Now,I'm going to give my own review on #BatmanvSuperman #DawnOfJustice but just on few specific details. First off it was fully awesome, it began with Clark Kent aka #Superman and Bruce Wayne aka #Batman both discussing about both of their point of views about their alter egos until Lex Luthor jr steps in and playful greet both Clark and Bruce, I thought it was very humorous especially he said about Clark's hand shake, "You do not want to pick a fight with this guy." Then the trailer showed Bruce was willing to wage war on #Superman because according to the synopsis to the movie Bruce is too afraid to think about what would happen if Superman is left unchecked, in comics, #Batman have been a paranoid towards something very unfamiliar to the world, next the trailer showed #Batman and #Superman were duking it out, where #Superman was saying to #Batman "Don't get up, if I wanted to you'd be dead already", that right there to me is text book #Superman, Henry Cavill is doing a wonderful job playing that character. And then things got even interesting: Doomsday entered the scene that was so cool, Lex jr used Zod's DNA to create him which it gave Doomsday heat vision/breath which I find it over-the-top excellent, it may not how that happened but we'll just have to wait to see that is correct or not. Okay I'll admit showing Doomsday in the trailer was a bit too revealing but come on people that alone isn't much of a spoiler, we all knew that Doomsday would show up in this movie and you people act like you've seen the whole movie which it really isn't. Another reason why most people are up in arms about the trailer is that it showed #Batman, #Superman and #WonderWoman standing together at the end of the trailer and Doomsday enter the scene right before it because they are really believe that it's about #Batman going up against #Superman. Well news flash to these people, it is not what this movie is about at all, you see most people have mistaken the title Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice which led them believe it's some kind of a versus movie, the letter "v" doesn't necessarily mean it stands for versus, now a I said before it's not solely about #Superman and #Batman fighting each other, it's about both of them having different points of view, and the Dawn of Justice part is where Diana and Doomsday make their appearance which it make a lot of sense for the title. Zack Snyder specifically said they made it "v" because they didn't wanna call it a versus movie, since that's not what it is. Lastly, that trailer was for general audience not just for us comic book fans and fanboys alike. I truly hope this really shed some light on this.

The thing about this movie is that everyone has expectations not only for the movie itself but also the characters. Everybody wants to see their owns vision of Batman and Superman. I believe this trailer is what killed BvS. Audiences already knew the entire plot, and all the surprises had already been revealed. Whoever approved this trailer should have been fired on the spot.

Why is everyone criticizing this movie for having too many characters, and generally too much going on in one film? What about Marvel? Captain America Civil War is featuring every freakin avenger possible and nobody's complaining about that.
+Adrian Smajlaj (“celticsbanner18”) I think it is, because most characters in Civil War, including the main two protagonists have already had several movies of exposition (including several where they alreday appeared together) and character arc so that they can branch right away to the main plot of this movie , which is actually the consequence of all that has happened between them in previous movies. Whereas here, bar Superman all the others in BvS, including a new Batman will be introduced and will take away time from the main plot just for character exposition, settings, relation building, increasing the likelihood of becoming too bloated and messy.

What some people miss or forget is that part of the film's plot is to build a relationship between the two main characters, they aren't suppose to know each other personally and then have a falling out. The other new supporting characters are suppose to do the same thing as well, build a relationship whether its one of dislike (Lex) or one of common goals (Wonder Woman). After all it is a prequel to Justice League so I would say it isn't taking away from the main plot.

I think the *information* revealed is fine, but the presentation makes it feel very overwhelming when it slaps all of these issues and heavy-hitters together in a long line. The Avengers trailers, at least, had an ongoing thread that encompassed familiar ground: Nick Fury trying to unite the Avengers (wom we knew) while Loki (whom we knew) worked against that in the first, and Ultron (who had a direct connection to people, events, and themes we knew) philosophizing in the second. This? It's the Batman vs Superman (sub)plot slapped next to the "Lex Luthor is a conniving tool" subplot next to the "OMG DOOMSDAY" reveal AND (sub???)plot next to the "Wonder Woman is a sudden wildcard" reveal and potential subplot. What's the thread liking them? Batman and Superman are kinda there. It's just...disorganized and disorienting. It doesn't lend itself to a cohesive trailer, and I'm personally worried it won't lead to a cohesive film.

To all the guys moaning about "This trailer spoiled the movie" tell me what exactly did it spoil? I would say nothing because everyone and their grandma knew Batman and Superman will unite with Wonder Woman to fight against the big villain in the third act that's what the title of this film says "Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice". By the way the official synopsis said the same as well. Don't tell me showing Doomsday in this trailer was a spoiler, we knew there's going to be a physical villain and Doomsday rumors were flying around for 2 years.

Batmans strengh is not his strength. He took down bigger guys than doomsday like Darkseid without throwing a single punch. Something the entire justice league could not. Because he would never give up and would sacrifice more than any of them.

To this day, I'm still shocked that some people still can't comprehend Batman's reasons for fighting Superman. The movie and trailers outright give the answers away, but it's like people ignore it and wanna come up with their own conclusions.
Astro Enthused He basically sees Superman as a ticking time bomb. Sure Supes hasn't done anything yet, but Batman has seen many allies become villains, so he's gonna try to kill Supes before that happens. Also the fight at Metropolis showed him how destructive Superman can be.
People understand it. It's just not very batman like. The whole 1% line is totally out of character. Add on to the fact that the whole "Martha" was such a weak payoff, and fans undoubtedly have the right to question the writing of the characters and script.

And I found the Martha scene actually good. Could it had been executed better? Absolutely. But most Batman movies and cartoons point out that his parents' deaths haunt him even in his adulthood.

So many people complaining about how they ruined the "surprise" that Superman and Batman team up after fighting. Did you REALLY think that the end of this movie would be one of them winning and the other losing and then roll credits? Everyone with a brain stem knew they would eventually team up in preparation for a Justice League movie. And to everyone saying it spoils the whole movie, be quiet. Cyborg is supposed to be in this movie too, and they haven't even hinted him in the trailers yet. Plus, Doomsday (kinda sorta) kills Superman later, so its possible that those 3 don't beat him at the end and Doomsday escapes to return in a later movie. Batman and Superman fight each other, then they team up. Even if you don't read comics, it should not be a surprise to you. You all knew it was going to happen. I'm surprised how many people complain about the length of the actual fight between Batman and Superman. Did you people really expect them to be fighting for the entire movie?? The title of the movie doesn't just refer to the physical fight they have. It refers to their relationship throughout the whole movie, there differences and them being enemies.

Now,I'm going to give my own review on #BatmanvSuperman #DawnOfJustice but just on few specific details. First off it was fully awesome, it began with Clark Kent aka #Superman and Bruce Wayne aka #Batman both discussing about both of their point of views about their alter egos until Lex Luthor jr steps in and playful greet both Clark and Bruce, I thought it was very humorous especially he said about Clark's hand shake, "You do not want to pick a fight with this guy."
Then the trailer showed Bruce was willing to wage war on #Superman because according to the synopsis to the movie Bruce is too afraid to think about what would happen if Superman is left unchecked, in comics, #Batman have been a paranoid towards something very unfamiliar to the world, next the trailer showed #Batman and #Superman were duking it out, where #Superman was saying to #Batman "Don't get up, if I wanted to you'd be dead already", that right there to me is text book #Superman, Henry Cavill is doing a wonderful job playing that character.
And then things got even interesting: Doomsday entered the scene that was so cool, Lex jr used Zod's DNA to create him which it gave Doomsday heat vision/breath which I find it over-the-top excellent, it may not how that happened but we'll just have to wait to see that is correct or not. Okay I'll admit showing Doomsday in the trailer was a bit too revealing but come on people that alone isn't much of a spoiler, we all knew that Doomsday would show up in this movie and you people act like you've seen the whole movie which it really isn't.
Another reason why most people are up in arms about the trailer is that it showed #Batman, #Superman and #WonderWoman standing together at the end of the trailer and Doomsday enter the scene right before it because they are really believe that it's about #Batman going up against #Superman. Well news flash to these people, it is not what this movie is about at all, you see most people have mistaken the title Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice which led them believe it's some kind of a versus movie, the letter "v" doesn't necessarily mean it stands for versus, now a I said before it's not solely about #Superman and #Batman fighting each other, it's about both of them having different points of view, and the Dawn of Justice part is where Diana and Doomsday make their appearance which it make a lot of sense for the title. Zack Snyder specifically said they made it "v" because they didn't wanna call it a versus movie, since that's not what it is.
Lastly, that trailer was for general audience not just for us comic book fans and fanboys alike.
I truly hope this really shed some light on this.

The thing about this movie is that everyone has expectations not only for the movie itself but also the characters. Everybody wants to see their owns vision of Batman and Superman. I think it is, because most characters in Civil War, including the main two protagonists have already had several movies of exposition (including several where they alreday appeared together) and character arc so that they can branch right away to the main plot of this movie , which is actually the consequence of all that has happened between them in previous movies.
Whereas here, bar Superman all the others in BvS, including a new Batman will be introduced and will take away time from the main plot just for character exposition, settings, relation building, increasing the likelihood of becoming too bloated and messy.

What some people miss or forget is that part of the film's plot is to build a relationship between the two main characters, they aren't suppose to know each other personally and then have a falling out. The other new supporting characters are suppose to do the same thing as well, build a relationship whether its one of dislike (Lex) or one of common goals (Wonder Woman). After all it is a prequel to Justice League so I would say it isn't taking away from the main plot.

Who decides not to go see one of the most anticipated films of all time over one trailer that showed just a little bit more than what you were hoping to.

+Red Hood None of the Marvel trailers stuck Superman, Doomsday, Lex Luthor, Batman, and Wonder Woman on the screen surrounded by clips from the entire length of the movie. I think the *information* revealed is fine, but the presentation makes it feel very overwhelming when it slaps all of these issues and heavy-hitters together in a long line. The Avengers trailers, at least, had an ongoing thread that encompassed familiar ground: Nick Fury trying to unite the Avengers (wom we knew) while Loki (whom we knew) worked against that in the first, and Ultron (who had a direct connection to people, events, and themes we knew) philosophizing in the second. This? It's the Batman vs Superman (sub)plot slapped next to the "Lex Luthor is a conniving tool" subplot next to the "OMG DOOMSDAY" reveal AND (sub???)plot next to the "Wonder Woman is a sudden wildcard" reveal and potential subplot. What's the thread liking them? Batman and Superman are kinda there. It's just...disorganized and disorienting. It doesn't lend itself to a cohesive trailer, and I'm personally worried it won't lead to a cohesive film.

I would say nothing because everyone and their grandma knew Batman and Superman will unite with Wonder Woman to fight against the big villain in the third act that's what the title of this film says "Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice". By the way the official synopsis said the same as well.

The only other thing I will say is that I don't care for this version of Lex even though I knew full well this was the version we were getting with Eisenberg cast. I don't hate this version of Lex, I just prefer the more cold and calculating one. (which from certain scenes from the other trailers it looks like he will be to at least a small extent)

And I found the Martha scene actually good. Could it had been executed better? Absolutely. But most Batman movies and cartoons point out that his parents' deaths haunt him even in his adulthood.

So many people complaining about how they ruined the "surprise" that Superman and Batman team up after fighting. Did you REALLY think that the end of this movie would be one of them winning and the other losing and then roll credits? Everyone with a brain stem knew they would eventually team up in preparation for a Justice League movie. And to everyone saying it spoils the whole movie, be quiet. Cyborg is supposed to be in this movie too, and they haven't even hinted him in the trailers yet. Plus, Doomsday (kinda sorta) kills Superman later, so its possible that those 3 don't beat him at the end and Doomsday escapes to return in a later movie. Batman and Superman fight each other, then they team up. Even if you don't read comics, it should not be a surprise to you. You all knew it was going to happen. Guess what other movie is gonna have superheroes fighting each other and then becoming friends again? Civil War. But I don't hear ya'll bitching about that.
DC just has the decency to not stretch everything into 20 movies like Marvel does. Feel like they're rushing it? Good! I'd rather you go straight to Justice League in just a few movies, that's what people want to see anyways. We don't need several movies for every character. In their cinematic universe, for their SECOND film, they're already making Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman meet, fight, and team up.

They'll probably introduce the other JL members together in the same movies too, and we'll be ready for an all-out Justice League movie in just a couple years. Instead of making people wait 4 years to see Hulk and Iron Man on the same screen with tons of filler movies in between to form the Avengers. Meanwhile, just 3 years later, we already got the core 3 members of the Justice League fighting together in the same movie (with promises of other characters to feature in the same film). I'm sorry, but I like that much better. The Infinity War movies will probably be awesome, but I'm gonna be married with grand kids by time they come out. Get to the good stuff DC!
