Halo Infinite's Campaign Soundtrack has been officially released and I've got to say it's absolutely incredible. It is pure Halo and I'm soooo pleased with it 😍
The three composers, Joel Corelitz, Curtis Schweitzer and Gareth Coker have done a fantastic job with this soundtrack. Let me know which one becomes your favourite :)

"Just promise me one thing. Whatever happens. Save him. He needs you. You're all he has..."
"We do it together"
"How...How can you trust me?"
"I don't...but I want to"
Halo Infinite already made me truly have hope for Halo again, but this scene is what gave me assurance it wasn't false.
Also why do I feel like her last words might have two meanings? The Weapon may have said it for the Pilot but I feel like those were also Cortana's final words to The Weapon for Chief once they reunite.
That word made me sad
“I don’t. But I want to” perfectly describes me and 343
Right now, we're kind of fucked over by that few month burst of it. I hope 343 pulls themselves together and starts getting things done.
@@haydenchu58 I was wryly smiling throughout the entire Cortana flashback scene, considering it was basically an apology note from 343
The fact everyone is commenting different time stamps really shows how fire the whole OST is
Ahaha so true man!
Facts. And all the tracks come on at just the right time in the campaign. But if you miss it because you are having too much fun grappling around, it would be okay
@@SangheiliSpecOp Lol not okay for me because I barely noticed most of these T^T
...or how long
@@EggEnjoyer definitely. I miss the cutscenes like The Covenant from halo 3 that set up big battles
As a musician, this ost is vastly underrated. The way it manages to take parts of older Halo ost works and turn them into brand new melodies, while feeling like proper modern music and has so many emotional highs. This ost could have backed a great film and it would have earned an oscar. It's a shame game journalists dont understand great music
Hell, they don't even understand games!
Its alright we will always be around to show the proper respect. May not have the recognition from Hollywood or big business but they got us
What weighed heavily on Halo 4 and 5 was the soundtrack. It's horrible in every aspect, in many places I don't even notice the soundtrack. Totally inconsequential soundtrack of Halo 4 and 5.
The soundtrack of Infinite has improved a lot compared to the previous two games, but so much costs to hire Martin O'donnell again?
On par with interstellar
@@zito2526 really? I love some of the soundtracks from halo 4, feels different but still halo

Possibly #2 most recognized next to the Halo theme

iv been looking for this since i finished mcc. damn im in love with this.

1:47:56 When this part played during the Campaign, it really hit me
Yes! Such an amazing song.
They let me pick, did I ever tell you that? Choose whichever timestamp I wanted. Like the others, you were iconic, catchy, and unique. But you had something they didnt, something no-one saw but me...can you guess? Halo 3.
The last dungeon was loaded with old references. Even as someone who started Halo in 2015 with MCC, that stuff really hit deep

I love this one so much!
Never gonna get over 2:21:23
This soothes my soul. It's very reminiscent of the Halo Wars soundtrack, and almost sounds like that style applied to classic halo tracks.
Love Halo Wars Soundtrack, its my absolute favourite
The Master of all games in the univerus. Halo Infinitie, open world is the best first personshoter of 2021 by far! Respect voor 343 industrie how far we are now in the story.

You can really hear Gareth Coker coming through with this one. Beautifully distinct sound.
I can't believe how epic the tower sounds. 45:00 - 46:05.
My absolute favorite piece of music in all of halo history.
Truth and reconciliation vibes
Definately Coker's work..has the Ori vibe with halo
2nd this. That part introducing Chok’tall and the dramatic start of the music there; so good I played that cutscene over and over I just love that dramatic intro. Love both old and new from this soundtrack and feels good knowing I’ll be playing infinite for years to come.
Reminded me a little bit of Destiny's The Last Array with that section

Beat the campaign the other night, definitely one of my favorite Halo campaigns. Really loved how many musical callbacks there were, while still having its own take on things. Definitely a huge improvement over 4 & 5's directions in terms of OST, in my opinion. I liked some songs from those games too, but Infinite's OST really just feels so much more classic Halo-y to me.
When that Halo 2 credits motif came up at the end though, got hyped as fuck.
Did you notice the music change as you played? Like a specific instrament became more prominent, infinite has an adaptive music system
@@alexanderwilliams1859 I did! I absolutely love the adaptive music in Infinite, always thought that stuff was SO cool
There were so many instances where I was like, "Hey, that's CE," or "Hey, that's Halo 3."
But when the Halo 2 music kicked in at the end, literal shakes through my body. I just couldn't keep still.
Our boy Fernando Esparza was literally the embodiment of the player at the end.
I think halo 5’s soundtrack was incredibly misplaced because it definitely had a few amazing tracks but they were paired with the worst/most unforgettable parts of the campaign
A good few examples are the osiris suite, light is green, and the trial.
This soundtrack has earned its place right next to the original trilogy. So many moments of nostalgia while adding so many new favorites.
1:49:32 this part puts me to tears hearing this it reminds me of the playing combat evolved when it first came out it wasn't just a game it helped me coupe with anxiety depression Ik it has nothing to do with the game but this is why halo will always be a master piece
It’s stunning man. Brings tears to my eyes as well
Weird to think how little I self applied the labels of anxiety or depression back then tho
My childhood in a 10 second long segment. I miss being a kid and hopping on so carelessly to play halo. Time never stops :(
When chief says 'we make mistakes, thats what makes us human'. Man. Teared up heavily there. Thats what halo is. A human hellbent on saving an imperfect race. Masterchief ,the myth, the man, the legend.
This plays when you get Cortana from High Charity in Halo 3. She says, “Keep your head down. There’s two of us in here now… remember?”
30:28 is hands down the best one. Absolutely classic! Brings tears to my eyes. God I love halo
It's just iconic man.
I just hit that part of the campaign. I hopped in the tank, started rolling down the road to the enemy base and this theme started blaring through my headphones. So many enemies along the path that had dogged me for most of the game, just laying waste with the tank's main gun and the theme pounding away. The most pure Halo experience I've had since Arrival in Halo 4.
When I heard this all of my childhood memories came back to me 🥲
@@zrex3927 100 percent
@@HolmesCory yeah man, halo 4’s soundtrack is amazing too. Arrival is one of my favorites
"Zeta Halo" (6:48) is my new favorite version of the Iconic song. it keeps the original chorus at the beginning which is great. But the last half, with the female chorus added, just adds an extra level of peacefulness and tranquility. Makes me imagine myself walking into a church like structure, with light shining through the Stain Glass Windows, each of a image of Master Chief's great battles. And towards the back center, where the cross would be, instead would be a Statue of our Savior, Master Chief himself, one foot forward, Assault Rifle in hand looking up towards the sky at the ready for any threats to come down upon us.
The music sounds holy
Is Blaise really your name? I’ve never met anyone else besides a family member with that name.

This track played when I entered one of the more larger Banished Strongholds, and it was the most hypest thing ever. Hearing the Banished Officer scream at his troops to take me down as I wrecked their silos and excavating vehicles was so amazing. Enemies were appearing throughout the fight so naturally all while this music played. I could re-experience that moment over and over.

1:01:05 - 1:02:48 hits right in the feels (It's what plays in the Spartan Griffin cutscene in The Tower). It's an absolutely beautiful reminder that Chief is not a senseless killing machine, but is a just a human with feelings at the end of the day.
A testament to Marty and Michael that most of these tracks call back to their originals.
Damn just by 0:58 my heart was in the middle of an ecstasy on how good this soundtrack is

My first encounter with the Halo games was early 2020 and I've been a fan ever since.
The timing was perfect. Halo infinite was on the way, MCC kept getting better, and the halo community was just recovering from Halo 5.

My favorite halo infinite tracks
- The road (Do I even have to describe how much I love this one.)
- Escharum (I love the barbaric tone of this one, it just suits the brutes and the banished so well)
- Under Cover (the perfect night theme,, easily the best version of this soundtrack since CE)
- Hunters Dance (might not be a one to one remake of the covenant dance, but it still hits hard.)
- Spire (this soundtrack is so CE and halo 2 forerunner, reminds me of wondering through the forerunner structures in those games.)
- Echo 216 (Reminds me of the Military side of halo from the bungie days)
- The Tower (another great Military track, gives me some more WWll vibes)
- Endless (this one is pretty unique, though it's more 343 era, it still has it's touch of the bungie era)
- Silent Auditorium (343 era halo vibes with a bit of magistic fantasy, also is it just me that got minecraft vibes from this)
- Never tell me the odds (on a pale horse vibes, this probably my favorite track from Infinite, its just so epic)
- Gbraakon Escape (reminds me of unyielding from halo 2)
- Excavation site (loved this one from the campaign footage)
- We do it together (did anyone catch the halo 3 intro music in this one)
- Know My Legend (those chords from Floodgate still give the chills)
Man there's so much good about this soundtrack for this game, I love all of them. It's such a great mix of both eras of halo, and mashes so well.

@@adampalma3765 just some things w multiplayer and lack of content that should’ve been added at launch but i’m not complaining just what i’ve seen
@@adampalma3765 Btb still not working properly, desync, rankingsystem being whack, not even half the modes halo 3 (not to speak of reach) launched with, the shop being a blatant cashgrab (paying for the color blue in halo, really??), random crashes on a bunch of setups, very empty and repetitive open world with basically only one biome (feels like a Ubisoft title in a bad way), no forge and a wonky theater mode that they themselves have said that they can't fix and would have to redo completely so they just won't for now.
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with it. But it's far far from perfect, and it's not even what they said it would be. Personally I think they promised too much. I'd be much happier if they skipped the open world and had missions that actually felt meaningfully different from each other.
"What makes us human" is a strong honoring of what Cortana and Capt. Lasky independently once said to the Master Chief. The whole soundtrack and story of Infinite is highly captivating and makes me very involved with the happenings on Zeta Halo. Beautiful. Thanks for this upload.
Can we just talk about how Finale has such an obvious musical callback to the Halo 2 ost, I love it.

Yeah Infinite has one of my favorite gameplay loops of any halo game, the grappleshot acting like a meathook that can grapple to land is really fun
One of the best soundtracks in modern gaming. 343 outdid themselves on this end at least. The campaign was enjoyable as well but it definitely needs expansions.
I'm almost sure there will be expansions to come. There are things on the map that seem interactable and SPOILERS AHEAD:

I remember the time I bought xbox 360 back in 2007 and Halo 3 came as a bundle. Played Halo 2 and was so desperately waiting for the next part. Played it and gave me the best time of my life. Fast forward 14 years later, playing Halo Infinite on a series s, I got those 2004 -7 vibes again and it made me tear up knowing that some of the best memories that I made was with myself playing the best games of the generation. The soundtrack gave me flashback of memories of the fights with flood and covenant brutes and me trying so hard on legendary to finish them off. Memories of me playing alone learning lessons from a fictional game.
Master chief gives us inspiration in real life to stay hopeful, struggle hard for this life and next life no matter what the odds.
Thanks 343 for making an awesome new masterpiece part of Halo. ❤️

also forgot Hunter's Dance, and Under Cover.
All three shall stand the test of time as some of the best renditions of the original tracks and motifs.
I would give under cover a solid 10, it’s really good especially with the little electric piano notes in the beginning, it’s by far my favorite track in this game and a pleasure hearing it at night in the game as well, I miss Marty but they absolutely smashed this soundtrack out of the park it’s so good
Everything is 100/10 lol
Sounds like Marty even though it isn't Marty. Incredible!
Through the trees is so good and nostalgic
Yeah, I love how they brought that back, and maybe even improved upon it!
Wow, I love that they've taken the approach of mixing the old and new styles together. Tracks such as Endless take a *very* heavy inspiration from the haunting ambient pieces from Halo 4 such as Aliens, Legacy or Haven
Escharum's theme is the best of them all.
Y'knkw, despite how everyone felt about Halo for the past two years, I still think there's a place for Halo and an opportunity for it to properly return.
There is so much within that game that was genuinely amazing, the soundtrack, gameplay mechanics, story, etc. Maybe I'm wrong about this and there's no chance for Halo to be saved, but I'll continue holding out hope until it's truly gone.
Absorbing every single second of this
1:42:25 And how Esharum comes from the shadows is epic!
Man, hunter’s dance really sounds like Covenant Dance to me. I feel like Excavation site, Zeta Halo and Endless really define this games' sound type. So cool 😁👍
Adjutant Resolution 😱
amazing campaign, amazing soundtrack and design. if only coop was in at launch, this would be the only halo to be a 10/10 since 3.
Seriously the lack of co op hurts considering how good it is. Makes it impossible to wait if co op partner was a fan of the game too
42:08 is an absolute vibe…. Im sick waiting to go under surgery maybe an I’m listening to this beautiful piece of art.
Escharum is probably the theme I remember from the campaign the most... it has this foreboding and brutal sound, but also welcomes the player to bravely push on and conquer that danger in a way that feels exciting and inviting. Really great piece of score.
I love how Infinite is so similar yet different compared to all the halo games
Decided to listen to this while at the gym and I gotta say, its one of the best work out playlist I've ever had the pleasure of listening too.
the vocal in Endless is pure epic
Wow, it really is haunting. Getting Halo 4 vibes from that one
All are great but "Escharum," in particular, is AWESOME to me!!! The powerful drum beats and strings are just...❤❤❤❤
Silent Auditorium sounds so haunting. Like having to face something you arent ready for. The moments when running to the Auditorium and hearing tidbits of Cortana's speech and seeing her interactions with Atriox made it even more emotional.
Absolutely felt the same. When the weapon tells you “this is the place she died” and the door to the next hallway opens I just stood there for a minute to collect myself
I love that one. Endless hits the same spot, but whereas that track is incredibly Halo 4 sounding (see 'Aliens' from H4 OST), Silent Auditorium does something weird where it sounds simultaneously Bungie and 343I era, while at the same time having its own unique sound. It's chilling, and I fukin love it, those vocals at 2:11:30 are so creepy and awesome.
The version of the Halo Theme that plays during Judgment is one of my favourite versions of the theme, its so good!
I’m a little sad because it does not have a cover for my favorite “NEVER FORGET” they forgot never forget 😞
They forgot never forget.. 😂..sounds poetic...more like paradox
There are bits of it that play in a cutscene during the 2nd mission but... yeah
That song is hard to remake without either completely cloning it lazily or losing the essence of it... the H3 version is hard to top
Ransom's keep made me SOO happy. That just was the moment where i genuinely said.. this OST is incredible
No matter in whatever state halo is in right now. The music is top tier legendary.
YALL gonna cry about multiplayer but halo infinite's Campaign was Fan-tas-tic. However for some reason they removed some old soundtracks from the campaign and i dont understand why...
Thank-You for this. Best listening whilst working playlist I've had for a while 👍
No worries man! :)
Man. Sequence at 1:24:03 just puts you in a trance. What a great track and great atmosphere. And Test of Mettle at 1:56:58….damn that could be transposed straight into a metal song that punches you right in the face. Almost sounds like the orchestral equivalent of a Tool song or something. Never Tell Ne the Odds at 1:50:11, LOVE that 7/8 with some clever hihat licks on the drum kit. This soundtrack is a banger. One of the best ever.
Really well said, the whole soundtrack is phenomenal and I love the way the tracks make you feel 👌
This game's soundtrack is so damn wonderful. There were times I was listening to it and was like "Oh yeah that's Gareth" "Ay this was for sure Curtis". Those 2 in particular (the composers of Ori and Starbound) were such good picks for this project and they did so damn great with not making things too busy. Just enough to keep things tribal, hopefull, and atmospheric.
My favorate Halo soundtrack out of all the games, Halo 2 being a close second.
Why is no one talking about Judgement. Track's a masterpiece
Has anyone heard Through the Trees randomly playing in the campaign yet? It's probably my favorite track, and unfortunately I've only heard it during the credits so far.
I heard it a couple times, loved it. However it’s just a slightly modified version of it compared to the one in the credits yet since I alrdy know that song I’m just there playing it in my head🤧
@@misterbIuey ahh great, thank you man :) I can reast easy now, knowing they put tbis masterpiece in the game.
I havent heard it, under cover played for like 15 seconds before i entered the area of a mission and it stopped 🤣
Español: específicamente ese soundtrack cuando exploras lugares sin enemigos y cuando atacas a los desterrados con esa pieza sonando suena la version original
One of the greatest fucking soundtracks ever made
The first few songs kicked me back in time, back before the pandemic, before picking up an alcohol issue, before shit got real bad... To a time when I actually enjoyed life. When I had mornings where I woke up, stretched and sighed. Not in pain or stiffness, but in excitement. "What'll I do today?" I wondered often as a child. Then I got older. Lived a little. Life became far less sunny, and more... Stormy. The light of youthful optimism amd innocence gave way to the cynical, jaded gray clouds of my teen years.. Only to fall into a black storm of pain, depression, and self-disappointment that is my adult years thus far. This... Helps me relax some.
28:17 really nobody mentions this? Its amazing. These drums just scream ‘Halo’.
Amazing soundtrack all around.
Got major Halo 2 vibes mixed with CE style drums at the beginning of the track. Loved the spin they put on the track
Halo Infinite is an amazing game, I’m nearly at the end but I loving this game to bits.
HALO INFINITE.. the best HALO since REACH. Excellent OST too. I can’t find anything to dislike about this game. 343 did HALO justice and that is no easy feat.
Just finished halo infinite campaign in two days and the soundtrack is amazing as always
Dude, beat the campaign in Legendary. The pain was magnificent.
30:52 when master chief blew up the tower and jumped into the pelican and this played holy shit
Gbraakon is probably my favourite opening mission of the series, even beating out pillar of autumn - very similar vibes, but turned up to 11. Also, The Tower is one of the best OSTS and I wish the mission was a little longer so you can really appreciate it, although I guess it was kind of the introduction to the open world + that section below the tower in addition to the actual tower gameplay
Also Gbraakon Escape is remix of H2's Unyielding if you listen closely. Full agree on Tower. That was the track really made me pay attention to soundtrack from then onward.
30:28 they made a really good version of this
It makes me cry honestly. The nostalgia is overwhelming
