykes in concert! I had a huge poster of Whitesnake framed in my bedroom & they were my rock icons at that time! The 80s can never be recreated because musicians such as Whitesnake set the Rock coolness bar way too high, for the newbies, to ever attain the same static excitement that we mere mortals got to experience in the 80s!
@@michaelseay9783 Have you seen Whitesnake in concert? After getting your reply to my original post about David & John, I had to go back & revisit Here I Go Again! Lol...I still dig that song! ✌️
I like John Sykes! He did a brillant job with Tygers Of Pan Tang,Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake! I personnaly don't really like his solo albums but he's a fine guitarist,I like the way he plays, amazing solos,....in my top 10 guitarist!
+Christian VALENCIANO Tygers!!!
tygers,..yes...so?
BLUE MURDER FIRST ALBUM WAS GOOD
The music was brilliant, the lyrics not so good. Sykes can really sing though! Awesome pipes

No whammy bar, heavy dependence on distracting effects like wah wah or flanging...just One guitarist with a preamped compressed LesPaul and incredible nuances, voicing, and phrasing JohnSykes is a guitar god.
:greatest vocalist,,crazy guitarist,,powerfull drummer,,the best hardrock band,,love u WS
Dave rubbed his crutch 57 times an avg 3.8 times per song. Amazing
Crotch rubbing
Probably got crabs 😎

WhitesnakeForever🎸🎸🎸🎸
Brilliant stuff!
Watched this video thousand times. I am craving for Whitesnake Sykes live 87 album.
John Sykes forever.
Thank you for this brother.
David Coverdale! Homem lindo, voz maravilhosa! A mais bonita do rock❤
John Sykes was and is a superb talent, legend
The blistering solo in "Gambler" as the opening song of this concert documentary is legendary!
Interesting seeing Cozy Powell play "God, the Bringer of War" live in 1984. Two years later he was briefly a member of ELP and a prog rock rendition of that classical piece was the closing track of the LP he recorded with Keith Emerson and Greg Lake.
John Sykes better than what 2 guitarists have been doing for years awesome player 🤘
Great band!!!
ジョンサイクスさんの
ギターテクニック凄いと思います😂
THIS IS AMAZING FANTISTIC!!!!!! REAL HARD ROCK BAND
My love Whitesnake
My favorite song is all of them.🤘
ahh, rip cozy powell. going from this to ELP afterwards, and his long history before shows what an awesome gun for hire he was, and he "brought" it to every note he played, regardless of style.
What about Sabbath? Cozy and Neil both wound up playing with Iommi within five years.
A drummer playing notes??....okay
Only one drummer create that fantastique show. This is mister Cozy Powell
See you baby
I Love you Whitesnake ! @_@
One thing great about youtube...It’s brought out John Sykes popularity with true fans of music., Just read all the comments just in this video alone...
The best WS line up! Kick ass hard rock! John got them to the next level. Then after WS 87 album was 95% finished Dave stabbed John in the back.
John done all work with guitar no second one ! Missing full ''' picture '' ! Craying in the rain solo was toooo much , like shiting off with skills , but he showed , he is one of the best Rock guitarist
Sykes created the hard rock era of Whitesnake ..only John made WS huge.... parer when he and all the other guys of this line up were fired, WS (and Coverdale for first) lost their soul and identity...became a posers cover band...what a waste ,what a shame...
Exactly. I saw a show from 1988 on the Whitesnake tour for the "1987" album. Vandenberg and Campbell (two GREAT guitarists in their older bands) absolutely sucked playing Sykes' songs and the other Whitesnake material. Just awful. No heart, no soul...no feel for the music at all
R G1959
John Sykes is a legend and he took the band to another level.
Sykes.....el mejor guitarrista que ha tenido whitesnake...!!
The best solo i've ever heard! 10:49
Good days of rock n roll, unreplecable.
Sykes awesome guitar player and a very nice guy to
この場にいました!信じられない!懐かしい……!
🤘🤘🤘
Imagine the total rock scene domination Whitesnake would have had the decades to follow with this lineup.
Que voz! Meu Deus!
That's a great line up there! Sykes geez!
What a great band !!
Great footage thank you! If you love Sykes you must buy the first Blue Murder l.p.. It's still a killer lp
I love every song on that Blue Murder album.
David Coverdale’s vocals are at the peak here.
the best line up of Whitesnake. Sykes, Powell
Ain't no love in the heart of the city ❤ miss You Mr Cozy Powell 💔😍
Coverdale was 32 years old during this show. He would turn 33 in September.
Sykes is a true legend
THE MOST INSANE SOLO SYKES HAS DONE WAS ON THE TRACK ''THUNDER AND LIGHTENING'' THINN LIZZY
Cold Sweat is up there as well as some of the solos he did with Tygers of Pan Tang
Everything on that album was awesome!
Very Good!!
AMAZING!
This is the Whitesnake lineup that should have stayed together for sure. Sure wish Sykes would come out of hiding and put music out again.
