    I just bought a slightly [low kilometers] used CT125 and appreciate your list of accessories! After a few off-road rides, I decided that front shocks were the first big upgrade, followed by rear shocks.

      yeah especially that front end when it hits a rut on a dirt road and sends a more shuttle shake through the bike. 13t front well worth having and cheap too

    I got caught in the rain yesterday and I mean it was pouring like hell... After a while and some mileage. The rain was like nails coming into my face (we don't have helmet laws here) My body could only take it so long but boy the bike was a champ and wanted to go a lot more I went through big ass water puddles too it was great I'm more impressed now than I was before😊 mind you I still need a helmet probably and some rain gear. But I don't think nothing would stop me at that point. (Of course you want to make sure all your gear is packed good so it doesn't end up wet that's a side issue tho)

      eah a helmet would be a plus thats for sure. good to hear you enjoyed the wet weather ride experience

    Well let's see, walk thru rack, headlamp rack , new seat buddy seat , bark busters ( good idea) , nice tires, shocks , buddy pegs, clock or something, spare fuel tank maybe, added a heat shield and a USB also phone holder extra mirror. I like it!

    The bike looks really good , looks like a little Landrover of the bike world , you don't need a 1200cc to get anywhere, well done 👍 seems lighter is better especially if your on your own riding.

    Hi Warro, just a couple of questions. I want to buy and fit the risers for the front mudguard. I seem to have read somewhere you had issues when you first fitted yours and you took them off? What do I need to consider and be careful about? Also would you consider the 41 rear and the 13 front to be the ‘ideal’ combination for hilly work and reasonable road riding? You mentioned that you had to redrill the rear 41 tooth sprocket? Can you not get a plug and play one? You are doing a great job! Andrew

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  3 года назад

      no problem with the riser and works fine apart from some instructions to fit would have helped or even just a note saying -remove the horn and that would have saved me a mudguard dent. plus be carefully with fitting the bolts back in as it would be easy to cross thread them
      i'd try the 13t/39 stiock first and it may be good enough. if not then go for the 41t which is not a plug and play fit and i had to drill out the holes.
      maybe later a factory 41t will pop up or one which does do a direct fit to the rear hub

    I have the same headlight guard and rack. Did yours come with 4 spacers? Mine just came with 3. I was wondering if the shorted me. I installed without any and I’m wondering now if i should pull it off and fin another spacer

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  3 года назад

      actually came with 4 so i'd say they did a short count. shouldnt be too hard to find something to use as a spacer from a hardware shop but using it would set it up my nicely i think

    Hey bro , you mentioned getting a bigger rear sprocket, well I'm here in the USA and a company called Rebel Gears makes custom sprockets for motorcycles, I have had 3 made and it only cost like $55.00 each and I think they ship internationally if not I'm sure you have somewhere in your country that does the same type of work... Just a tip for you.

    You haven't mention your chain stretching in a while. Did the 41t rear sprocket eliminate that or did you go with a new chain?
    Love your videos on the CT125 and all the information you have given out!
    I'm stuffing my pennys into a piggybank for one of these. I just might have enough when they start showing up in numbers here in the U.S.

      actually i bought the new chain a few weeks ago but still have not bothered putting it on the bike while i was just playing about with this cheaper front and rear sprocket changing. episodes on the bike.
      i might just carry on and see how it goes and when i have no choice do the lot then

      bike runs really well in all areas so its not a disappointing ride at all. not much i can say on the 500x side as of yet.
      since i picked it up roughly one week ago i have not ridden it and it still has just 3 klm on the clock. weather has been bad and i had a few ct125 clips to do.
      i plan to do my first ride run on the 500x within the next day or so as weather looks good

    That seems like a well thought out accessory selection recommendation. However, it looks to me that you would need that front mudguard lift modification in order to fit the big front tire. I would imagine that the stock front fender might not allow enough clearance for the larger tire, especially if it picks up a bit of mud during your ride. If you make a worst accessory clip, I bet that passenger seat tops the list. lol

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  3 года назад

      yeah i suppose the clip should have said 3 plus 1...lol but there are a couple of nice accssories in that bunch of 21 for thse who have the bike and care to take alook at whats available and what not to buy
