Also, if you put a tiny bit of shortening onto the back of the dalgona stamps it will slow down the dissolving on the cake... as with fondant, any sugar product in moisture will disintegrate somewhat quickly..
In Scotland, we call that puff candy. In other English speaking countries it's called honeycomb, or cinder toffee. So in Scotland this would be called puff candy cake. Looks delicious!!!

We call it sponge toffee in Canada. Granted it’s usually made in larger batches and not stirred as much. This makes the dalgona much finer. I imagine it tastes similar. You can buy it in chunks here- it might save some steps for those who aren’t comfortable with sugar.

I made this cake, it was so good!! I used cashew instead of peanuts and used only half of the whipping cream and it came out so well , I also made the earl grey cake and the combination was god like, the taste along with the fragrance made as if I entered heaven. The cake itself is really small, my family ate the entire thing in one sitting (it was that good). I'm made this for my mother's bday, but she requested from me to make it again next week, so yeah it was big hit in my family. Thanks for the recipe.
I made your dalgona cream with both earl grey tea sponge cake and coffee sponge cake, i think coffee sponge cake goes so well with dalgona cream. This is my most favorite cream. Thank you for sharing
