Lex Luther radiates power and manipulation in the comics, and his hate for Superman is more apparent, as he feels inferior to him, even with all that financial power. I would have also expected him to steal Zods body rather than politely asking for it, while offering sweets.

I have just watched this movie and I don't get why people are so mad about it. People say it is too dark, it is ridiculous. It is not particularly dark. It is as dark as it should be, knowing this is a DC Comic movie, but the movie itself is not especially dark. On the other hand, we complain it is too boring. This is also ridiculous. Surely, there are some calm moments, but they are not necessarily boring, this is all part of the plan, this is to legitimately build up the story to the ending fight (exactly as they did in Lord of the Rings), which was epic. The movie is pretty good and absolutely not bad.
I was only disappointed with Lex Luthor's choice of actor. Lex is not like the way Jesse acted in this movie. He looked more like the riddler kind of guy. Actually, he loses his mind in the same way Riddler did in Batman Forever

Saw it Friday morning, 9am. Dedicated the whole day to it, BVS day. The film was absolutely beautiful. I wont spoil it, but Zack gave me something I have wanted since '93 (even though I was only 5) and it was absolutely amazing. By then end, I was so overwhelmed at just, well, everything, at least two tears ran the course of my cheeks. My lip quivered. This was everything I thought it would be, and so, so much more. Again, thank you so much Zack Snyder and WB. You gave me the one thing I have wanted to see live action since all of my life, and did it beautifully. Fuck the critics. Don't be a mindless drone, go see the film for yourself. Anyone that has been reading comics for a while will get an awesome treat. Suffice it to say, even knowing what happens in the trailers, the ending was absolutely shocking and, while I hoped they went full blast, I did not expect it.
Same as JL! The problem with this movie was the theatrical version (30 minutes cut) ultimate edition is the complete movie. Feel’s different and strong movie, I can't imagine what would have happened, if the UE version was the film on cinemas from the beginning.

It’s not a masterpiece however as a Batman film it’s damn good! Affleck was bloody good as a Frank Miller Batman.
I just wish we had gotten a solo Affleck trilogy rather then pointless team ups, Affleck was wasted in Justice League.

That was one of the most beautifully choreographed fight scenes I have ever seen. THIS is how Batman should fight, utilizing gadgets and hitting dudes so hard they end up in a hospital eating through a straw.

Saw it Friday morning, 9am. Dedicated the whole day to it, BVS day. The film was absolutely beautiful. I wont spoil it, but Zack gave me something I have wanted since '93 (even though I was only 5) and it was absolutely amazing. By then end, I was so overwhelmed at just, well, everything, at least two tears ran the course of my cheeks. My lip quivered. This was everything I thought it would be, and so, so much more. Again, thank you so much Zack Snyder and WB. You gave me the one thing I have wanted to see live action since all of my life, and did it beautifully. Fuck the critics. Don't be a mindless drone, go see the film for yourself. Anyone that has been reading comics for a while will get an awesome treat. Suffice it to say, even knowing what happens in the trailers, the ending was absolutely shocking and, while I hoped they went full blast, I did not expect it.

Same as JL! The problem with this movie was the theatrical version (30 minutes cut) ultimate edition is the complete movie. Feel’s different and strong movie, I can't imagine what would have happened, if the UE version was the film on cinemas from the beginning.
