Ben Affleck was and still is, the most physically intense Batman we've ever seen. Watching the fight between him and Superman in IMAX was incredible. It's a shame the Snyder trilogy got shafted by poor marketing and bad theatrical releases. Would still love to see a solo Batfleck film

My only problem with Affleck is how the writers failed at making him a good Batman, they got everything right, except for him as a person. How tf are you gonna have a Batman that kills? That really ruins things for me, and it’s the same thing with BM v. SM, he’s so irrational. I mean I get why he’s wary of Superman, but he shouldn’t jump to the illogical conclusion he’s going to end humanity or something.
I still remember the backlash the community hurled when Affleck was announced as the next Batman. It was sad really. While I was not a fan of how Batman was depicted in Justice League, the brutality and savagery in which Affleck brought to Batman in this movie was the best, most intimidating characterization of Batman on any big screen. It was the Batman we've all been waiting for. Affleck was the best Batman imho. This was "Arkham" on the big screen. I hope it is one day replicated.
People hate Zack Snyder. Maybe not all of them, but not everyone wants to believe that he was the one who had revived DC itself. One idea of adding Batman into BvS, and BOOM! We already have SS, Wonder WOMAN and justice League. Without him, I'm sure it would just be reboots of Batman.
Anymation Dawn of Justice should've just been about Batman's conflict with Superman and Lex Luther's influence. But no they had to force in Wonder Woman, a terrible looking Doomsday and clips of the Justice League smh Also the Suicide Squad movie made no sense. I don't care what people say about this movie I think it's underated. Sure the theatrical version was a little disappointing but the ultimate edition is awesome.
I actually enjoyed the movie.
We almost got the real Dark Knight. Definitely the best presented in terms of suits, gadgets, voice, build etc, it's like he was pulled straight from Frank Miller's D.K. Batfleck was my favourite - not the movies, just the Batman.

I thought it was a better movie than most people gave it credit for. It wasn't perfect, but I was entertained. Also, Ben's portrayal of Batman was surprisingly good. When I first heard he was going to play Batman, my expectations weren't high, but in the end he ended up playing my favorite version of him.

Marvel got story on lockdown. Villains on point. And heroes with more reasonable and clear motivations. So snyder can't make up for his lack of storytelling ability with cool scenes and good suits.
