alright guys here's the scoop. I have a 2022, honda red. He is correct about understanding the limitations of this bike and what kind of situations it does well in. That being said I put a gold plug on it, and I have a big tool box I screwed into the threads on the back rack. That is literally all i've done and frankly that's all I plan on doing for a long time. That is because this bike is extremely capable and well built. I've ridden for hours at a time and I can put my whole hand on the stock heat sink, which gets warm, but never hot enough to actually burn you. Absolutely not. Unless you are the pickiest person in the world, or you have a sponsor, then let this baby ride stock. Don't be fooled into thinking you need to modify the crap out of it. OK you have my interest. Thanks for the comprehensive review, this looks like a bike you can just jump on and off all day and would be easy to lug around the yard. Just one observation about that tail extension, if you actually use it for storage does it not block out the rear light and obstruct the view of the rear indicators? I guess it doesn't matter on tracks and trails especially in daylight but that's not likely to be the kind of trip where you'd need it anyway. Other than that, all the mds are great.
