Its 2022 now and I still can't get over this movie. The moments, the music, the dialogues... everything is amazing to me and I'm not even a hardcore DC fan. This series needed to be continued.

Waaaaaay ahead of it's time...like most of Snyder's films. This movie is hands down the best superhero/comic book movie ever made. So many layers to this masterpiece. People who didn't like it the first time should really give it another go... especially the Ultimate Edition as that explains everything PERFECTLY. I've watched this countless times and I'm still shocked that I still discover new things that I missed before. That's the recipe of a great movie.

People, please take a look at the second part of the title "DAWN OF JUSTICE". Batman and superman might misunderstand each other but It's almost a given that they WILL come to respect the other party. im not sure how it can get better overtime.... its supposed to be batman vs superman movie but then very soon after they start fighting they stop? the title is misleading... it should just be Dawn of Justice or something like that. The entire movie is hyping up the fight between the 2 heroes and then it ends way too quickly and nothing happens between them after that. I never claimed its a bad movie but they failed on so many fronts... the trailer spoiled literally everything. (if they had kept doomsday out of trailer shots then it wouldve been an amazing surprise...) They shouldnt have shown us batman and supes fighting together in the trailers either... so that them teaming up wouldve had a bigger impact, especially for non-comic readers like me. Only great movies are hyped by making a trailer out of only the first act of the film... before the plottwists begin. Whether you like it or not Endgame had much better marketing... none of the trailers spoiled the other heroes coming back or getting killed... it didnt show Thanos being killed either despite him dying like 15 mins into the movie. Its not about comparing the movies, its about comparing the hype... bad marketing can destroy a good product. And BvS destroyed itself with bad spoilery trailers and misleading title, i was legit going into the movie thinking its a fight between the two heroes... or hoping it would be, after being spoiled by the trailer showing Doomsday. They should have focused on the conflict between them for the trailers and it would have been a much better experience... so sad they failed. And everyone watches trailers, not watching them is out of the question... infact you even see trailers on TV and pre-rolls before other movies. So they must be made right. Man of Steel was awesome tho. A new darker take on supes.

People who didn't like it the first time should really give it another go... especially the Ultimate Edition as that explains everything PERFECTLY. I've watched this countless times and I'm still shocked that I still discover new things that I missed before. That's the recipe of a great movie.

I'm so frustrated reading the comment section. There is an absurd amount people who don't know sh** what they are talking about. People, please take a look at the second part of the title "DAWN OF JUSTICE". Batman and superman might misunderstand each other but It's almost a given that they WILL come to respect the other party. I mean, bat and supes are the best bromance I've seen in all superhero genres. Btw, there is no way in hell Batman can win against Superman, and he never will (excluding the kryptonite part). It's like common knowledge to us DC fans that Supes is one of the strongest superheroes, but he respects Bat and considers him a worthy opponent. The fact that Batman, a mortal man, is able to go toe to toe with a god-like being like Superman is already very very impressive, and BATass.
P.S. I know it has been shown that Batman has beaten Superman before (in Frank Miller's TDKR for ex), but tbh, if Superman were to come at Bat seriously with killing intent, I doubt Bat could even be able to take out his Kryptonite. On another hand, Bat won't ever try to seriously kill Superman. Why waste time arguing if the outcome will always be the same?

The entire movie is hyping up the fight between the 2 heroes and then it ends way too quickly and nothing happens between them after that.
I never claimed its a bad movie but they failed on so many fronts... the trailer spoiled literally everything. (if they had kept doomsday out of trailer shots then it wouldve been an amazing surprise...)
They shouldnt have shown us batman and supes fighting together in the trailers either... so that them teaming up wouldve had a bigger impact, especially for non-comic readers like me.
Only great movies are hyped by making a trailer out of only the first act of the film... before the plottwists begin.
Whether you like it or not Endgame had much better marketing... none of the trailers spoiled the other heroes coming back or getting killed... it didnt show Thanos being killed either despite him dying like 15 mins into the movie. Its not about comparing the movies, its about comparing the hype... bad marketing can destroy a good product. And BvS destroyed itself with bad spoilery trailers and misleading title, i was legit going into the movie thinking its a fight between the two heroes... or hoping it would be, after being spoiled by the trailer showing Doomsday.
They should have focused on the conflict between them for the trailers and it would have been a much better experience... so sad they failed. And everyone watches trailers, not watching them is out of the question... infact you even see trailers on TV and pre-rolls before other movies. So they must be made right.
