Played with my grandson listening to this mix. We had an epic story where the empire shot down my grandson and his pet and his droid sidekick (that has saved my grandson life many times) they crash land on a mysterious world with squadrons of stormtroopers and probe-droids not far behind searching for them. They meet strange new friends (played by my grandsons friends) that hide and protect them and fight along side my grandson and his companions in an epic battle for survival! The evil Moff Cartius (Thats me) unleashes the might of the empire to destroy them with his entire legion of troops lead by the sith agents Zarith Cathro (played by a star wars fan and friend of mine) and Anana deathore (played by my girlfriend) it was a 3 hour jorney that in the end my grandson escapes off the front porch blasting off to the (neighbors house) rebel alliance headquarters in the region.
Much love. Sorry for your loss. Hey, you found the one in a million lady who loved Star Wars. You are blessed. I lived with my wife for 20 years and she still has never cared to watch the original trilogy with me.

In honor of Obi-Wan Kenobi: Obi Wan is one of the most powerful Jedi to have ever lived. He is the best defensive duelist in galactic history according to Mace Windu and numerous factbooks. He had a low sensitivity to the force but mastered it to his fullest potential worshiping the force as opposed to bending it to his will. This caused the force to take a liking of sorts to him, and became one wth him during fights. Obi Wan was one of only two Jedi in cannon to have achieved this state and it gave him unlimited potential which is why he was able to match the chosen one with a force amp (Mustafar is a dark side nexus strengthening dark side force users). So in raw power he ranks within the top 3 jedi of his time, almost unparalleled with the blade and the force. But that is not where a true jedi’s Strength should lay. And that's the reason why Obi Wan is the most dangerous Jedi in the galaxy to Sidious and the empire. Obi Wan is a light in the darkness, a realist representing what a Jedi should be, not what they are. The clone wars was a low point for the Jedi, all lost track of their ideals, their morals, all except for Kenobi. He knew that the Jedi had ineffective, counterproductive, pointless rules, so he worked his way around them. Obi Wan has better reason to turn to the dark side than perhaps any other Jedi, including Anakin. He lost so much through failure, his master, Dooku, countless friends in clone wars, and worst of all, he trained the man who ended the Jedi order, and he still failed to end it when he had the chance. His best friend took what he had given his life to. But instead of lusting after more power after these failures, he slaught balance. In the clone wars he was the only member of the Jedi high council that spoke out against the training of insurgents, he was one of the only Jedi who treated his clones as men, he did not forget the innocents of the war, and it is shown throughout the clone wars that his forces went out of their way to save innocents. The best example of this is when Maul, the man that had killed Obi Wan’s father figure, his wife and love of his life, and devouted his entire existence to making Kenobi Suffer, came after Kenobi for the last time. When other Jedi would have ended the fight as quickly as possible, Obi Wan lived up to his reputation as the negotiator. Instead of attacking he attempted to negotiate, to talk Maul out of it, to ask him to move on, to get on with his life. And when Maul does attack he makes the end as quick as possible, and when it’s over, he does what no Jedi ever would have, he comforts Maul. He comforts the man that took his father figure and the love of his life. Telling him about his mission, to protect the chosen one. This is why he was the most dangerous Jedi to the empire, unlike other survivors of order 66 he didn’t lose track of his ideals, stead he drew them closer. As long as he survived he preserved the idea of a jedi in the best way possible. As long as he survived there was the potential for the Jedi to rise again in a more perfect form. Obi Wan was powerful yes, but that was not his greatest strength, instead it was his steadfast opposition to the dark. He was the one thing that went wrong in Sidious’s plan, the master of trolling spit in the face of Palpatine’s plan. His survival enabled the Jedi to rise again more powerful than ever, his survival redeemed his best friend and set the galaxy on course to peace.
I watched that film, when it was new released in the cinema with my son, when he was 16. He died at the age of 30. But the memory about the impressive "star wars" is still alive and will not disappear. ...
With the fact he had such a short time to develop the score it turned out so good Every time I hear the opening of Star Wars I think of the opening of Rogue One and how they intermix so well
@Europe I've noticed that the one thing that never lets us down in the films and the shows is the soundtrack. I've just finished the Mandalorian, and wow, that soundtrack deserves to be talked about more. Goransson is a genius.
same man, i’m only 14 and man i remember going to my dads every other day and watching the clone wars all night (while supposed to be sleeping) when i was like 7, good times fly by man
The sequels aren't my favorite thing ever but man Rey's Theme is just fantastic. It perfectly depicts just the fun and wonder from the Star Wars universe.
Yes, but I also think the first song dedicated to Rey is great 20:14 The Scavenger (The Force Awakens) - the combination of strings, brass and piano is just perfect, this track is so universally brilliant!:) For me this is the best of all those 3 movies, cause apart from great Artbooks, this music is the only real great thing sequels have given us! :)
To all Rey haters-the character of Rey would have worked very well in a totally restructuring of the last films if she’d been allowed to fail so completely that any film with a title like ‘Rise of Skywalker’ might actually have found meaning within a more impactful story and could have done it without Luke needing to sacrifice himself the way he did. Kathleen Kennedy’s meddling and needing everything to be stamped with ‘I am woman, hear me roar’ has done a huge disservice to several important IP’s and she should be put out on the street where she do no more damage. Good story telling is what’s needed, not one woman’s personal crusade about…..what’s this lady’s issue….? Oh. Yeah. Men. And understanding plot lines, sensical carry over from one movie to the next, keeping her piggy fingers out of the minds of creative individuals, etc. If she hadn’t done such a good job of polishing Spielberg’s knob(s), she’d be a secretary for a publishing house about to go out of business. I can’t say enough good things about the most destructive and least creative woman in Hollywood. It’s pointlessly endless.. Or.. Endlessly pointless?
Thx Mr Lucas. Isn't Mr. Lucas like an uncle? I have an uncle I never see who flew jets for the U.S. Navy and it was magic when he visited. Really was. Thank you "Uncle George"!

I've studied to so many lessons through time you wouldn't believe it. We all speak different languages, but music is the one language we can all understand. It has a power to take us to the top of mountains, to flip our moods in a third of a second. And to makes us feel like we could take over a country with a stick. Music, is like an oasis to shield us all from the worries of the world, and to make the worst times of our lives disappear... love u all ❤
Star Wars, like Star Trek, James Bond, Lord of the Rings and so many other lasting film series, owes an enormous debt to the lyricism and story-telling power of their respective soundtracks. We should all appreciate the artists behind this music.
I'm listening to this right now, as my sleeping mix to prepare for my sports exams tomorrow. I'm going to ace them, or crumble to the trying. Will try to remember to update within 24-48 hours
The lonely, sad trumpet at 11:10 will always make my heart sink. I remember being in the theatre watching Rogue One and holding out hope that somehow Jyn and Cassian would make it off the planet, only to see the Death Star dawn on the horizon with this exact moment in the music. It's a note of profound sadness, of knowing that these two were going to die on that planet, and for us the viewers knowing exactly how much of this story had yet to unfold. Yet there's a touch of hope there, because we do know the end to this story, that eventually hope does triumph. I just wish Jyn, Cassian, and the other members of Rogue One got to see it...
Thank you so much for this. My parents bought me John Williams' score for Star Wars in 1977, when I was 12 years old. I've loved many of these themes for 40+ years, and this is a lovely mix. Very much appreciated!

Ehrenhund imagine having this much free time
Thank you Disney for cancelling all of it and making the OT pointless with the ST
...and ewan mcgregor is a literal legend
@Philip und David:
Read this!
And may the force be with you!
Listening to this whilst reading was amazing, so cool
Your mix honors the soundtrack. It's an experience in its own right. Hats off !!!
That Rogue One to Last Jedi transition was dope.
just had this pop up on TY...Perfect way to spend sunday afternnon while sorting paperwork....and 3 days to mando as well
I watched that film, when it was new released in the cinema with my son, when he was 16. He died at the age of 30. But the memory about the impressive "star wars" is still alive and will not disappear. ...
May the Force be with you always.
@@lifeisnotaproblem Thank You ! 👍
I hope you have a long and happy life. God bless
@@kerolokerokerolo 👍❤👍☘
Condolences. That's so sad to hear. No parent should have to go through the loss of a child. 😢 May the Force be with you.
I've come back and listened to this like 7 or 8 times now.
Well done. Also, Rogue One's soundtrack is criminally underrated
Agree. It's really good, especially Hope Suite
@@peterandreaskirklossius825 the hope suite and jyn erso's theme is my favourite :)
Michael Giachinno is the natural inheritor of John Williams. His amazing Incredibles score is proof enough.
With the fact he had such a short time to develop the score it turned out so good
Every time I hear the opening of Star Wars I think of the opening of Rogue One and how they intermix so well
@Europe I've noticed that the one thing that never lets us down in the films and the shows is the soundtrack. I've just finished the Mandalorian, and wow, that soundtrack deserves to be talked about more. Goransson is a genius.
19:30 Across the Stars from Episode II has to be one of the most iconic Prequel Trilogy masterpieces ever
This music is soooo nostalgic, crazy how time flies since when I was a kid first watching the prequels and Clone Wars. Always gonna love Star Wars ;)
same man, i’m only 14 and man i remember going to my dads every other day and watching the clone wars all night (while supposed to be sleeping) when i was like 7, good times fly by man
@@yunggrilledcheese6974 indeed!
We can all argue for hours aboute originals/sequels/prequels but it is the music score that unites us all for love of SW! :-)
I listened to this during a session of Empire At War. Destroying a massive imperial fleet never felt more relaxing.
After a long day i turned of my PC with its video games, took out my Star Wars book and begann to read sitting on the couch. Absolute peace.
Yeah, not like Rey at all.
Rey was a good concept, Honestly...
But KK and all her stupid accolytes destroyed everything.
The sequels are awful. Hell, I'd rather watch the Prequels instead of that woke nonsense.
May the force be with everyone who has, is, or will listen to this playlist always
This is my favorite star wars mix. I consistently come back to it and am reminded how good it is each time. Thank you 🙏
Thx Mr Lucas. Isn't Mr. Lucas like an uncle? I have an uncle I never see who flew jets for the U.S. Navy and it was magic when he visited. Really was. Thank you "Uncle George"!
dude, yoda's theme hit me so hard. i got tears in my eyes.
you aren't alone
.....every single time it chokes me up.
the transition was so perfect
I feel you
one i hate is rogue one what erso had to do even though her father was one of them
I've researched for and written my thesis to this music and I absolutely ACED it. Thanks for the music and may the force be with all other university students listening to this right now.
Wholesome flex
pulling an all nighter during finals week and this music makes me feel at peace. May the force be with you
I want Across the Stars played at my wedding what a beautiful piece of music!
Same here. If i don’t hear across the stars at my wedding, it is simply not over
Hopefully your marriage will be a lot more successful than Anakin and Padme's was :-)
I don't care what people say about the new movies. The scores are awesome, and have the same impact as the original ones. I like the music, everything else is debatable.
ireally loves when I find Starwars fans everywhere, and shelters like this for all of us.
Literally the only star wars content from the sequels that is worth consuming. John Williams is amazing!
Props to you for sitting through the sequel trilogy music. I was just skipping those lol
Rogue one....so hauntingly beautiful..
Love the Mandalorian music at the end.
Hey there, I've just wanted to say that of all the music I've listened to while studying, this scratched my itch the best. Four years without fail. I've studied to so many lessons through time you wouldn't believe it. Star Wars and it's music will always be special to me but your mix is masterful and there is not a single moment where it feels off. Thanks for giving this to my life. May all the success you strive to achieve be yours
I LOVE how at the end of "The High Council Meeting" theme it has the "Dark Side" theme play for a bit. What magnificent foreshadowing through music.
As much as Rey's story was not really done well, John Williams scored an absolute masterpiece for her. The Scavenger is just incredibly beautiful.
I am a grown ass man, but this sound here is enough to give me chills and to let me cry because of how beautiful it sounds 51:24 and 56:31
Maybe it's because you weren't a grown ass man when you first heard it.
If you read this, doesn't matter where you are right now on this planet, I wish you a wonderful and a happy peaceful life where all your dreams become true. Sending love to all ❤❤
Love the logical musical transitions between the pieces... very well done
Soundtracks like this make me feel a filling that I know can never be filled.
We all speak different languages, but music is the one language we can all understand. It has a power to take us to the top of mountains, to flip our moods in a third of a second. And to makes us feel like we could take over a country with a stick. Music, is like an oasis to shield us all from the worries of the world, and to make the worst times of our lives disappear... love u all ❤
all it takes is a motivated person with a sharp stick to win the day
Star Wars, like Star Trek, James Bond, Lord of the Rings and so many other lasting film series, owes an enormous debt to the lyricism and story-telling power of their respective soundtracks. We should all appreciate the artists behind this music.
We do, my friend. Regularly, people call John Williams the entire reason Star Wars was such a success.
23:40 the transition between The Scavenger and Anakin's Dream is just so smooth
There are a number of phrases I have heard since childhood. Every time I hear them, my mind flies to the galaxy.
This playlist: pops up in my suggested videos.
Me: "A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one."
Happy Star Wars day

How could you not love star wars? So much adventure is waiting for you
Aaah. The times. The memories. That great franchise,
May the force be with you, always.
I have listened to many of these compositions, but this one may be the most seamlessly blended. Really well done.
I'm listening to this right now, as my sleeping mix to prepare for my sports exams tomorrow. I'm going to ace them, or crumble to the trying. Will try to remember to update within 24-48 hours
Good luck!
Finished top 3 in all but running where I pulled first.
The Algorithm: Star Wars Mix Tape?
Me: Yeah, good.
That's my line
To see through that bright horizon. To see.... *a new hope*
The music isn't often talked about enough for Star Wars. The success of Star Wars is how the music suspends your disbelief.
I do one hour of reading everyday (mostly Star Wars books) and this helps me to time it and have a cooler experience while reading, thank you!
honestly the transistions are insane, most of john williams' music goes together so well bruh
That transition from rey's theme 23:08 til 24:30 Across the stars motif is just too good
Thank you so much for this. My parents bought me John Williams' score for Star Wars in 1977, when I was 12 years old. I've loved many of these themes for 40+ years, and this is a lovely mix. Very much appreciated!
I never knew brown as such a calming color when I think back to Obi Wan Kenobi...
The nostalgic force is strong with the color brown.
I will definitely be using this in my solo Journaling roleplaying game it's Mandalorian/ Han Solo inspired
Nice! Sounds awesome!
Beautiful Music
This popped up on auto-play after the last video I was watching....i didn't even change it for like 45 mins! Great mix, love me some Star Wars
This IS the music you're looking for....beautiful compilation, thank you
Your Father Would be Proud is easily my favorite star wars song that's not a mainstay. What a beautiful piece.
John Williams, Michael Giacchino, John Powell and Ludwig Göransson are the masterminds behind these masterpieces.
StarWars on soundtrack its always FLAWLESS.
Thomas-it’s April 8th in the year of Covid. .. ...and somehow this collection was just what we needed to hear. To restore hope.
Thank you sir.
The only thing that has stayed consistently awesome throughout all Star Wars movies is the amazing music that accompanied each installment
Great background music whilst working
Wow… Lando’s Closet is really beautiful 26:13
how can people not like this!!!?????

The only thing Disney hasn't mest up is the music ❤
This mix is genius
This is by far the best Star Wars 'incidental' mix on RUclips.
Who else felt like the video was just going to end too quickly because of how immensely quality-dense this entire hour of a video is?

Oh the good ol days, back when liking Star Wars was fun.
The backdrop looks like me lying in bed trynna sleep at 3am
(No hate, I absolutely love it!)
This is real music. It's the soul of Star Wars vision, and just as big a quantum leap as the visuals over the movies of the time.
